Long story short, she was not in good shape when I got home. I found Sylvia and she examined my daughter and immediately recognized the seriousness of her injury, and Sylvia helped me get my daughter examined and treated at a world-class knee and shoulder facility in Vail, where she ultimately underwent extensive reconstructive surgery on her knee. Without Sylvia's timely intervention, her outstanding physical therapy regime, and the help of her entire team of dedicated folks, my daughter might not have walked again without crutches. I will start with the fact that I've never once had a billing question or issue come up, and out of all the contractors Kaiser works with in this area, this is the only one I've encountered that has not ever taken issue with the set up of my plan or how short/long Kaiser takes to pay out on claims. This makes my life SO much easier, especially considering the other Kaiser contractor for PT in this area flat out refused to see me. Appointment scheduling is easy, as is paying copays and any other administrative matters. Hours for appointments are very flexible and allow for pre- and post-work hour appointments which is great. I have been seeing Zack off and on for TMJ pain with my jaw - first as a way to see if PT could help with the constant dull jaw pain I was experiencing at the recommendation of my primary care doctor, and now again as I prep for jaw surgery later this year that was recommended after PT was determined to be not enough to fix my structural jaw problem. Despite me being his only TMJ patient and TMJ not being a common or easily fixable issue, Zack has been incredibly understanding, willing to work with my strange and likely confusing descriptions of pain levels and pain locations, and open to various techniques to help manage my pain levels. He has used dry needling (yes on my face!), ultrasound, cupping, massage, and more to manage and shift the pain that I deal with. When I wanted to return this year after experiencing more pain with teeth movement as a result of my pre-surgery braces, I was taken back as a patient with no questions asked. PTs are booked out 5-6weeks in advance, so if you're new or if your PT leaves and you get shuffled to another, be prepared to wait and wait or get shuffled to another PT, not ideal for consistency. I think it's reasonable that if you're an established patient with a PT, there should be an opening within 2 weeks to see them. It shouldn't be, get an eval, and then we'll put you on a cancellation list and if not, we'll see you in a month or more for treatment. If I hadn't already started with them, I'd go somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend until they can hire more staff or get a better system of being able to balance their patient loads.

My assigned trainer, Addison Huck, worked with me for all eighteen of my appointments. I found this beneficial because Addison would adjust my sessions based upon my progress. Addison is always super positive. which was especially helpful during the first three weeks when recovery is tough. ProActive (Addison) got the best out of me over these six weeks, and I strongly recommend them.

Both are highly competent, knowledgeable, very easy to get to know and they get to know you which helps them understand what you are capable of doing. I was told Kristin would push me which is what I wanted. I have played sports most my life, understand you have to push through certain pain, do what your told to get the results you want. I was surprised to learn only 50% of the patients who go through therapy actually do the exercises given by therapist to do at home in between therapy sessions. I did the exercises even challenged myself at home. My rehab went smoothly. I hit a 120 degree bend in less than 3 months. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain PT, Kristin and Sarah! It was also a pleasure to work with Jason for a bit.

I've been working with one of the PTs, Jen, for a couple months now. I originally came to ASPT with nerve pain from being too sedentary during COVID life. I had several rounds of dry needling which helped immensely, then I worked with Jen to build up some strength and flexibility. Jen has explained every step of each process of my care very clearly and is genuinely excited when I show signs of progress. The atmosphere at ASPT is that of a company which takes care of its employees, who in return take care of its patients. I will definitely return here next time I am in need of some PT.
