We came here for a birthday party and they had a great setup- room with plates and cups, pizza party package, with juice and pop. And a card loaded with tokens for the arcade games. They have a nice food area with plenty of seating and it's a little set away from the main play area which if you want a little space and break from the noise it's a nice respite. A good selection of snacks from fruit and veg to pizza, coffee and slushies. High chairs available too. Onto the play area! Wow so many cool spaces! I love the little hidden ninja monkey bar zone, the upstairs soccer area was a huge hit for my boys, along with the super big climb and silver slide- the challenge to get up there with the rock climbing style holds is epic that even the adults wanted a try! There is also a trampoline zone and tunnels and paths everywhere. So it's easy to lose your kid in there! The projector zone with the animated animals was a neat concept and I liked that it was a room all on its own. Next time I'd love to do the coloring activity where you can add your animal to the scene. But I also noticed that they do a good job keeping the areas tall and wide enough for an adult to follow their little human around without having to super crouch the whole time. There is also a super swing which looks interesting but both my kids were too nervous to give it a try. Maybe next time! There is a nice little toddler zone that's pretty smack in the middle of the whole area, so great if you have a little one you need to watch while the older ones run around. And the staff notice when big kids start invading the little kid zone and while we were there they did several conscientious announcements shooing the big kids out of the toddler zone- thank you and I appreciated that so much having a little one myself!

Makes you wonder how much longer will last, like should these kids be walking over it or crawling over? Arcade is nothing special and their redemption prizes are a joke. Chuck e cheeses has better redemeption prizes at a reason ticket price. Half of the arcade games were not working. Party room was not stocked with utsenils so i had to run down to the cafe and take forks from.

This is a neat little aquarium available to Edmonton…read more It's great for kids to experience underwater life if you're unable to hit up the larger ones on the coasts (ex. Sea World). They have a couple other land critters like snakes, reptiles, scorpions and such, which occasionally are taken out for walks and petting/photo opportunities. As for the underwater animals, there's a couple schools of fish, some individually unique ones, handful of large nurse sharks, a black tip reef shark, huge green sea turtles and other fishes I can't begin to name. The touch pools are always neat - poking at anemones, starfish and small nurse sharks! (they feel pretty rough covered in sand, like wetted fine sand paper) And then the 2 main attractions - African penguins and California sea lions! We got to attend a mini-showing of one of the Penguins before catching the sea lion show. The penguins are so little & super cute and make interesting noises (if the trainer can coax a loving squawk that sounds like a donkey lol). The sea lion show is also pretty entertaining, and the fun photo opps allow you to choose either side-by-side or getting a big wet kiss on your head!

My daughter is still really young but she thought the Sea Lions were hilarious the way they bounded about. She would have been happy with that. If you get a good spot on the bridge or balcony from the mall you can watch the whole show for free. The only difference is the photo opportunity at the end. If this is the only difference, I think they should brush up on the photography skills. There were a lot of bad images and I totally get it. Taking pictures of animals and kids is really hard. Although quite a few parents in my group begrudgingly purchased photographs of their kids with eyes closed etc. My kids pic was such a joke - even the sea lion looked confused. I didn't buy mine and it's ok. I don't really need a souvenir anyway. The price is reasonable, as it includes entry into the Sea Life Caverns too. $12 for adults and under 3 go free. The caverns are worth the $12 alone and the staff are fantastic with the kids and talking about the animals in general. A nice way to spend a few hours in the mall with the kids.

Located on the west side and there was quite a bit of parking available. But it was crowded in the cafe and even the playhouse was quite busy. They said they limit the number of kids in the space and you have to pre-book your 60 minute time slot. 60 minutes flew by! And it felt like we didn't get quite enough time to explore and really appreciate all the little houses and details. But that must be the allure of going again! Our babies favourite activities at the playhouses were the slide and the little play restaurant. The slide was busy and tight quartered. But the little stairs and crash section at the bottom were well placed. The play restaurant was good great, they had all the condiments and so many cute plastic food items for a variety of kids to play with. I recall one kid yelling out 'Ice Cream, Ice Cream'. So fun! There was also costumes, a colouring station, suction building blocks, a wooden play body/operation table. The baby area also looked nice, cozy and with some great stimulating toys. It's a bit pricey and it's too bad it's only a 60 minute booking but in February they had a 1/2 price deal so for just under $5 I felt like that wasn't too bad to check it out. If you do get to check out the cafe I would recommend their signature blue Butterfly Pea latte- it was super sweet and creamy and delightful.

Cute little place in a residential neighbourhood, all-vegan, run by a friendly woman. I phoned in our order (curry tofu wrap and tofu scramble wrap) and came to pick it up half an hour later -- the woman sure was persistent over the phone about upselling me add-ons to our order. ;-) When we arrived, the wraps were ready, and we got some spanikopitas and coffees for the road. Both our wraps were very tasty and certainly filling. When it came time for our afternoon snacks, the spanikopitas turned out to be amazing. I never really liked spanikopitas before I went vegan, but this vegan rendition was amazing -- the tofu/spinach filling was delicious, the pastry was delectable but rather oily, and the dip it came with was the perfect accompaniment. This was a gem of a place and I'll definitely return when in Edmonton.

This is fact was not the case. the puppies where put in a very small pen and you would only get to visit them for not even 5 mins. The pen hardly big enough to fit all 3 puppies was also saturated with pee of which I had to step on to see the puppies. The selection of pottery was very limited and all started at a super high price point. it would have been nice to have some more affordable options. To top it off I wanted to pay and a staff memeber was asking for my personal information half way across the store. I had to ask them to come closer so my information would not be disclosed to those around me. I'm happy the cost of the event is going to help the shelter but this could have been better executed.
