And that's where the good ends…read more The on staff nurses had a real problem drawing blood and after several times trying (and mangling my arm and hands) they finally sent me to the phlebotomist on Chase. She was able to take my blood in minutes. If you need blood work, do it at Chase location and don't even bother with the Frost Road office. I did my Annual Physical and when my Lab results came back they FORCED me to do a virtual visit to go over the results. Not a phone call, an actual Telehealth visit. This means I HAD to make a co-pay, just to get results of labs for an annual physical! Then they made me wait over 30 minutes for the virtual visit! When going over my labs, the doctor repeatedly suggested medication for slightly elevated cholesterol levels (borderline high) even when I repeatedly said I wouldn't take medication unless absolutely necessary. And to provide me with other options (watch-and-wait approach) with the chance to check back in 3-6 months. She checked if my insurance covered the medication, even when I said no. Ran numbers to check if I would be eligible (based on age etc). I again said no. I felt I truly had to advocate for myself and it became confrontational because she would not listen. It seemed like she was getting some sort of kick back or bonus for prescribing medication because that's all she seemed to want to do. I already made HUGE lifestyle changes in the past year resulting in almost EVERY other number changing for the positive significantly. From 35lb weight loss, to reversing pre-diabetes, to 108 point drop in triglycerides and a 15 point increase in HDL!!! All through diet and exercise! Still the doctor seemed hellbent on prescribing medication I didn't necessarily need even when I asked if there were more natural ways to do the same thing (There are several). She had zero interest in providing nutrition / diet that could lower the LDL levels. She did joke about cutting carbs, but she kept returning to medication. It truly became frustrating. She also wanted me to do tests that made no sense and were quite expensive given the numbers she provided when compared to a year ago. Again this felt like money grabbing and finally I said enough is enough and left the practice in search for a lifestyle doctor who won't be so quick with the prescription pad and listen to my concerns. All in all I truly felt like she was interested in money, prescribing medications, and NOT actual sustainable natural health of her patients.

She made a tentative diagnosis that it took multiple months and appointments with specialists to confirm. She was SPOT ON! The office staff are wonderful, friendly and on top of everything. I went in today 10/23/25 for my first appointment I got to the office at 8:33am after having issues finding the office which I told to the 3 receptionist (Hallie, Brianne and Laura)who immediately started being upset that I was late. My appointment was for 8:40am they then said they don't think I can be seen dispute it still being before my appointment time due to me not coming in with the paperwork filled out. I was told the paperwork would be mailed to me prior to this 1st appointment, which did not happen and I told them this as well and they act like I was lying. Laura the receptionist said she had to ask the doctor if she will still see me but she didn't think they would. She then started to go to the back office I then asked her for the contact information for corporate because this was just crazy and did not sound like a policy. So I asked for a copy of this policy. I waited until 8:55am when the office manager Latoya came out and I spoke with her telling her most of the issues along with the way I saw them treat different patients. Example- Another patient came in and didn't complete her paperwork and she was told she can see the doctor and bring the paperwork back before she leaves. I was then told to return to the waiting room until she sees if the doctor can still see me. My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Hulinska. I sat in the waiting room until 10:24 am and went to the receptionist desk twice requesting them to call the office manager Latoya to see if I can be seen. At that time Laura the receptionist asked me for my Id and insurance card (which no one did from 8:33am when I arrived) I asked if I would be seen I was told probably. I then asked for the office manager Latoya so I can know if I'll be seen before giving them my insurance card and I'd. The office manager Latoya came out at 10:33am told me they can not see me today, and rescheduled my appointment today 11/7/25 at 1:40pm and handed me a copy of the no show policy which she was trying to use to justify why I can't be seen for me appointment today. I told her this isn't correct because I didn't miss my appointment I am here. Latoya the office manger then became upset and told me I am antagonizing and confrontational due to me asking about the policy I was given. Latoya then became more upset when I said what they are doing is wrong to have me sitting all this time to then say they can't see me and give me a no show policy. Latoya then told me that maybe I should go to another office as she don't think they can't care for me there. I then said I never said that as I have not gotten out the waiting room so I asked if she is saying that she plans to cancel my rescheduled appointment on 11/7/25 at 1:40pm she said no. I then requested a copy of my current appointment that I was told by Latonya that they canceled and she went through the roof and said no she can't give that to me as it's their document as I am not a patient. I was then told by Latoya the office manager that she will have me removed from the waiting area and that she was going to cancel my rescheduled appointment, which she then did. Latonya then proceeded to call 911 at 10:33am and told them that I was a threat because I took her picture. Officers came and I told them what happened Latonya spoke to them in the back and I asked for a case number. Someone needs to look into this so call practice they are horrible, rude, unprofessional, nasty, and don't follow any kind of policy that they can't give to you in black and white. I warn everyone stay away from them they will do more harm. Please look at the reviews I wish I did before I went to the office. A month and a half ago I was ill and couldn't get into my pcp but new i likely needed an antibiotic. I scheduled an appointment online, showed up and did not have to wait long. much to my surprise it was and video visit. The staff was super nice and explaining to me that if I wanted to go to a different doctors location they do have physicians but at that day they did not. But when they explain to me the process- they have a machine that lets the doctor hear your heart, your breathing/lungs, etc I felt completely confident with an video visit. Technology is truly amazing. As I suspected the doctor told me I had bronchitis, called me in medication, but also recommended that I follow up with the lung specialist who is a part of docs but in a separate office upstairs. if anything I thought he was more thorough than any doctor I have seen in person. Fast forward now, the lung doctor upstairs, Dr Larry was able to give me the kick in the butt I needed to quit smoking after 24 years. Today with my follow up and I went down to the docs urgent care where Amelio helped me to the phlebotomist- super friendly hard working gentleman! they have a phlebotomist on site, she did excellent as well, didn't even hurt. Upstairs staff is so friendly and kind as well. I also believe they do a variety of other things like primary care, chiropractic, and possibly more. Nice to have Doctors Who is all in one spot. highly recommend, wether you're sick, just need a Covid test, or any other urgent matter. Also I should add with the video visit doctor I was only charged my regular doctor co-pay for the appointment, not my urgent care amount which was great, I saved $30. highly recommend.
