The last few times we have come here my wife had been able to find a few different outfits with little hassle and no headaches. The staff here is incredible polite and the selection is great. This week I made my way in and ended up feeling super nostalgic! As a kid I used to love visiting Los Angeles, specifically the area called The Aly, which was like a fashion district filled with wholesale fashion, bazaar set ups with cheap clothes and fabric stores. I think this is where I learned to enjoy rummaging through nonsense to find affordable and cool clothes. Madrag is almost exactly that. Incredibly affordable clothes, with a vast range of styles from basics, to winter clothes, to nightlife/clubbing dresses. And to reiterate, sooo cheap! They had a $4 rack. I mean, you're not coming here for quality (it's similar to forever 21), and a lot of the selection isn't for me, but I did find a few cool items that would have been 5-10x the price elsewhere. Staff help is almost nonexistent, and the fitting rooms are small and need cleaning. Overall, if you are in the area, need a quick outfit without breaking the bank, this place could be what you need.

When I got in the store I said I needed to return some clothes and the manager immediately had an attitude. When she saw that I had not opened the bag she said, "You haven't even tried anything on and you're already returning it?" She had the BIGGEST attitude when she said that. I told her that it was an impulse buy. She just shook her head and walked away. She was even rude to someone who had called about an order that they had ordered to be picked up in store. She basically hung up on the person. She didn't even listen to them. She literally held the phone away from her ear so even I was able to hear what the woman was saying. Don't go to this store. Torrid is a women's clothing store that only sells plus sizes…read more I'm a plus sized short woman. At most clothing stores, it's nearly impossible for me to find a pair of pants that fit. Not a problem at Torrid with large selections of both plus size and short jeans, pants, & leggings. Thanks to them, I own a pair of jeggings! (Who knew those look good on plus sized women too?!) The prices are a little high, but I'll accept that as a trade off for items fitting me off the rack (no alterations needed). They often have sales. The one going on today for regular priced clothing is buy one item get a second item 30% off. There is also a great selection of dresses, bathing suits, bras, and tee shirts. The sales staff are helpful and not over the top in pushing sales. I'm wicked psyched that there is now a Torrid close to my home.

Not only that but I had unfortunately run into an issue with my online order and it wasn't any fault of the store but due to the delivery of the package. Rebecca, one of the owners was incredibly kind and responsive in helping to resolve the issue and truly went above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service. Service I did not think existed! I will definitely be back and more frequently because between the store and the staff, I do not think I could have purchased from a better boutique!
