The principal Mrs. Mays hold person grudges against your child and she is not very friendly. This schools densest have enough teachers to meet the needs of their students. They claim they work with students to make them successful but that is not true. Mrs. Mays should be fired because she likes compassion or concern for her students. She say that she is a mom but I guess her compassion is only for her kids. She is very disconnected from her feelings when is comes to others. She told me to just give up on my son. My son enrolled at Primrose School of Park Cities in January 2020. He has attended daycare/school…read moresince he was 9 months old and has never enjoyed a child care center like he does now. He loves going to school every day, he loves his teachers, and has made many friends. Prior to starting, I was concerned with his speech and some of his social skills but after 4 short months he has grown and developed so much and I believe it is due to the environment and curriculum at Primrose. Nicole is super sweet every morning when I drop off, and my son loves her yoga class! The school itself is very clean and the classrooms very clean, colorful, and organized. The parents and families are also very kind! Lastly, we are very thankful that Primrose remains open during this national crisis, as I am a single mom and an essential worker. If it was not for Primrose being available to care for my son as I work, I'm not sure what we would do. I feel safe and have peace of mind as Primrose has made sure to take all necessary precautions to be sanitary and protect the kids and staff!! Thank you Primrose.

But everything has flaws and the flaws of this school is that the nurse does not care if you are hurt she will usually say "I'm on my lunch break so go away" or if you have thrown up she will say "he is not throwing up right now why should I help" and I'm speaking of this by personal experience because a kid I'm my class threw up so the teacher asked me to walk him down to the nurses office and when I got there I told her what was wrong and she said "he is not throwing up right now" but with a attitude and I don't like when people give me attitude so I gave her attitude back and she immediately started to help the kid.

I felt compelled to review Bending Oaks High School after reading Jane T. and Carrie C's reviews…read more Just changing schools is not a fix for any child, but choosing the right one along with support and love at home can make a huge difference. Bending Oaks help save my son. He is an amazing, intelligent kid who was miserable as a sophomore at Southlake Carroll High School. After years of believing Carroll was the best we realized a change had to be made. As Jane T. and Carrie C. suggest, we interviewed, visited and "test drove" the school and my son made the most difficult decision to leave his friends and commute 60 miles each day to Bending Oaks. He has not regretted the decision and nor have we. My Son feels Bending Oaks, help change his life. I agree Bending Oaks is not for everyone and as we found out, neither is Southlake Carroll. With any private school a parent and student should find the best match. I like to describe Bending Oaks as a Dot Com and other traditional schools as big corporations. There is a mutual respect between the "management" and "individual contributors" and all are invested in the success of the school. The proof of Bending Oaks' is in my son. He was a child full of life who completely lost his spark and regained it at Bending Oaks. As a sophomore at Carroll we were afraid he wouldn't graduate. He is a senior now with a great ACT score and has 100% college acceptances one is San Diego State University. SDSU is the most desired and impacted California State University with an acceptance rate of 36%. We are so very proud of our son and so very thankful to Bending Oaks. I find the reviews by Jane T. and Carrie C. not only insulting to the teachers and staff of Bending Oaks but also to the parents and students who trust Bending Oaks every day.
