Went for a birthday party. Everything was great, except... we spent quite a bit on the play cards and wanted to get our kids some of the toys with the points on them. We ended up leaving after waiting around for almost 45minutes while the girl at the front desk yapped on the phone. She made eye contact with us a bunch of times but continued to yap on the phone. Literally no one around but myself and the kids at the desk. She turned her back on us repeatedly and continued to talk. We ended up leaving without cashing in any points. She is not only making customers feel ripped off, but she is also ripping off her employer. I read all these negative reviews and I don't get it. This is the first time I have been to Uplay, my friend takes her children here regularly. She said that she usually comes during the week and there are very few people there and sometimes she has the whole place to herself. We came on a Saturday morning around 11 a.m. and the place was busy but not too busy by noon it seemed the amount of people had tripled. The trampolines were totally fun for the kids. The under 3 area kept one of the children entertained for well over and hour and the larger play area was also really fun for the kids. I thought the place was pretty clean. There are 100s of children running around...for the amount of children, I thought it was clean. The bathrooms were clean, there was plenty of toilet paper. I didn't eat the food but it looked like they have healthy options and kid friendly options. There were lots of birthday parties going on. There is a parking lot. You just wear socks. They have lockers available if you want to store valuables. There is free WiFi and some comfy chairs for adults to sit at. read more

We decided to give Uplay another try, we attended with a friend and her two littles. I found the trip more enjoyable, the kids had fun and ran like crazy. We ordered a large fries and nachos which were pretty good , and the kids liked. I still found the staff to be inattentive to what was going on around them. We walked out with our kids through the "locked"gate and out the door without a single person noticing or checking our stamps. I would expect a play place like this to be more accountable to making sure kids are leaving with the right set of parents. read more

This place is disgustingly dirty, they really need to wipe things down. I took my Grandkids there when it first opened was mint. This trip was very disappointing front entrance was filthy, I would of turned around and walked out but I promised the kids, Black recliners I wouldn't sit on and walls are filthy. There must of been 100 kids in there no-one supervising the only people working was the gentlemen at the front grabbing your money and two people in the concession. I honestly think the health board needs to take a look this is a place where children play and should be disinfected to ensure children aren't getting sick. read more

Ok where to start.. when you first walk in the boot area is a mess, shoes are everywhere rather than being in the actual shoe slots. The girl at the front helping us was very friendly! The play area is lots of fun, and has 4 levels with slides, a basketball net - there is also a toddler area with a slide & a little play house, also a trampoline area! Now, for the NOT so nice things! The roof was leaking so water was in the toddler area which would be dangerous, I went to the front to info them and I got told that they don't know how to fix it, as the landlord was suppose to come in and take a look? The food was disgusting, I ordered my son a hot dog & fries-- the fries were over cooked, could barely eat them because they were so dry & hard. The hot dog was fine. My son ended up not eating anything so it pretty much went to the trash. The floor was SO dirty, and I'm not talking like a little bit of stuff here and there, NO! The whole floor was covered in food, that had been stepped on multiple times, and there was stuffing from the padding everywhere as well. The people aren't taking care of this place, a lot of young people working & they were too interested in there booster juice that was being delivered than helping anyone else, I seen one girl which was the same girl at the front desk that was actually working in the whole place! Well where do i start, you walk in, wasn't greeted, ok whatever sometimes you forget, most of the arcade games are broken, the staff sit on their phones the whole time, i waited 5 minutes before asking them to be helped even though the front counter is right next to it. And to top it off its 16$ for a large pizza that they picked up frozen from walmart for 5$. It was fun for the first time. But the second and third time going there you start seeing things that are wrong. No toilet paper in the washrooms, Machines broken again, never ending plastic bags on the floor, The gate is open so any kid can run into and out and the other gate is broken as well. You start wondering what else can be broken??? The springs on the trampoline, The big treehouse? It's really been run down and they're not fixing anything. Enter at your own risk. Hi....i was at your place today and I have to say that with the cost (over $50) for the 4 kids who were of age, this place was ridiculous. The large play place was filled with garbage and broken zip ties. My daughter brought me about 10 her first time on before I finally told her just to leave them. The kids were climbing over garbage just to play. The amount of broken safety straps is quite unnerving. The toddler play area...underneath where the kids climb to the slide was also filled with garbage, cups/plates....how disgusting that I paid that much for my kids to play with garbage. And the stamps coming in...i was told that you guys check the stamps upon leaving to make sure no children are taken by a stranger. We left and NOBODY tried to stop us to check. One kid was out roaming in the lobby by themself and their parent came to get them. Kids were coming in and out as they pleased leaving the gates open. None of the girls up front seemed to even notice or care. There are a ton of other play places in Edmonton I can take my family to that are a lot safer and cleaner. I was at your 156 street location and though I was only going to pick up my child and sit at a table your rude staff FORCED me to buy socks even though I wasn't going on equipment- would not have thought anything until I saw other people with BARE FEET walking around and going on equipment I told you r staff and they did nothing to stop anyone from walking around and going on equipment bare foot Only Native people have to wear socks? Because that is what I saw, and I told them that it was very unfair that they continue to allow people in bare foot yet I had to buy socks to sit at a table for 30 minutes Disgusting and I feel it was a racist - I will b posting on google and yelp as this is very unsettling - I brought it up and the rude girls at the front just said "ya, we see them" but still the double standard. I have mixed feelings on UPlay. I like the staff, they were all very friendly and every staff member met me with a smile on their face. With that being said, it was LOUD, LOUD, and LOUDER. I know that children aren't generally on the quiet side, so I'm not blaming the establishment; however, the decibel level seems to carry in this building for some reason. Maybe it's because the North half of the building is dedicated solely to a large wide open trampoline area while the South end of the building harbours the playground and play structure, party rooms, gaming area, and cafe. There are no sound barriers to be found. I was also disappointed that their plastic ball gun area was not working even though they've only been open for a little over a month. Their food prices were actually not that bad compared to a lot of indoor playgrounds that I have been to. One thing that I wish, though really has nothing to do with UPlay itself, is that little kids would stop asking me for tokens for the carousel and would ask their own parents. read more

