David text me that my boat was ready to be picked up. Two days before I picked it up. Firstly,…read morethere were issues with the pricing and amount due at pickup. David had sent me the wrong amount due, overcharging me. So I had to clear it up after reviewing the receipt. Upon launching it, I discovered that my steering was locked up and I couldn't steer the boat on the water. I had contacted David about this and he told me "One of my mechanics told me that when you pulled off." and never contacted me to let me know about it. My steering was perfectly fine when I dropped it off to be fixed. Thus, leaving me stranded in the lake. I had then called David about this to get the issue resolved, after I retrieved my boat back on the trailer, and he told me "It's a 30 year old boat, if you want a better one, go buy a new boat". After commenting a review under a post he made, bragging about fixing my boat, the post was deleted. Further, I had Halls Marine Center fix my shifting issues and fuel vent and had also discovered that, although the parts had been replaced, the issues were still there and not resolved. On the phone with David, he was very rude and unprofessional and I do not recommend this place to anyone. They will let you pull out of the lot with knowing issues on your boat and disregard your concerns, as well as not taking any responsibility for a low quality job.
