I shot a gun once many years ago, so had very little experience going in to this class and was a little nervous. Shawn made me feel comfortable and took the time to help me with positioning my hands when holding the gun and giving individual help to each of us. We shot targets for an hour and it was amazing because we enjoyed learning new things and I was able to show my family some techniques that they don't know as they don't go to gun ranges to try out new pistols in New York City. My reason for the 4 stars is... it just would be nice if the staff would offer a quick little safety reminder of Tips to people. Even start just some basic guidelines on the rules of the facility, not necessarily how to shoot a gun, but how to be safe in the space; that way, you don't have to be spoken to, but more importantly, it would be a nice addition just to feel more comfortable. Finally, the gentleman who checked us in was attentive, knowledgeable, and a delight. I would definitely do this more when I have guest come from out of town who have never had this experience.

John was very thorough and he drilled in the basic tenets of firearm safety. They also learned the ins and outs of range safety and most importantly, how to handle and discharge a handgun. The range work was awesome, as they had the opportunity to fire off between 60-100 rounds each (9mm) and became familiar with sidearm handling characteristics, such as grip, weight, balance, and recoil. They entered with absolutely no knowledge of firearms and left with the confidence that if needed, they could load, handle and discharge a handgun safely and with purpose.

Completed my waiver online prior to visiting, as I literally only had an hour for my lunch break. I get there, they couldn't find my waiver...no big deal, I'll complete another one. Not necessary because after a bit of searching they find it, then send me to check into the range. The range guy states there's is an issue and I have to go back to the front to complete a new one. So I go up front...only 1 IPAD is booted and functioning and a line of 3 people waiting for it. I tried to complete it on my phone to no avail as the reception sucked. While it's not their fault my time was limited, they don't seem like they know what they're doing. And to have 6 i-pads mounted, only 1 working??? Might give it another try, but just didn't have the time to work through their problems today.
