I've been interested in learning the practice of Tai Chi Chuan which integrates meditation and movement, can be practiced anywhere and in group settings too. I couldn't have found better teachers. Sifu Jan and Sifu John teach Yang style tai chi as transmitted by Grand Master William CC Chen. I've been attending weekly classes for the past 9 months and have experienced the benefits in my daily life, and surprisingly, even in my golf game! I'm more relaxed and better able to stay focused on the present; I'm more conscious of the way I move my body and have better leverage and balance; and while unintended, I can swing my driver for a draw consistently and much more accurately. After being a life-long slicer, that in itself is an amazing accomplishment. Jan and John are great teachers. They're passionate and very knowledgeable about the art form providing each individual student the instruction and subtle corrections needed, they're precise and supportive, they keep it challenging and fun, and above all they're good people. They care. They teach several classes a week throughout the North Shore and Kula, at their dojo, at community centers and hospitals, and wherever they can for our veterans. If you're looking for an activity that feels really different, can improve your well-being and elevate your spirit, take a class for the cost of a cheap lunch in Maui. What have you got to lose?

Based on the Tao, the slower I go, the faster I arrive, T’ai Chi Ch’uan teaches us how to be more relax, calm, focused and balanced. Classes include short and long form Yang Style, Tai Chi Sword Form, and push hands from the lineage of professor Cheng Man-Ching and William C.C. Chen. With great passion and love of the art, I would love to share the practice for great heath and well being.
