Don't get me wrong, some of the pieces are a bit funky but they do have pieces that would work well for everyday wear. The silver is amazing and I found an interesting bracelet which was heavy with a beautiful clasp. They also have skull rings and edgier items if you like that. It's also really interesting now that they have expanded into the states (although not where I live) to come back and see how it has changed. When I lived here and had no money this was my go to for anything trendy, or needed. When I moved back to America quite unexpectedly I went there to stock up on inexpensive suitcases to pack up my life and carry back across the world. Any fast fashion or trendy items, this was my go to. Needed something for my home that didn't need to be high quality, Primark. I got a job at AllSaints a few blocks away and we were supposed to wear their clothes exclusively, but we only got a 60% discount (that's a big discount but still not inexpensive for a college kid) so I got a lot of my work shoes here and they never noticed. Now that I visit as a tourist, it's my go to for things like I need an umbrella that I can leave behind when I go home, or it's raining and I didn't bring my raincoat with me today...or it's colder than what I planned for on this trip so let me stop by and grab a few pieces of layering clothes or a coat. The Disney selection makes me wonder why there isn't a Primark in Orlando (because they get very unique Disney licensed items). If you don't have a big budget or are in need of souvenirs, I also recommend Primark. But if you're looking for a luxury experience, this isn't for you. If you're anti fast fashion, please just skip this. It's busy and loud and sort of a cattle call at the till, but it's great novelty spot. The layout has shed over the years bit it's still a great spot for cheep gifts, replacing broken or lost items and getting an unexpected suitcase for any souvenirs if you are a tourist (my favorite suitcase going on 11 years was £25 from here & yes we got another this most recent trip) 3 stars because I've definitely had some weird experience here over the years but generally if you go in knowing what it is and what to expect, it won't disappoint you.

They have an extensive selection of shirts, patterns with collar choices & an easy to navigate website. In addition to the shirts what really impressed me was the service. Calls were answered promptly and the agents were knowledgeable and helpful. I made a mistake on size for one of my shirts. No problem as they just made their return/exchange process much easier (& it was). The Classic fit is close to what I'm used to here in the states and I would say ran slightly smaller which was fine with me as at times the shirts from other retailers can be baggy which CT's weren't (without having to go to slim fit). I've found my new go-to for dress and casual shirts and look forward to visiting a store on my next UK trip!

The assortment of inventory is very different compared to the US, and honestly, it's not as good LOL. Also, if anyone knows the "No tag" rule at all TJX Company stores in the US. Whenever you would like to purchase something that doesn't have a tag, they try to give you the best possible price for an item that's comparable to the item. The same thing happened to me with a bracelet, and they tried to charge me 15 pounds for a bracelet that's worth 4. There were many cheaper ones all around, but of course they picked the most expensive one. . . I had to drop a star for that, but otherwise it was a cool touristy experience.

There is something so desperately try hard about the camo vending machines in the lobby of the store, vending, yep, you guessed it, Japanese toys. The same goes for the lone skateboard under a clothes rail as if management have tried to persuade the disillusioned staff to skate around the shop when its quiet (often) to put some cool credentials back into the brand. Maharishi peaked early and their empty store on floral street is the sad scene of their decline. Like many street wear brands, they got away with charging too much for t-shirts for years and have now been harshly discarded in favour of whatever Kanye West is wearing this week.

I was on a mission to stuff my America-destined suitcase with coats galore on my recent trip to London and while we have H&M's here in the States, it's always been my experience that they are a bit better overseas, so I figured I'd go in. As I strolled through the aisles, combed the racks and fondled, tugged and pulled at fabrics, I found an adorable little gold knitted sweater for... 3 pounds. Yes! But a jacket, Stephy, you must find a jacket. Keep your focus, girl! I decided since the first floor was looking pretty picked over and grim that I'd hike the two flights upstairs and see what there was. And there, oh there it was, my new coat. I only saw two of them. One, definitely smaller than the other and from about 20 feet away, I guessed maybe a size 4 and a 12 or 14 for the bigger one aka my new coat. I b-lined it for the coat, only knocking a few tiny hipsters out of the way and clenched it with my mitten covered hands! (Somehow that doesn't sound very menacing with the word mitten in it, huh? Oh well, moving on...) Sure enough, the small was indeed a size 4, off with you silly little person coat! And then there it was my 14 (hey, I eat, I have curves, la la la). I immediately dropped my purse and shed the 17 layers of clothing I was wearing to prevent me from freezing to death in the chilly London air and the coat was on. I did the chick side turn that gives you a peep at your bum to make sure it looks flattering. I did the classic reverse glance neck tilt to make sure my ass didn't look as big as it really is and then I went to button it and... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Missing buttons!! Crap sandwich! But wait? There was that little person coat that I tossed aside with reckless abandon.... Hmm, perhaps that coat had buttons? Sure enough! IT HAD BUTTONS!! And so it was time to plan my discount. My trained shopper mind knew full well that they weren't going to be able to sell this coat as is, which means, discountville!! Hey, it's defective and missing most of the front buttons, surely you can't charge me full price. What say we take the buttons off of the smaller coat and give them to me and then sell me the big coat at a discount defect price seeing as how I will have to sew the buttons on myself? And so I scanned the cashiers and looked for the youngest, most clueless looking one. There she was, blinking like Bambi! I approached her with confidence and gave her my spiel and after she thought it over and asked her manager, what do you know, success, new jacket and 20 new buttons were mine! They have some terrible clothes, I know, you'll pick up a lovely top then realise it has a hideous patch of glitter on it, or pick up a gorge cardi then realise the buttons are already falling off, but sometimes you'll dig out some amazing finds! It's also a great place for 'the basics' like tshirts and vests in every colour. It's one of my first stops for a summer holiday too - lots of handy cheap beach coverups etc. It's not great quality and they're not long lasting garments but then you're not paying much and I've bought loads of really cool little dresses and tops from here. And lots and lots of hats!! I love hats!
