And to anyone interested in coming: This is not a megachurch. The building needs to be as large as it is because how else is it supposed to comfortably fit all of its members (I mean, isn't it a good thing so many people come to worship)? There is no ATM in the lobby, I don't know who even said that or why There is no pool on the roof, you can tell from drone views All the staff are very friendly, humble, and happy to help. She never went back and ended up dying of an overdose later on in life. I think of Severns Valley when she relapsed, of course. She really was trying their program and liked it. They cannot get past their noses there to save or help souls. I should know...I grew up in that church but refused to go back when I turned 16 and found a church with the Holy Spirit to attend instead. I still attend that non-denominational church to this day. That was in 1989 that I left SVBC. Thank God I left so I could finally grow in the Lord!

We start the worship service on Sundays at Noon in person and online or through our app. Sunday Services generally last 75 to 80 minutes. You can come dressed up or casual. We have kid's ministry and nursery for the kids. Wednesday Midweek services begin (online and in-person) at 7:00 pm. My Aunt and Uncle brought us to NCC while in town visiting. Our family LOVED it!…read more Our church back home is 3x the size of this church and our previous church had about 7,000 members. Nelson Christian Church is definitely small but they are amazing! We attended the 10am service, which is a contemporary service. We LOVED the music! The band was amazing and played some of our favorite songs! (The 8:30 service is traditional with the old school hymns, which we're personally not really into). Pastor Mark was great! His sermon was really great. We like when pastors include humor into their sermons... it's not so stuffy like the olden days. We just loved how welcomed we were. No dress code. Come as you are. Jeans are just fine. NCC even gave us a first time visitor gift! So super nice! Our kiddos loved the children's Sunday School. (They said they got a snack of a juice box and cookies... which if they raved about because we usually don't let them have sugar.) A new playground was put up and they got to play on that as well. We are so glad we got to attend this church with my Aunt and Uncle! We'd love to return the next time we're in town.
