Mid last year I felt like I was in a slump and stopped going to the gym/ working out for a while. I needed some help getting back to my usual routine. Now I'm five months in as an uplifted member & i'm so glad i made the decision to sign up! From day one, all of the coaches have been 100% supportive no matter what level fitness you're starting from. Shout out to Coach Joe for always helping me correct my form and for being the tough coach that he is!! Also shout out to coach Ashley reminding me that I'm capable of doing the workouts, even when I tell myself I can't. Sometimes we need that extra push to remind ourselves that we're stronger than we think. I definitely would recommend uplifted to anyone who is looking for a fun and friendly community of supportive people who share a common goal. If you're looking to become the strongest version of yourself and make new friends along the way, this is the place to get started.

I've been training with Coach Cruz for about three months now, and it's been an incredible experience. From the start, he took the time to listen carefully to my health goals and created a personalized plan to help me achieve them. Unlike many trainers who might overlook this, Coach Cruz went above and beyond during our consultation to really get to know me and tailor his approach to my specific needs. His knowledge of exercise, proper technique, and programming is top-notch. Every session starts with a proper warm-up and power/dynamic movements. He ensures that I'm performing each exercise with correct form, which has been essential for my progress. What sets him apart is not just his expertise, but his genuine personality--he's easygoing, supportive, and just a great person to be around. I've had low back discomfort, and Coach Cruz skillfully adjusted my training to work around it, making sure I could continue doing the things I love without having to stop. His ability to adapt and still push me forward has been a game-changer. I can't recommend Coach Cruz highly enough. I've already told my family and friends about him! The entire team at Uplifted is warm and welcoming--it truly feels like a family. The sense of community here is amazing. If you're looking for a gym that will help you get closer to your goals, make you feel like a badass, and welcome you into a supportive community, Uplifted is the place, and Coach Cruz is your guy!

Have few months with uplifted and couldn't be more happy to join, in big changes happening and the push the trainers give you. Shout out to coach Joe for the hard work! and also putting me and the motivation I get every time I show up. So happy with results and will continue showing up thank you for the support and push

I've been at Uplifted for about 3 years now and I absolutely love the environment. Before I arrived at Uplifted, i was testing the waters with weightlifting and didn't get serious till I joined Uplifted. I love the progress i have made since I started here. My form is a whole lot better! The coaches and members are supportive and push you to do your best. If you're a newcomer, coaches will show you modified versions of the exercise movement. This gym is not intimidating at all! I definitely recommend this gym if you want to try out weightlifting.

The amount of dust in every corner is the worst. The gym employees basically do a light wipe of the machines. Restrooms pretty nasty, weight racks, etc. Also, my wife and I have supported this business since its grand opening in 2017. We took my 17 year old high-school son for his first ever visit and to request a day pass for him to experience the gym, possibly join. The club manager denied them, 7+ years PREMIUM PLUS member, and informed my wife to pay $20 for a single day pass or he would have to sign-up/commit to check out the gym for the FIRST time. He let them walk out, not even a tour, a member and her kid. Website offers a FREE 3-Day gym-pass w just an email address FYI. Club manager should have gave them this info but did not. These guys or kids should I say, are always about making a buck instead of making good business. Planet Fitness FREE for all high school students 14-19 years of age ALL SUMMER long FYI Same day at 24 Hour Fitness, my son and my wife were given a FREE day pass without any pressure to sign-up and my 17 year old enrolled at 24 Hour Fitness after being denied at our gym. 7+ years members, $20 for a single day pass or sign up lol. Thank you to the club manager for making this a no brainer for my son. As a business owner myself, you should always look after those who have continuously supported you instead of looking for the quick dollar. Lastly, just saw that Fitness 19 pushed over a service charge to the customer of $2.49 EXTRA for processing of your monthly dues. You have to pay to pay them. Only for credit or debit card payments which is required I believe. Nickels and dimes also add up.

