So I take every opportunity to self-enroll in such things as Internet service, a checking account, or utility bills - rather than having to dictate my information to someone who can only spell my name when I say it phonetically, "D; A; N; I; E; L, as in LISTEN you idiot!". But when it came to home-buying, I set my impatience aside, and let the professionals at Pioneer Title Company handle all of the paperwork. And, let's be honest, I'm too impatient even to learn property law to sufficiently close a real estate deal. Pioneer Title was my realtor's title company of choice. And a good choice it was. Pioneer was highly organized and efficient - at closing, a stack of forms a half-ream of paper high were arranged in order and prepared for the specified party to sign. Unfortunately, Pioneer's residential real estate specialist was out the day of my closing, so I was assigned to their commercial real estate specialist. As such, she could only provide a very shallow explanation of what I was signing - I had to lean on my realtor and mortgage broker to answer questions about the paperwork. Later, Pioneer Title never sent the ownership change to my homeowners' association. Yet, despite these minor issues, Pioneer Title facilitated a clean, efficient home purchase for me. Never once did they make me want to tear my hair out, nor did they ever make me want to swipe the pen from their hands and do it all myself.

Only Judy realized that looking for a home is sometimes a lengthy process. She got to work right away sending us listings and planning showings. When we decided to build, she was there every step of the way for an entire year. We are so impressed with her knowledge of the building process,water/drainage/soil issues, and even landscaping. She even hired a stellar inspector to visit our home 4 or 5 times during the building process...invaluable! She has connections to all the best experts in the area, a benefit that less experienced realtors cannot offer. It was apparent to us early on that, beyond finding us a house, her primary goal is in building relationships. We have bought, sold, and built houses before. Overall we liked the realtors we worked with, but Judy is by far the gold-standard. She is a tenacious advocate for her clients and will research options to help them make the strongest decisions.
