There are so many sales. Honestly at this point I probably go too often. But finding cute stuff at a few dollars is addictive. Everyone is friendly too. The clothes are clean, though sometimes a bit torn or holey so check before you buy. I haven't sold anything so I can't comment on that process but they must not be too picky since the place is always fully stocky. read more

Loved my experience in the bigger space! It was kept really clean, the employees welcomed me upon arrival and they had a good sized men's section. I threw my boyfriend in that section so I could explore, everything was easy to find and the aisles had decent space in between. I ended up finding some really cute shirts for personal and work use. just now NEW I recently tried to work with the business and it was lackluster and horrible customer service! I dropped of items to be reviewed and was told that I would receive a text message with a follow up. I later received a messaging reading , " Uptown Peoria- Your Buy is READY. Offer is $50 in cash or $75 store credit. Please return by 7pm & pick up the items we couldn't use. Questions call 623.428.0171" . I proceeded to call regarding questions on pricing, which the txt advises. Michelle (the owner) picked up and I was taken back in the way she spoke to me! She tells me that she will not answer answer any of my questions and that my concerns will be addressed upon pickup. I came for "rejected " item pick up at 6:05pm and was told there was no one that would be able to assist!!! I work in the Luxury Consignment business and Wouldn't dare handle the smallest items in this matter!!!!!! read more

I was in the area today and decided to stop by and check out this location as I usually shop at the Scottsdale location and this will for sure be the last time I step foot in here. I went in with my husband and two kids. As we shop my son tells me he needs to use the restroom so my husband and him walk to the front to ask if they have a restroom. My son who is 5 gets to the front register a few steps before my husband and asked a older lady if they had a restroom and her response was to SHHHSH him! He comes and tells me what happened so I asked to speak to a manager as I was checking out, turns out she is the owner and her excuse for shushing was that she was busy and he was "loud" and couldn't understand him so her response to that was to shhssh him! I will not be buying or selling to uptown cheapskate again. i called this morning and politely asked if the buy counter was open. the girl instead of saying yes just goes we're really busy. i gave it around an hour and brought 4 bags of clothing in with nice washed, folded, and sorted name brand items such as American Eagle, Hollister, True religion, Zara, urban outfitters and more... we walked in with the bags and stood at the front for a minute no greeting no welcome and the girls at the buy counter (once they saw me) immediately gave eye rolls and mean mugs. we dropped the bags off (they shoved them under the counter) looked around and left the store to give them time to sort through my items. i received a text saying my bags were done and they wouldn't be buying any items...once i picked up my bags they couldn't find them at first only to pull them from the same spot they put them in earlier. my bags were not touched, not looked through and we're still folded in the way i had brought them in! huge waste of time and energy for bad customer service and employees who won't do their jobs. read more

I love the Uptown Cheapskate in Peoria! This store is always clean and the racks are PACKED with a wide variety of clothes. It is very well organized so you can go directly to your size and/or color. I have never come across a garment that was torn or stained. Sometimes I even find new articles of clothes with the original store tags on them.
