I absolutely love this studio! It's super clean and nice inside which helps bring out the calm vibes during Pilates class. You can tell they take good care of their equipment and cleanliness. Every instructor I've had here were the best and most kind people. I love how they're so present and always offer modifications no matter what you're doing which I appreciate. They will definitely make sure your heart rate goes up in the hour they have you. If there is something hard or difficult for you, the instructors have different modifications to help. After one class I was hooked! All the instructors provide excellent classes, but I recommend Jayden Allen and Jess Davison for instructors who provide corrections throughout the class. They all help, however, but these two instructors are among my favorite! I really like how after every class cleaning wipes are provided to wipe down your machine! What began as a "Let's try this & see how it goes" has turned into a near daily practice. Each day has a different instructor with each instructor calmly walking you through a unique 50 minute routine which challenges as well as lifts, tones and lengthen. And increased strength doesn't diminish the burn. The ladies know how to target key muscle groups that aren't typically challenged by weight training or cardio (like spin class). I decided to give Wild O'Hare a chance since they are local to me and have always been curious about Pilates so I tried their 3 month option 4 classes/month for 125 a month. For one, classes were eh, pretty repetitive but stuck to it cause i committed to the 3 months. I had already decided I didn't want to continue as I didn't see the value. I was told ahead of time (over the phone) that once the three months was up to give them a call and cancel ( i took their Word for it and didn't read the contract). I called them on the same day the 4rth payment went out, I'd forgotten about it but did not think it was a huge deal as i held my end of the contract. Thought, "it's the same day, they'll refund me and go on with my day". The person I spoke to over the phone gave me the hardest time, tried to guilt trip me that they are a small owned business as if my hard earned money grows on trees and then got mad at me for asking for refund when the payment hadn't even completely processed. I called them early in the day, left a msg and sent a txt and didn't hear back and I had to call again. She then tried to tell me "they are not trying to rip people off" which I felt was exactly what was happening by not wanting to refund me, even as a courtesy. It's not the type of place I'd want to do business with in the future simply because of the principle. read more

I have been attending classes at Wild Hare Pilates in Lake Balboa for over a year now and am FINALLY writing a review to let everyone know what a wonderful place this is! Rachel and Talin are the warm, kind, generous co-owners, who also happen to be fabulous instructors. I came to the studio not knowing anything about Pilates, but after the free introductory class and a few session I not only figured it out, I was hooked! All of the other instructors are excellent as well. I like the variety in their approaches, but every time I get a great workout no matter who the instructor is. The studio is cute, clean and comfortable, and I actually enjoy exercising now! I mainly go to the Lake Balboa location because it's close to my house, but I've seen videos of the San Fernando location and that looks beautiful as well.
