Primo sandwich with gluten free bread, jalapeno chips

I 100 percent recommend Urbano Food Group! UFG is an El Paso gem. These are always my favorite types of places to visit! Their food is always made with love and you aren't just a number. UFG first opened their doors in 2018 in downtown El Paso. I want to say they've been at this location for over a year now...it might be two now. They're El Paso's first ever digital kitchen. This means they get to spend more time on the quality of the food. You won't be able to sit down directly inside of their place of business. It's a tiny kitchen and there's no space for a dining area. However, there's a park across the street or tables on the first floor. You can also park (not in the covered, reserved spaces please...not even for a few minutes! You run the risk of your car being towed, even if you park there for five minutes!) nearby and eat in your car. I was hungry when I went so I did a little bit of that. You can parallel park in front of their place for pickup (call/text 915-244-2048 to pick up your order). You can also get down and ring their doorbell. Whatever you do, don't park in the covered parking at anytime. They're located on the first floor of the building. Go to the back of the building and you'll easily find them. To be honest, I'm not really into sandwiches. However, UFG was a game changer. The ingredients tasted fresh and meshed well together. I tried the gluten free bread. It tasted pretty much the same as regular white bread. I couldn't really tell the difference. I got the primo sandwich which is a turkey sandwich with cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, spinach and tomato. You can also get chipotle mayo in it but I skipped it. I might try it another time. The sandwich was amazing! I didn't know I could get excited over a sandwich but there I was! All of their sandwiches come with chips. I chose jalapeno chips. They were tasty and went perfectly with this sandwich. I have my jalapeno stash at home so I ate one with the sandwich, too. It was perfect! I also ordered an unsweet iced tea with mango slices in it. It was good! I found myself eating all of the mango before finishing the tea. It added a nice, little flavor to the tea. I also got one of their non-dairy/vegan dark chocolate ice creams. It was good too! It tastes similar to Breyer's Low Carb chocolate ice cream. Aside from what I've mentioned, Urbano also carries: smoothies, smoothie bowls, breakfast foods, chicken salad, various other sandwiches and drinks. I think it's a good place to visit if you're working on improving your health. The place is also super clean! It's completely spotless/immaculate. Gilberto the owner is really nice and accommodating. I will be BACK really soon! Consider supporting this Latino/LGBTQ owned business! They also do catering. I would totally consider them for catering! P.S. Order your meal online before showing up at urbanofoodgroupep.com They're on Uber Eats, too.

Decent value and delivery was quick and free. Sandwich tasted great. Great alternative to Subway. Limeade was fresh and refreshing. Will order from again.

So here's the thing Im very picky if you come to my Profile I rarely give 5 stars but this place is in the heart of Central El Paso on Trowbridge street. Drive thru service only which doesn't bother me. Small menu which to me is always best. I had the green detox juice. As I waited for my juice I decided to order a sandwich as well. I ordered the primo and added cucumber and raw jalapenos. Sandwich was very well put together. The Chipotle mayo really married the avocado and bacon. The sandwich came with chips but I don't know if you have the option to just get the sandwich it self. My juice was very good as well. Fast friendly service is what I always like and that's is why I gave them five stars. Not to mention I stay fairly close. Will continue to support

In El Paso for business, ordered the Primo Sandwich with a mango frescas. So good! It's like classic home made sandwiches with a zesty twist! So yummy and very attentive to detail, so cute and clean! For sure would recommend! Yum! #FinishIt

Clasico sandwich- pretty good. Fresh limeade-amazing!

Had the clasico sandwich.. it was pretty good. When I go away from the house to have a sandwich, I'm looking for something amazing... good bread.. something unique. The toasted bread was nice and crisp but something that I have at home... Fresh limeade was amazing!!!!

Delicious Urbano Sandwich served on the croissant!

Am I a glutton for food and punishment? Yes, I am... As a…read moremom making 1k+meals daily for picky kids, when I get a chance to "run errands" and pick up food, I'll get as much variety as I can. Filipino and Mexican food today. In the spirit of eating good and supporting local, I made a U-turn and got some tacos on the way home from the Eastside. Taquizas Los Pistoleros is right off the 10 Freeway and they're always dependable for delicious tacos. If you're gonna get any type of food you need to transport, why not pick a place known for their catering? I swear they package everything so well and beautifully, it's like dining in. The last time I went there, they had a 5 taco special with a small drink for $5. Now they have 4 taco special with large drink for $7.95. It's still a huge amount of food, no matter the price changes, so I didn't mind. I specifically went on Sat. because some people said that I had to try their Al Pastor as well as their Barbacoa on the weekend. Omg they were right. The Al Pastor was soooo flavorful and the chunks were huge so you could taste the seasoning as well as their pineapple chunks. Definitely get these. Their Barbacoa was soft and fatty. Really tender meat, not dry. I'm a fan. I got their limeade as a drink but hubby stole that too. Chris came out and took my order and I guess he recognized me from my posts, because he gave me some quesabirria to try. I've tried quesabirria at a truck at the Taco Shop Barbacoa y Birria Estilo Sinaloa, and it was really nice, very flavorful. I liked the consomme there. I've tried it at the food truck rally at Placeres Culposos and their actual tacos held up a lot better when dipped than other places. Taquizas Los Pistoleros quesabirria is a good version as well. They definitely give you a lot more cheese...and the consomme is more like a salsa. Thick with a kick. I wanted to support his business and saw that the restaurant was asking for donations to help his Tia with expenses since their breadwinner passed, so I have him some cash. I didn't realize it was a raffle for a huge catering plate! So if you want to do something nice and maybe win something, check out their FB PAGE and enter there. They deliver all over too since they're smack in the middle of El Paso and their family meals can't be beat! Support good food, support regional tastes, and #supportlocal! When i received my food i noticed they put 5 fries and when i asked about the potato they said they ran out and "upgraded" to fries. The brisket was perfect with a great salt and pepper bark, juice meat with some great marbling. The Habanero sausage was pretty mild but had just a little kick while allowing the fruity notes of the habanero come through. The sides were also excellent as was the complementary corn bread. This is the barbecue that does not need the sauce it's that good! Service was really good. Considering what they are doing here with regards to helping homeless people get back on their feet it was excellent service. The staff are all polite and friendly and all seem to be happy to be there. The decor is pleasant with lots of pictures and decorations like the wooden Stars and Stripes flag, longhorn horns and a mounted pheasant. If you are in El Paso and looking for great BBQ. I highly recommend you try this place out.

Thick slices with a beautiful smoke ring, deep flavor, and that perfect balance of tenderness and structure. It was juicy without being greasy, and the bark had just the right bite. The brisket sandwich was equally satisfying. Simple, honest, and generous, with crisp onions and a soft bun that let the meat shine. The ribs had great flavor, but were a bit on the dry side during this visit. Still enjoyable, but the brisket definitely stole the show. Sides were a mix. The green beans were outstanding. Easily some of the best I've had at a barbecue spot. Full of flavor and clearly cooked with care. The beans and cornbread were solid and comforting. The coleslaw, though, didn't quite stand out and was the only item I'd probably skip next time. The space itself adds to the experience. Open, casual, and unpretentious. It feels like a place focused on doing barbecue right rather than trying to be trendy. FYI: You order first & they bring out the food to you. Overall, Hallelujah BBQ is absolutely worth visiting, especially for the brisket and those green beans. I'll definitely be back.
