Burning for Urban Candle!! I love this spot on Macklind! It is so quaint and has a cozy community feeling. The candles are amazing quality and there is truly a scent for everyone!! I'm a huge candle person, and whenever anyone asks me where to get one, this is always my first suggestion. This visit I picked up Hibiscus Palm for some summer vibes. If you're also into some summer scents, they have a ton! Floral, fruity, and "salt on the rim" which was tempting for me- margarita candle is on brand for me! The owners, Chris and Jim, are some of the kindest people and have a ton of pride in their establishment! It shines through their customer service and kindness they show to each person that comes in the door. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven't done so yet! Burn on STL :)

My pictures are on my phone but I can type a better review on my laptop so I'll add them later. I thought this was just the greatest interactive experience! First of all, great smells and who doesn't love a candle. I have no idea what scents I picked but I knew it was going to smell great no matter what based on the candle. The space was just big enough to accommodate everybody and it was a really nice event. I got to interact with different people and some of the same people I've met before. Charcuterie cups were cute and portable and I downed mine at home while studying. Can't wait to pick my candle up tomorrow and start lighting it up! Wait, this isn't the right statement but I'm so tired from studying for finals that I don't have a better saying.

What a great, locally owned shop! The owners and staff are so friendly and happy to help find the right scent for you! They also take great pride in their candles and are eager to talk about their process and focus on quality and clean burning. There are tons of scents to choose from, from clean to fruity to floral and beyond. They also have the option for you to bring your own containers in and they will fill them with the scent of your choice. Prices are very reasonable for a quality candle. They are also able to host private, small group candle making classes. I was able to do this and had a great time! It was so fun to pick my own scents and pick up my own candle a few days later.

I felt totally at home & inspired by the combination of rock n roll/earthy/artsy vibes the showroom exudes! For lack of a better word, it is just so COOL in there with a big claw foot steel bathtub in the entry filled with super creatively named & fragranced bath bombs, cool music playing & beautiful smells coming from the awesome staff in the back creating these gorgeous, one-of-a-kind products (comparable to LUSH, but with cleaner ingredients from what I understand & much more interesting, beautiful flavors!!) Side note: herbalist on staff! These products are more than just great smells, their healing power is totally legit. I esp love the "Magic Neem" bar soap for my fickle face skin. It's gentle & doesn't strip my face's natural oils. So great! Thank you!!! Xo!

This place has some great scented candles, which I'm totally ok paying top dollar for, but making a guy walk across the street to Schnucks to pee is just not right. What year is it anyway?
