RDL was able to get my home warranty service to give me a brand new Unit at no cost. RDL did the work and installed it as soon as the part came in. This is when the real problems began. It died within a week and we called an made an appointment for Thursday at 5 pm. I called and made sure he was coming because I had to move my schedule around since no one else would be home. At 6pm no one came so I started calling and he does not pick up. He finally picks up at 7 and says he can't do it because he didn't have the right equipment. If that was the case then the professional thing to do would be to let us know that he cannot make it so we don't have to wait on him. He says that he will be here the next day at 4. On the next day I again move my schedule around and wait until 4. Again no one shows and I call him multiple times and he does not respond. I tell my housemate to call and he picks up right away and says that he is on his way and will be here within 30 minutes. Around 6 he does not show up and my housemate calls and he does not pick up. We call the homeowner to let them know what is going on and the technician says he will be here in 5-10 minutes. Which is 2 hours past the time he said he would be. I find this very unprofessional that they did not let us know that they weren't even going to come. And when he showed up not even a single apology and acted like nothing was wrong.

Scheduling was difficult, missed appointments and showing up late. When they finally arrived to actually do the work, they didn't have the proper equipment for it and they left for hours never to return. A few days later they came back to start and I was told that they need to bring another person to help get the job done and there would be extra cost. I agreed to pay more and it was changed to a flat rate at that point. They completed half the job and ran out of materials (supplied to them). I paid them 50% of the amount as half the work was done. Within two days I scheduled again to have them come and finish the job. And 20 minutes before they are set to arrive, they said the pricing will change again if I want the job done. This is unacceptable by any standard. Even though the flat rate quote was within $10 of what others have quoted on Yelp, I gave them a chance with no reviews on Yelp and that's a mistake. Now I have an unfinished job that I need to bring another company to finish. I would not recommend the business due to the following reasons. 1. Providing an inaccurate quote based on a site inspection (not just photos) 2. Missed appointments and delays 3. Not having the proper equipment to start the job even though the site visit should have made it clear 4. Changing the quoted price mid way, not once but twice If these challenges are no big deal to you, then go ahead and hire them.
