Because of this pain I deal with on a day to day basis, I decided that I would finally do something that I had not done before as what I was doing for pain management for years was not working. I scheduled my appointment on-line and completed the preliminary paperwork on-line before the start of the appointment. In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is based on the theory that your health depends on the flow of qi (energy) in your body. This energy travels along invisible pathways, known as meridians, that are found throughout the body. A blocked or disrupted flow of qi can have a negative effect on your physical and mental health. Acupuncture aims to restore the flow of qi by resolving any blockages or disruption. Prior to getting stated with my session, Jayme asked me about my background, what my pain points were, etc. This allowed her to get an idea how to best help me. After the conversation, Jayme began to place needles in various parts of my body for my session. With the needles inserted, I laid face down on a message table for about 20 minutes. When the needles were removed, I felt centered and calm. Literally, my mood was totally changed and the stress seemed to just float out of body. After my session was over, Jayme gave me the print out of my session and I scheduled my next session for the New Year. #bewellcentraltx

Quick run down I was working out and felt a small pin pain kind of thing on the exterior of my right knee. I woke up the next morning with my right knee in way more pain and not really able to bend. So I took the weekend to relax and just see if my old body could work it out in its own. Well it didn't. I took the following wk off from working out and kept movement limited. Jump to today. I am still having some pain definitely not like the two days after, but something is not right. Dr. Mac was amazing Was on time and spent real time talking with me and finding out what I was feeling. Looked over my whole body and there is definitely some small issues with joints but the Dr. and my self have a plan moving toward. For the knee pain he addressed my concerns and walked me thru the recovery process giving me so many recommendations to help speed it up and ensure a correct heal.