I have been trying to find a nice spin class near home and I narrow it down to two places I visit…read moreEvolution second this is my humble review. The Place: There was plenty of parking I love that, my first impression walking in was good the place looked clean and they have a cute lobby area with sofas and magazines. As soon as you come in they ask you to sign a waiver (common in these places) and another waiver for use of photography (if they use your picture to advertise or promote etc.) there was some stuff I thought the other place I had gone too impressed me more but again its whatever your personal preference is. The bathroom was just a regular bathroom no special items in there that stood out (The other place I visit had deodorant spray and face towelettes, hair tie, mints etc. a nice touch) Evolution has lockers that they welcome you to use just bring your own Lock. (The other place had lockers with key pads nice!, one less thing to worry about) The People: The girl who greeted me was ok she was not that friendly (I'm comparing her to the previous place I had visit yesterday), but she was also not rude she was just not as excited as the other places Hostess their energy was high and excited to have a new member vs here I felt to be honest their customer service needs a little help they can't expect everyone to just come in and be sold they have competition out there. The instructor was very nice and professional she volunteered to show me around and offer to help me with the bicycle adjustment. The workout: The bicycles needed a little more maintenance when I tried to adjust it was a workout in itself lol! I was sweating already trying to get my seat and handlebars to where I needed them. Class starts and the first thing that came out was Banda music (head down :P) I'm not a big fan of Banda music its just not something I listened to growing up (cumbias, merengue, Rock, country, alternative etc. I'm open except for Banda) I enjoy all music, but this was not really my thing, so it was difficult for me to connect. Overall good place to workout I was exhausted and felt good, time was not wasted (1 towel was provided nice for when you Sweat, and you will Hot room) oh and at the end of the class they give you a little wet napkin meant to be used to clean bicycle not your face lol! (Red face :P I thought it was a little towelette to freshen up after your workout lol! ) I like details and the little things like having hair ties for their customers and equipment I can adjust on my own this make an impression and makes me feel like they value me as a member. Wish them the best of luck and much success, this is just my experience, but at the end It's not for me.

He is not only a trainer but a motivator! Although it is a class setting, Diego makes it feel like a private session -- he knows everyone's name and sees EVERYTHING you are doing!!! He is truly gifted and his motivational speeches through the workout pushes me to give 110% even when I feel like giving up. I've been with Suicide Boxing since 2010 but due to an accident in 2016 I was sidelined and gained 50 pounds. I was able to return to Suicide Boxing in January 2017 and needed to shed this excess weight. Diego put me on a plan where I had to lose 1-pound per week and weigh in every Monday. The stipulation was if I didn't lose 1-pound a week I owed him 100 burpees or 100 squats. Yes, I owed him a few times :-). I'm happy to report as of January 10, 2018, I've lost a total of 37 pounds, a gang of inches and close to 8% body fat! Check out the pics!!! Diego is amazing and his main message is about living a healthy lifestyle. What sticks with me the most is when he says, "it's up to you -- it's about consistency in the gym and consistency with a healthy diet! And working out 1 hour per day is only 4% of your day!" They blast their music through speakers in shared spaces like the pool area, sauna, and steam room. I have witnessed men scratching themselves inappropriately in public, and the bathrooms are frequently gross and poorly maintained. There seems to be very little accountability for behavior that affects everyone else trying to use the gym. What bothers me the most is how I have been treated when I voice my concerns. When I have brought issues to male staff members at this location, including concerns about being assaulted by a man, I have felt dismissed, belittled, and it seems I am not even being listened to. Women should be able to bring up serious concerns without having their experiences minimized. I pay to use this gym just as much as the men do. I should not have to sit in the sauna, steam room, or pool area listening to someone blast their personal music through a speaker! Other people are trying to relax, exercise, and enjoy the facilities too. It's called respect and basic gym etiquette, and unfortunately, a lot of men at this location do not seem to have either! If you are a woman considering this gym, protect yourself and be prepared to advocate for yourself nonstop! Based on my experience, even when you bring concerns to staff, there is no guarantee that you will actually be heard or taken seriously. That needs to change. THIS GYM NEEDS TO HIRE A FEMALE MANAGER who will validate women's voices and experiences and actually make changes when it comes to men taking advantage of shared spaces and behaving however they want without accountability. I'm not a "Karen" for not wanting to hear a man blasting his music through a speaker in a shared gym space. I pay for my membership just like they do, and I'm just as entitled to use and enjoy that space without being forced to listen to someone else's music. Expecting basic respect and consideration in a shared environment does not make me a "Karen." The only reason I continue going to this gym is because it is open 24 hours and convenient for my area. If an all women's gym were more affordable, I would much rather go there.
