Jessie our instructor was a combination of yogic yet super athlete which gets high props from me. We paddled out 1/2 mile and then anchored in the water for part two of our time - the yoga. Damn! Sup in the ocean is hard. I love how Jessie was in tune with the group's ability and pushed us yet it wasn't daunting. 1/2 the group had never done sup and I never felt like anything we tried was too tough or dangerous. We did a lot of sitting postures and then moved onto standing postures which were HARD. If you are looking for a strength workout and something adventurous and different give sup yoga a try! So fun!
