I'm not sure what the owners had in mind when they decided to name their place "URBN", but I sure hope that the omission of the letter A wasn't due to a misspelling error. The interior of URBN is a mix between classy and grunge, which I think suits the environment quite well. To get inside, you'd have to queue up between being on the guest list and being a VIP (which means buying a table). When my friends and I decided to go to URBN, we immediately realized that we really didn't want to pay for a table, which cost upwards of P4,000 for a table. We called a few friends to find out the name of the owner, and after a few phone calls, we had our ace. We dropped the owner's name and they let us in, without question. The drinks were a bit pricey (as with all bars around the world), but you really pay for the experience of being there, and having a good time with your friends.
What most people don't know is that URBN is also a kitchen; they open for dinner as early as 6:00 PM, and I hear they serve a really good steak. Maybe when the bar scene gets too old for me, I'll revisit URBN for a nice dinner with my wife and kids. read more
