Another five star review! I injured my back doing normal day to day stuff and I was in pain! I thought if I got a deep tissue massage it may help the tension I had. It has been some time since I have visited so the massage therapist I used to see was no longer there and the location has changed. I figured I try it out since it's been a while. I made an online appointment with Moriah for a 75minute deep tissue massage. The new location was easy to find and parking was a breeze. Moriah did an amazing job finding all the knots in my lower back. She is a miracle worker. I booked another appointment with her for yesterday. The experience was amazing. You know the massage is astounding if you are so relaxed you fall asleep. She is able to find the tension and knots that need to be worked on without me having to show her. I walked into Unwind with a significant amount of pain in my left shoulder - years of being an ICU nurse and using that arm to carry my kids - I booked late in the day and was able to get a next day appointment. When I left I felt such relief, the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. Lynn was my therapist, she made sure I was comfortable and really heard me when I was explaining my trouble area. I've only had a handful of massages before but that was by far the best! I needed to find a new massage therapist because the one I had been seeing was a long drive from our home and the massage therapy place he worked for kept raising rates. Unwind was very close to us in Hutto (real close to Lowes) and got great reviews so decided to give the a try! I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were same day reservations available in their online booking system (granted, this was on a weekday), and the rates were reasonable. I was incredibly sore after three days on my feet at a conference so I booked an 80 minute massage with Jen. I got taken back to the room soon after my arrival and was given my choice of a couple different scents for massage oil and decided to go with eucalyptus. Then the massage began and OMG...it was amazing. The pressure was just right (I really don't like weak massages), and Jen even threw in some perks I've never experienced before including an exfoliating treatment on my feet followed by hot towels. I found this massage center through a gift my husband got me for Christmas. As soon as you walk in the ambiance is calming and welcoming. There was no waiting, Jen greeted me immediately and sge was so very sweet. I was scheduled for a 90 minute massage that felt like 2hrs. I was floored at how thorough my massage was in just 90 minutes. At no time was she rushed or inconsistent. Even giving a little more attention to a specific area I was having pain in. I just had a WONDERFUL massage! We have a great reasonably priced place right here in Hutto. Its located in the Legends Chiropractic office (behind the hotels). So a nice relaxing place. Jen had wonderful pressure and technique. They also went out of their way to cater to my special allergy issues. And the scheduling can actually be done instantly online, not the ones where you send a suggestion of when you would like it but the calendar literally shows you the open spots and you snag it. I had no issues catering around my work schedule either and only scheduled 2 days in advance. I am super satisfied and right now my pain is gone! I was to thrilled i shared this on three FB groups and Google. I kinda want to keep them to myself but want to make sure enough people know that we keep them in business. This place is a little slice of heaven tucked away in Hutto, Texas. I usually have a hard time truly relaxing but that was not the case today. The ambience is to die for and so was the 90 minute lavender body wrap massage. Jen was very professional but she also made me feel like I was an old friend. Jen was awesome! I have fibromyalgia, and she knew just what I needed. I left feeling great! She worked out a lot of knots. She used hot stone therapy to get out the tougher knots, and it felt great! She did things no massage therapist has ever done before, such as putting hot towels on my feet after massaging them. She even went over a few minutes because she felt that she wasn't done.
