As long as you know prior to going in that it's a typical thrift store then you won't be surprised or disappointed. The store is well organized & clean. Shelves of typical glassware, shoes, toys, books and small appliances. Prices were average for the area. Just makes me wonder where all the could be donations from all the construction in the area ends up. I guess it doesn't say anywhere the store has to sell building materials, but that's what I'm used to. Worth a looksie, but not for that small, random piece of laminate you need.

I have furnished 2-3 entire bedrooms using Reruns finds without breaking the bank, and the results are beautiful spaces I love to share with family. I have also looked around at dining sets many times, and I am always tempted. I went a little bit ago and got large pieces of furniture, and the employees were extremely helpful in the loading process to the truck. They even provided free blankets to help cushion the edges. 10/10 recommend.

Patty, her animal rescue mission Patty's Animal Rescue, and this associated thrift shop, A Cause…read morefor Paws, were a priceless resource when I needed help clearing out my loved one's decades of accumulated belongings to make their home presentable for sale. After we met once at the property, located on a dirt road in a remote area, Patty took charge and handled everything necessary, repurposing just about everything in the house, from the old clothes and linens (to be resold or recycled) to the stored food in the cupboards (to feed her rescue animals), to the building materials in the attic and the automotive stuff stored in the garage (to be resold at A Cause for Paws). Patty also found a great junk hauling service and supervised the removal of everything that wasn't reusable. When the house was empty, she and her daughter swept and mopped the whole place and left it ready for sale. She kept me up to date on what was going on the whole time, and asked me whenever she came across something that might be important or meaningful, in case I wanted to save it. Her diligence and integrity are incomparable. I couldn't be happier with Patty, Patty's Animal Rescue, and A Cause for Paws!

When reaching for the door handle I said to my husband, "Get ready, I bet this place smells like my grandma's house." No. It smells like tide pods and dryer sheets. All of the clothes smell freshly laundered. How do they do it? I'm not sure, but about half of the store is clothing and they are all nice and clean, so they must sort through their items pretty intensely before putting them out for sale. The prices were decent, and while I didn't find any special treasures to take home, I would definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Leavenworth.
