I kept playing, because the appts being booked weeks, & months out wasn't working for me. The costs online for expedited services, were insane! I spent weeks on researching, & comparing. I did my passport last minute, & I want to give you all some free info. This may work in any place, if you check with your major colleges & see if they have passport services. I used UNLV, here in Vegas. Step 1: Get your passport photos done at Walmart, for only $7. They have the full set up. Step 2: Go to your post office, & get money orders for every thing. Passport BOOK $130 & Expedited Fee $60 ($35 processing is paid at time of application) Step 3: Walk in (no appointment needed) at UNLV (or your college) Passport Services; fill out application in person, provide ID, birth certificate, & payment. I did all this last week, my Passport just shipped today. I'll receive it by Tues, & I leave on Sept 30th! read more

Unfortunately I found this to be a complete WASTE of TIME & Money. I went on July 22 after receiving an incomplete information letter. When I returned to office they were less than helpful given I had paid $45 and Now waited 6 weeks. For the garbage work they did I could have gone to my local post office and done a better job. Oh my goodness! I have been trying to arrange a passport for my child and everywhere I called had availability in June and July. Unfortunately, this wasn't helpful so I kept looking and I am so glad I found the UNLV passport service . Just a quick note, you can make an appointment online, but they only have a two week window . So because I couldn't find anything sooner, I decided to walk in.. Boy was I glad I did! As with anything, please make sure you complete the forms check all documents that are required. Have your passport pictures taken and don't forget payment. Victor was so helpful today. I appreciate everything that he did and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Important: 1. Complete the form online. 2. Print and bring it in. 3. Passport pictures can be taken anywhere. I went to Walgreens. $16. 4. Bring in a copy of your childs expired passport if you have one 5. Birth certificate 6. Money order has to be written out to U.S. department of state. 7. $35 processing fee and you can pay that with credit card. no cash. 8. I paid the expedited fee of $60. 9. Parents ID Note: all copies should be black and white. Not color. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend if you need a passport fast . Easiest passport process! Went in to renew my passport and also my babys first passport. Bring requirements (originals) and bring a check. They have everything you need at this location. No need to print or photocopy anything before hand! I love their photos too way better than Walgreens. Just a note if getting a passport for your baby and your id says not for federal use to make sure bring another form of ID. So easy i cannot believe I procrastinated this long to get passports! Just walkin no appointment needed. And go up the counter dont wait for name to be called. Open from 9 to 2. It is located inside the foodcourt area. Super quick process. 5 stars read more

17 years old son applying for adult passport, we signed in as a walk-in 11:50 am. We waited for 45 mins and no one name's being called. I asked the gentleman how long is walkin since I don't hear anyone's name nor any names being crossed off the list. He looked at the sign in sheet and said he'll help me. Gave him the application, birth certificate, expired child passport, passport picture and dmv picture of permit (secondary ID form since he doesn't have driver license) paid $130 plus $35 processing fee and was out in 10 mins. Don't just sit there and wait name to be called, go counter and tell them when you're ready with your stuff. Parking was $7 on parking app good till 7pm . read more

Originally had an appointment at usps for a 1st time passport & they canceled my appointment for no reason after booking a month prior. UNLV had an opening for an appointment the next day. I went in and took literally less than 5 minutes. (I had everything ready, paperwork, id's, money orders, picture) so all i really did was hand in the paperwork, signed, and the girl was super sweet and professional! Don't even think you really need an appointment, you can just walk in! When my parents got their passport recently at usps, they had an appointment and waited an hour until it was their turn, at UNLV, you'll be in and out quick & doubt you'll ever have to wait an hour unless the lines are super long for some reason. This is by far the quickest, easiest, most convenient way to get your passports, especially if you live anywhere near the UNLV campus. We had appointments scheduled, but I called and they said come on in about 6 weeks before our actual appointment opening. Honestly you can just show up as a walk-in by about 2pm and they'll get to you. They close at 3pm. They even offer passport photos for $15. They keep one photo for the application, and give you another little print of the pic to take home for future needs. Our "appointment" was a still a month away, and we were done and had our confirmation from the State Department before our scheduled appointment time would've even come the next month. The staff is very friendly, and they'll walk you through everything. Just make sure you bring all the specified items for the process, and I recommend bringing the check book. (I know a lot of folks no longer have them.) It saved us time, money, and effort from having to go buy money orders, etc. They want the exact amount, no credit cards accepted for the actual federal passport application. UNLV DOES take cards for their part which includes the $35 application fee and $15 photo option. For my husband and I it was $100 for two applications and two sets of photos. THIS IS JUST THE FEES FOR UNLV AND THE PHOTOS. Passports are a separate charge paid to the State Department and must be paid by check or money order. This is a great service offered by Rebel Copy & Send. I can't recommend this highly enough. It took off soooo much stress. read more

