You've got major stores like Home Depot, Kohl's, and Michael's as well as a lot of smaller stores. Back in my tanning days I was at the South Beach tanning multiple times/week and have enjoyed many meals at Rice & Beans and Papa Lozzi's. Other stores/restaurants include a Panda Express, Bonchon, Chipotle, Keke's, a hot pot place, a nail salon, Nothing Bundt Cakes, a new Indian place, the Post Office, some resale shops, Smash burger and even a daycare. The plaza is huge with several other establishments, but there are also a lot of vacant storefronts. The main entrance closest to the 408 is kind of a nightmare as is that whole side of the plaza. I avoid that end just because it's such a pain in the butt to get out since the exit gets so backed up at times. I usually go out of my way and further down to turn right from an exit without a light or even to the far opposite end where the post office is because there is a light there. Good variety of stores/dining, but a pain to get in and out of. Don't forget to check there are shops behind what you see from the streets. That's where you'll find things like the resale shops and the cigar store. Those on the far back seem to struggle the most to stay afloat.

There's a First Watch, boba shop and a newer Ramen shop that came here last year. They have a good amount of dining options in this area. I usually come here for the boba place, or the Happy Lemon boba on the other side of the shops (on the Tijuana Flats side).

Today, I came out of Barnes & Noble, in my powerchair with my service dog and stopped to look at my map on my phone to get my bearings and figure out where I was going next, when the security guard pulled up in his little golf cart and told me I couldn't be there cuz I had a service dog (on a leash and with the service dog vest on). I thought I heard him wrong so I asked him to clarify and he said I'm going to arrest you if you don't move. Like WTF! The other day I was in the crosswalk and a truck barreled thru the stop sign and nearly hit me and my service dog yet security was no where to be found then and when I did find one to report it he acted like it was a bother for him to even fill out an incident report because obviously cars have the right away even if you are in the crosswalk. I should have been more careful. While I like going to Walgreens, Barnes & Noble, Sprouts, Hobby Lobby, Staples, Ross, Five Below & more. I'm not going back to Colonial Town Center and those businesses will lose my business. I don't feel safe and I feel like the Black Security officers are using reverse discrimination on me because I'm a white older disabled guy in a power chair with a Service Dog. They are protected because being prejudiced against the disabled is allowed in this country and no one cares.

This plaza is well maintained and offers a lot of parking. I came here originally primarily for Sprouts, but have found a lot of great stores and restaurants here. I particular like Adjectives and Barnes and Noble is an old favorite. For restaurants, there are not only plenty here in the plaza, but there are also a lot more in the general area. With all the reasons listed above, this is a good plaza to head towards.

A sushi place is coming soon. It is an easy stroll or bike ride if you lived in one of the nearby neighborhoods. Thus far there seems to be ample parking but things may get hectic once the sushi place opens (if their food is good). I think it would be very cool and family friendly if they turned the land next to Tijuana Flats into a mini park with swings, a slide, etc. for the kiddos. The parking rates are pretty standard compared to other garages in Orlando where you're charged by how long you spend there during the weekdays. Because of the 5k today there was an attendant waving people in and out, which was helpful to keep the flow of traffic between cars and pedestrians going. The pickings were slim for parking spots due to how busy downtown was and there's a selection of parking spots on each floor that are reserved (I assume for residents) so I did have to park on the roof but there's elevators and multiple stairs access to get you downstairs quickly. The stairwell was pretty clean and orderly, which you don't always see in downtown, and there was even signage to point to restaurants and shops!

These are super fun places to hang out for happy hour or to grab dinner and you are sure to see hip clientele dressed to impress. Bur again bring a fat wallet because this kind of company doesn't come cheap. There are a few places in the Thornton Park Central plaza that would fit the budget conscious price range, but they aren't exciting. Starbucks and Tijuana Flats. Tijuana is a fun Mexican joint but nothing unlike any other fast foodish type taco place. Still for those who can afford it Thornton Park central is the place to see and be seen. For those who can't bare the thought of leaving buy one of the condos that sit above all the store fronts. These residences are one the the trendiest addresses in Orlando but whew they are expensive. For everybody else you can park in the Thornton Park parking garage and do some window shopping while sipping that mocha latte from 'Bux.

I remember when they used to be a little Chinese place called Jim-Bo that I'm fresh and delicious Chinese food, now it's some rowing studio I believe, sad to see it go. Small cakes, Menchie's, Tijuana flats, and toasted or among the few that I remember when they were added to the shopping area and are still there. Most of the other shops have changed hands over the years. I also miss the little vintage shop that was there, and Christine's nails. I still love walking around here after shopping at sprouts

Parking is plenty, and most people visit for the restaurants, and of course, Publix. Unfortunately, many restaurants fail within 1 - 3 years, but the current restaurants inside the strip include Marco's, Yami Restaurant, Tacos Andres, and A Brasileria. There is also a pets supermarket and even a liquor store. Taco Bell and Triust are also in this mall. Parking is plentiful, but beware of inconsiderate people parking in the no parking area, especially near restaurants and the liquor store. It's still a decent place for shopping and dining.