It's always good to find new locations for kiddos to burn off their energy, especially with our long winters, and this one just opened recently. It's divided into play structure area and trampoline land, and you pay separately for each one. There's also the ubiquitously overpriced food and token-munching arcade,but for most kids the play area is enough to keep them busy. What sets this apart from others, such as Hide 'n Seek, is that it is EXTREMELY noisy because of the smaller space - I mean, REALLY uncomfortably noisy, as in "get me out of here!" unless you're either a saintly parent or hearing impaired. That factor alone will make me more inclined to go elsewhere, as I failed the "saintly" test in a matter of minutes. I didn't get to the trampoline section, so perhaps it's less crowded and chaotic. read more

My kids age 7 and 9, love this place. I think the main reason is that at for their age it is a safe fun place. For one there are few if any teenagers for them to bumped by or picked on. Majority of the kids are in the same age group, so lots of friends to be made. Large area for fun and running around. A big part of the draw is the the 3 large trampoline areas. The first and largest is mainly just for jumping. The second is a dodge ball arena, and the third is the foam pit. Then there is the huge jungle gym play structure. With 3 slides and lots of nooks and crannies to explore. My kids are to old for it but there is also a fair sized toddler and baby area with lots of foam play structures with padding on the floor. I'm cheap so I tend to think most things are over priced. At about $15/kid I try to go for as long as possible. Then there is the little food court. At $2.50 for a cup of keurig coffee I think that's a bit of highway robbery. They don't allow outside food or drinks so I make sure the kids are well feed prior to going and will buy a bottle of water for them to share. This time around I found the place to be a little under supervised but on a whole that might not be the worst thing for kids. read more

We were there on a Sunday, tables were not cleaned juice, ketchup and pizza sauce left all over the tables. The women's bathroom was stinking so bad like one of the toilets was not draining properly. It's time for the owners to get some proper staff that's not standing around on their Facebook and get this place whipped into shape. I took my kids to Uplay today and within 5 min my daughter comes to me crying saying the play structure cut her this happened to her twice in our one hour of being there they have very sharp edges on their ties that hold the equipment down. They are not cut right and very dangerous. When I brought it to the attention of the manager she didn't seem to care didn't even offer us a bandaid good thing I come prepared. Also the place is disgusting we were there right at opening and it looks like it has never been Cleaned. They are way better play parks out avoid this one if possible read more

Wow, amazing trampoline park and indoor play ground ....I do not think my kids bothered me for 3 hours! I would highly recommend this for children 2 to 14, the best money I ever spent. By the time we left my kids were exhausted and fell asleep on the way home, much better then them playing with their ipad all day! I would recommend this place for kids parties as well, they had an indoor playground, arcade, party rooms and a cafe. I would also suggest checking in on line to save time the line can take a few minutes. Overall great experience ... my kids are begging to go back!! read more

We had been wanting to check out this facility for a while. My 5 year old enjoyed himself, but we won't be back. The parents who came with their families decided it was more important to sit on their phones instead of supervising their children. This resulted in a multitude of poorly behaved children bullying other kids and harassing strangers for tokens for the games. More than half of these machines were broken or were occupied as additional climbing structures by the previously mentioned kids. The biggest reason we won't be back: absolutely nobody was checking hand stamps at the exits to ensure that adults leaving aren't taking someone else's child. read more

I was at Uplay today with my 3 year old. The staff was friendlier than usual, however there was a couple of hiccups. Firstly the music would play for about 30 seconds and then shut off for 20 secs...no one fixed this. I was there forn2 hours and it was like this the whole time. Secondly there is a leak in the ceiling over top the trampoline area and they have a bucket sitting underneath of it....major tripping hazard in an area where kids are running around like crazy. Unfortunately this place has already passed its prime! The playground requires major repairs to multiple parts of equipment and a major clean. The trampolines have holes, exposed springs and generally in poor upkeep. Missing balls, broken arcade games and the price keeps going up now to $18 for two toddlers. When we have gone, it's been very clean and the staff has always been very helpful and friendly. The prices for the value are fair and the food is decent/average, it's what you expect from these type of child friendly places. When it first opened it was great, but it seems the maintenance has not been kept up. It's dirty and things are broken everywhere. Flying fox is broken, ball shooter broke & was never repaired or replaced. Basketballs are all under the trampolines so you can't shoot at the nets. There are giant cob webs hanging from the rafters all the way down to the railings, which tells me the railings are never wiped off let alone sanitized. The last time we went to Uplay, we did not have a good experience, we went on a Friday afternoon which is considered the weekend so it was overpriced, the place was dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting, there was only one game working, the slides were so sticky that no one could slide down them, they have free lockers but only a few worked. BUT I did express my concern to management that since the place opened it seems to not be so well maintained anymore. They did respond to me and were understanding of my concerns and assured me that the issues would be corrected. I thought I would give them a try again and much to my surprise, they really had worked on these issues. Even though the day we picked to go, there happened to be a huge daycare there also, it was very packed and loud but there seemed to be a lot of staff between the daycare & Uplay supervising the kids and the daycare kids were well behaved. We had a great time, it was clean, the bathrooms were taken care of. All the games were working however some did not give out tickets so when I mentioned it to the staff they just gave use tickets at the counter to redeem for a prize. The slides had been waxed so the kids could actually slide down them. The free lockers are still not fixed but again I found one that did work so that was nice to have valuebles locked up.