this place is the best place to get a passport. i needed my passport for my trip coming up and i was stressing looking for earliest appointment online and the earliest one was july 2 which my trip was july 1 and i researched and found this place i was nervous i wasn't gonna be able to walk in or them having appointments but i did a walk in there and it was not long at all i was in and out in 20 minutes. I had previously tried to get a appointment for my trip i have coming up in a month i applied for my passport with everything ready when i went on the 2nd of june and i just received my passport today on the 11th of june and my trip is on july 1st i was nervous i wasn't gonna get it but it got here way earlier then i expected. i also paid it to get expedited and the 1-2 day delivery fee . definitely worth it. i also did my pictures there which was only $15 . if you are looking to get a passport come here don't waste your time making a appointment online for a passport thats months out cause they barely have any appointments available. everyone here was nice and helpful as well. and the food court is right by the passport office which was great as well. i never usually rate or write about anything but this i felt needed to be shared. im so overly happy i got it in time! read more

If I could do my passport more frequently, I would come back here! Make sure you make an appointment prior to coming. Originally the location was on campus but it is now across the street from the Greenspun Building in a shopping center. It is easy to miss. I thought the directions were taking me to the post office, but nope. I was wrong. Their little office is on the right-hand side by Chew Boba. So, don't freak out if you can't find it. Also, make sure you have a money order or a check written for the actual passport book and/or passport card. The gentleman that helped me during my appointment was super nice and made the transaction super smooth. I had my paperwork signed already, which might have made it easier for them. I also had my picture taken there. It wasn't my best mug shot, but eh. It's for my passport. Otherwise, I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. Avoid this location. They may make appointments, but it doesn't mean much apparently. I walk in 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment time only to be told that the family of 8 before me was going to take an additional hour to complete and I'd have to wait, even with my appointment. There was only one person working in the office and there was nothing that could be done because the family before was being taken care of. My question is, why wouldn't this office plan for this better? Why allow an appointment at a specific time if they knew a family of 8 was coming in before? Why was there only 1 person working this office? I ended up leaving as I don't have time to wait an hour past my appointment time. There's a reason I scheduled it for that time. I definitely don't want to give this place the processing fee, as they are clearly unorganized and unable to keep appointments. Why would I reward them with by business? Avoid!! read more

I used this service after my passport had already expired and couldn't believe how easy it was. Everything I needed to bring was listed on the UNLV website which allowed me to be prepared for my visit. They will even take your picture right then and there to avoid an extra step for the passport process. Best part is avoiding the long lines at the post office. I was expecting to receive my passport in about a month or so but 2 weeks later it was already in my mailbox. Great service that I will continue to recommend. read more

I was very excited to find that UNLV had a passport office as US postal services location appointments were hard to come by. We found the parking inconvenient but the ease of getting an appointment was very tempting to us. The two young man that processed my children's renewal applications were very respectful and our applications were processed rather quickly. The **major** issue we have with this location was that they **incorrectly** informed us that our children's current passports DID NOT have to be sent with their applications. I received letters in the mail from the US Passport agency stating that the renewal applications were on hold and that that we needed to provide them with the original passports to move forward with their applications. I planned ahead made sure to start the application process in March at the UNLV passport office for a June vacation to Europe. Now I'm not sure if we will get our passports on time for the trip. I called in an attempt to have the passports expedited ($75 each) but was told this MAY NOT be possible! I was told by the young men during our appointment that UNLV was trying to make this passport processing location the premier location in Vegas. I absolutely love that they have this on campus for students! The processing fee is only $10 for students and that's pretty good compared to getting it processed somewhere else. They also take your photo if needed. Carlos and Adam were super friendly and helpful and got it done in a decent amount of time. He is the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. When I arrrived to the office, the woman that was at the front desk was very friendly and professionl. She was very helpful.
