Uproot meats are the best there is locally. The chicken taste like they had a happy lifetime with healthy food. The pigs are living a good live before they nourish us. We are very grateful to have the option to buy quality humanely raised meat and chicken raised from our own little town, something that many people around the world take for granted. The chickens are just amazingly good and clean. And the pigs have a good life. Krista and Sonja work incredibly hard to bring this excellent choice to us thoughtful Ashland meat eaters. As with other small organic farmers, we are in their debt for their willingness to tackle SO many huge challenges to get a good thing going.
