Our dog had a post neuter abcess due to infection. We brought him in, and the medical assistant that greeted us was very friendly and gentle with our dog, Rocky. Soon after when the doctor came in, she was warm and friendly as well and got on the floor with our dog to help to calm him. From beginning to end everyone there was knowledgeable and warm. While we were waiting for dog to be looked at under sedation, they texted pictures periodically to calm us and let know he was ok. Our dog was well cared for during this traumatic time. Took my dog to for an emergency check. They couldn't locate anything but prescribed him on steroid. Same symptoms a couple days later so I took him to our regular vet, diagnosed a pretty bad ear infection. Isn't this a basic protocol for vets when dogs in particular are admitted for excessive scratching around theirs ears as something I mentioned??? Another business that only cares about the $ and obviously not my dog. read more

Fantastic!!! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Emergencies never seem to happen at convenient times, so after being turned away from my current vet, who obviously is no longer my vet now after what happened at East Roswell Vet, I found this place close by an able to fit my puppy in. I told them what had happened and they quickly explained to me what they needed to do and thankfully it worked! My dog threw up the foreign body, and she's all good now! They fully disclosed the charges before anything was done. They were quick, efficient, extremely friendly, and got us in so fast. They even have beverages and snacks for pet owners in the lobby. The place is super clean, and I felt the charges were not at all bad considering what had happened. I seriously wish they did general veterinary care, but they only do more emergent stuff like what happened to my poor puppy today. I am so thankful for them, and the wonderful staff here. After our cat showed symptoms of an ear infection by shaking his head and not allowing us to touch his ear we made an appt online to see the vet. Our male ragdoll has been dealing with ear infections for 6 months and I was getting frustrated with my regular vet who kept giving us antibiotics. This office was fast and efficient and within a few mins of being seen the vet identified the root cause as fleas. Our cat has never gone outside so we never had that issue before. I was surprised to find out that fleas will hide in the ear and bite causing an infection. We are not sure where he got fleas but so thankfully the underlining issues was identified so quickly. We have been taking him to another vet for over 6 months and spend a lot of money to continue to treat an infection rather than getting to what is causing these infections. They even did surgery to remove and infected area. If we had known earlier it would have saved our fur baby a lot of pain and meds. I highly recommend this vet location and is glad they solved the mystery. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID! DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Took my sick dog in for GI problems and before the vet even examined him, they had given me a "treatment plan" that cost $1,400. They had "home treatment" already filled out without even knowing what the problem was. Once I declined certain tests and prescription food (he's already on a allergy diet food plan), the vet became apparently annoyed and told me "best of luck to you" condescendingly as she walked out of the treatment room. Her "evaluation" consisted of listening to his heart beat and that cost $130..... there's no way. They wouldn't do bloodwork on him since I declined other services. Sent us home with an antibiotic without even knowing what the problem was. Tried to sell us an anti-vomiting medication when he wasn't even vomiting. Then tried to sell 15 individually wrapped probiotics in a ziploc bag that were obviously samples that even said "not for individual resale" on them. Told me to give him chicken and rice as a bland diet after I told them he's allergic to chicken. The vet tech was nice but if I could give ZERO STARS for the vet and the visit as a whole I would. read more

I brought my dog about 15-20 minutes before closing. My dog ingested some medication and I was in a panic trying to get him help as soon as possible. Both the woman at the door and the vet's first words to me was that they were closing up. They were more concerned with going home than my dog's health. They brought me in just to have me waste time for them to tell me I needed to take him to an ER vet. They could have told me this to start with, so I could get my dog help sooner. The vet also said he wasn't acting any different than my other dog. By the time I got him to the ER he was in rough shape as it was. Thankfully he is going to be okay, but he needed help right away and they ignored that. The ER vet said that his outlook was solely based on how quickly I was able to get him there. So, the additional time could have put him in a better spot. But there was no urgency, no compassion, and no concern for safety when I knew he had consumed something dangerous. read more

As soon as my husky entered the waiting area, he let out a huge howl and started talking to one of the employees there, Katie. Zeus is normally never THAT vocal when he meets someone for the first time and that howl is usually reserved for close friends and family. Animals know when coming across good people. I wasn't sure about the place originally, as there weren't any reviews, but that howl and Katie's welcoming composure reassured me that we were exactly in the right place. After leaving the waiting area and checking into the iPads (so cool), we proceeded to wait in one of the rooms, where Katie made Zeus SO comfortable and did all the checks she needed to do. I wasn't sure if he was going to behave well, but Katie was great at reading dog behaviour and took her time and gently eased my husky into things. Eventually, Dr. Shannon Turner came into the room to tell us the plan of care and she was honestly amazing and did a great job updating us. She would come into the room with every step and throughly explain. At one point, my husky was being a husky and was being dramatic and howling when he was getting an X-ray when they were inducing vomiting. We knew that it was just Zeus being Zeus, but Dr. Turner came in later to reassure us that he's doing great and he's just being a husky. They even offered us coffee and snacks while we were waiting. I really loved this place and I know Zeus loved it too. If you're reading this and were unsure because of the lack of reviews, GO TO THIS PLACE. It's amazing and they're SO CARING. It's also incredibly clean. I don't usually write reviews, especially reviews as long as this one, but because it's a new business and they were outstanding, I felt like I had to review it. It's clear that place is just in it for the money took my dog that needed about three stitches or four going to charge $900 and something left with open wound and still got charged 200 and something dollars and still have to go to another vet it's clear they do not care about your pet no matter how they act they're just in it for the money I hate for something bad to happen that needed more than a few stitches they will rob you of your money without using a gun and your animal will still suffer they don't care about the animal just the money read more

I took my dog , Milo here on a Sunday because he had an infected tooth . He had a horrible odor coming from his mouth, he was lethargic and just plain miserable . I was visibly worried about Milo when I arrived. Sam took me back and made me feel better about the situation . It was evident that the infected tooth would have to be extracted . I was really worried and scared about the procedure and cost , but Dr. Bennett cared more about my sweet Milo's health than he did about fees and expenses . He worked out an estimate with me that would cover everything that would make Milo better and that I could afford even though he might not make a penny off of it that day. I can't recommend Dr Callaway & her whole staff enough! We were seen after my dog was injured; they bandaged and triaged us until we could schedule surgery with our primary vet. We came back the day we had surgery to have them bandage again (my vet sucks at that, i guess). They took amazing care of us even after we bloodied their building.
