As I was progressing with mine, I realized that I was missing some blue beads so I went to the store to try & purchase them separately. They didn't sell them separately so I went to see if Tammy was in that day & had any suggestions because she was so helpful originally. Low & behold Tammy was in. I shared my experience with her. This is what she did for me. She opened up another kit the same as mine & not only gave me the blue colour I needed but also gave me two other colours that she thought I may need. Price is a bit higher than the other local yarn stores, so, I didn't buy much from them, unless I couldn't find such yarn in other stores. They do have a special discount section at the back of the store, it's worth to go and check them out. It's really a good deal! I bought some JOY yarn over there with very good deal! They have lots of magazine back issues, it's great to check them out. However, they don't have many pattern books, and not very updated too. No distractions and perhaps with some good friends! Purchase your tickets early. I noticed some of the workshops sell out fast ! Max 25 seats for the classes. I guess that's why. They carry quilt fabrics and yarn - no regular fabrics for making clothing - perhaps they should let go of the Sewing Centre moniker. The staff far outnumbered the customers and were a little too pushy. Are customers not allowed to wander and look at the products anymore? If staff don't see eye to eye with each other, perhaps they could wait until potential customers have left the store. One of the employees was trying hard to end the heated discussion by suggesting they talk about this later in private but the other kept pushing - not professional.
