The security welcomes you everytime with a smile . Just make sure you know therapy is down in the lower lobby.. LL. i had a stroke at age 26. one in a million chance ... i started my rehab therapy at lutheran shortly after being admitted. Once released i went to the shore rd center because its closer than 60th for sp[eech, ot and pt. My occupational therapist Romana is as intelligent and knowledgeable as it gets. She knows how to multiply herself when there are more than one patient as well. Her interns are well selected and experienced before coming. I couldnt ask for better people handling my recovery. She did her best to accomodate me with tools, info, props notes for work.. you name it. My physical therapist Lauren is also a godsend. We clicked right away. So professional yet cool. She has her doctrine, whats better? She does pt and helps out patients with other touchy sensitive problems. Evetyone there couldnt be nicer, they all interract great and give advice and wish you a nice night etc. Front desk :steven and jeanette are the best with planning appointments that fit YOU. we appreciate everyone so much, when we make cake at home, they get half of it. After goin since july 2011. I have upgraded 2 canes, walked up and down stairs, treadmill, moved my arm and hand which i thought was never possible, and overall self improved mentally with their guidance. Im back to work now and doing things like walk on a beach in puerto rico(this november) and swim in a pool. couldnt thank them enough. Try them out if your in need of some fixing. oh, and good luck, feel better

I am writing to give a glowing review of a resident dentist at NYU/Sunset Park Dental - Dr. Ryley…read moreBennett. I am 65 years and have seen SO many dentists throughout my life but in 2025 - I first worked with Dr. Bennett which led to a follow-up this past Saturday. Dr. Bennett has the most perfect combination of professionally, complete respect for his patient; very calmly and kindly explaining each part of the process I've ever come across and since I value comedy when in a vulnerable position like that one but - during little breaks - we had a nice connection of an upbeatness that made enduring some of the worst pain-moments a lot easier to endure. When I left my appointment that day and thought about my experience with Dr. Ryley Bennett - my first thought was: "wow - he has quite an incredible future ahead of him..." I definitely look forward to my next visit...

I have had nothing but positive experiences with NYU Langone's 55th Street Hospital. I have been a regular patient at this hospital since I have moved back into the the Sunset Park neighborhood in 2018. I am going to miss this place. I am moving up to the Bronx. Big shout out to the staff at his hospital. I also got fully vaccinated for COVID-19 here.

The doctor literally had her food piled up on the patient's examination table. They tried measuring my height without taking my heeled booth off (despite the fact that I asked them multiple times). They make you stand and wait to see the doctor outside her office, hearing all the sensitive information about the patient ahead of you. I just cannot believe the amount of unprofessionalism and inappropriate conduct of a healthcare office that is not cited by public health. I feel really bad for anyone still receiving services here. How are they even open? How hasn't anybody filed a lawsuit against this private practice office?

The first time we came and learned that their computer failed so all appointments were canceled. Next time we came and there was an equipment malfunction so again, all appointments were canceled. Total loss of time. If they don't know, some people are actually working and have to take a leave from the job to see the doctor. Also, they have a smallest waiting area I ever saw. It's a very small space outside the office right between two doors and you cannot even see a receptionist from there. It's like they do not let you in and makes you wait outside hiding behind the closed second door. Apparently, patients are not good enough or noble enough to stay in one room with office stuff.
