    Bets remove teeth without permission
    Diane R.

Extracted 5 teeth from my dog when they only had permission to extract 1. They called after the X-rays and examination to say 4 more teeth had deep pockets and need extraction. They said because he was 11 yrs old he should also have renal testing. I said DO NOTHING MORE to my dog, just clean his teeth which he was brought in for. The Dr. Then tried to sell me on some gel to be put in the spaces. I again said do NOTHING More. WHEN MY HUSBAND went to pick him up, they had extracted 5 teeth. They charged $748.00. Money must have been their main motive NOT the well being of my dog DO NOT TRUST THEM. I have the paper work to prove what I have said. I could wrote more but hopefully, this is sufficient

We have had dozens and dozens of experiences at Cumming Veterinary Clinic over the years. I have interacted with most every employee there. I've never felt so at ease and had such complete trust in a vet before. -THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF- These folks can make or break a practice. They have all been kind and as accommodating as possible. They are competent, well trained, professional and have been flexible on scheduling. Your call will never go to VM while the office is open. They always follow up on my pets when they're sick. The only time they couldn't accommodate me is when my dog was literally dying at 11AM on a Saturday and and they referred us to the emergency vet in Roswell. They explained they close shortly and my dog will require an extensive workup and treatment. In retrospect, I do understand this. -THE VET TECHS- They are awesome! They're a great resource on those questions you have that don't necessarily require a vet. Like when my new puppy chases my cat. They gave me several tips on that and many other day to day questions. They are gentle, yet firm when they need to be with my pets, and always explain what they do while they're doing it. -DR. FITZSIMMONS- He is one smart guy! He helped guide us through my dog MJs cancer struggle and her death. They put her down for us. I received a handwritten letter from the Dr telling me we did the right thing for my MJ. It's so hard to figure out the right time to say goodbye to a faithful friend. That letter helped a lot. Cats are fickle creatures. They hide their pain and can be a diagnostician's worst nightmare. And Dr. Fitzsimmons helped diagnose an extremely rare condition in my cat. My kitty is one of only 3 cats in a prestigious ATL neurosurgeon's career to have surgery to repair a herniated disc. Dr. Fitzsimmons ordered the right tests in the right order, keeping us in the boat as far as costs at each step. The list of possible reasons why my cat was screaming at the top of his lungs like a Halloween cat, didn't want to move and had no visible injuries was LOOOOONG. All kinds of illnesses, internal injuries. It took him a handful of tests, blood work, kidney ultrasound. Then instinct I suppose caused him to skip a dozen other more likely causes and to go to the bottom of list to "herniated disc". That just doesn't happen to cats. Once he narrowed it down to a herniated disc, he "knew a guy" who could save my kitty's life. He's seen our animals for a host of minor ailments not as serious as cancer or a spinal injury. Cat fight injuries, stomach problems, incontinence. You name it. He also helped us understand how my cat couldn't be an indoor/outdoor cat. I'd always thought "cats will be cats and they're happier with access outside." He calmly explained what age cats lose night vision and that my cat, still cocky enough to think he could win any fight, was now completely blind at night and will be killed. That was tough to accept, but his logical explanation without judgment or emotion helped us to understand. We think the world of him. -DR.MARTINEZ- We have seen Dr Martinez several times when Dr Fitzsimmons (our "regular" vet) was booked. (Tip: Dr. F is booked. A lot!) We've got to know Dr. Martinez and he's a great vet too! He did our new puppy's first visit and has seen her ever since. I truly have no preference between Dr. F and Dr. M now. You can't lose either way. -BOARDING- their boarding prices are reasonable and you can bring your pets toys if you like. They will feed them whatever food they normally use. Or you can bring your own. One thing to be aware of, if you don't send a bed your pet will lay on a towel, not a cot. I wish I'd known that years ago when my arthritic dog had to be boarded. I probably wouldn't use CVC for boarding only, but I'm perfectly fine with my pets staying overnight for medical reasons. I trust them. It's just a facility thing. Overall, you will not find a finer group of people to look after your pet. My husbands job might be moving to another state. I told him "sorry babe, I can't move. We'll never find another vet like this."

Thanks for taking care of our pups !

Disgusting customer service. Total rip off . Beware. People who talk mean to their customers is not somewhere you want to bring your pet.

Lori is the sitter I use and she is outstanding. Recently I was away on business and received a call from Lori. Normally she sends pictures and videos of my precious Boomer. When I received a telephone call I was surprised. This time Lori seemed worried. She told me that she noticed a little blood around Boomer's paw. I really did not think much of it; I know he loves to play a lot and that he loves to scratch his post. However, Lori was adamant that something wasn't right. I thought maybe she may have been overreacting when she insisted that he be seen by a vet. Lori was already booked for the day, but managed to change her schedule to take Boomer to his vet - thank God she is so vigilant! Had we waited much longer, Boomer may have acquired an abscess. His nail had grown into his paw (shame on me for not trimming his nails) and was beginning to become infected. The situation was so serious that my vet did a minor surgery to make certain my baby was healthy again. Lori not only dropped him off at the vet, but also, made her next appointment on time, then returned to bring Boomer (cone on his head and all) back home. I flew home to be with him immediately. This business is exceptional, the level of care, outstanding. I cannot thank Lori enough for going over and above for my Boomer. I am forever grateful to her and I refuse to use anyone else!!!

Each visit Lori sends texts, videos and/or photos, which is reassuring when I'm missing my fur babies. Best of all, my cats like her. They typically take time to warm up to new people, but not with Lori. I can't recommend her services enough.
