There are some commendable people who work here - one or two at the front desk…read more(others are snooty and a pain the rear), almost every nurse I've seen is great, and the large majority of the nurses in the infusion center are wonderful. Others are easily offended if you dare to ask questions or disagree with any little thing. The problems: The phone system makes me want to NEVER call them. The first sign its a huge corporation is you have to call a dang call center, recite your information every time, and then leave your message. They then call the center you're seen at and the appropriate person will call you whenever they feel like they can. If you are unfortunate to miss the call, you will get a generic message to call them back and the whole things starts all over again, even though they could have left you a message about what you specifically ,called about. I'm old school, and I despise all this runaround. They employ enough staff - have someone actually answer your phones at the office! This problem of making a (often sick) cancer patient come in a day before their treatment to have their blood drawn - EVERY TIME. When you're receiving chemo, this is a lot. Please organize yourselves better to take the blood of the patient you're seeing that day. Lately, I've also been charged by Renown, so they don't run all their own blood anymore. Quit making life difficult rather than easier for cancer patients. There are many other things I could mention, but this would be novel instead of a review. You have to be your own advocate here or they will walk all over you, your wishes be damned. You will not be given many, if any, solutions to the problems and pain that arise with treatment. Finally, the doctor. Ahhh, well, one example: I asked a question about severe pain I was having, and she replied "Oh, if it was that you'd already be dead." This describes in a nutshell her bedside manner. If you're looking for more than a "by the book, this is how you treat this type of cancer," you're out of luck here. If you refuse a particular treatment, you're almost treated like a child who has been bad. I think they forget just whose body this is you've been paid quite well to treat. I don't expect you to work miracles, but if a treatment has caused a reaction, yes, I expect you to treat it, not send me to urgent care. My hell. My prognosis isn't good, but I'm still alive, and I have choices, and I'm doing my best. Now, do yours, CCS. You know you're not.

All your classes like yoga, spinning, Tai Chi and HIIT training are on the 3rd floor. There's a 7 level parking structure with minimal walking and badge access on the door. Our experience on the medical-surgical floor was appalling. My family member was placed in an…read moreextremely cramped room with two elderly homeless patients from a shelter who were belligerent, fighting, screaming, and yelling at staff. One used a bedside commode only inches from her bed. The environment was chaotic, frightening, and completely lacking in privacy. After we requested a different room, she was left in a public family waiting room for more than three hours. Basic requests for water and assistance with painful, bloody IVs were repeatedly ignored. Nurse Camille was rude, confrontational, and dismissive of legitimate medical concerns. When we attempted to escalate those concerns, Charge Nurse Grace supported Camille rather than helping us obtain appropriate medical attention. Most disturbing, Grace repeatedly refused and physically blocked our attempts to speak with the House Supervisor. She told us, "He will not come down for this. He is going to follow my leadership." She also responded to our concerns with, "It is what it is." A charge nurse should help patients access the appropriate chain of command--not stand in the way of it. The lack of compassion, professionalism, privacy, and concern for patient safety on this medical-surgical floor was shocking.

She included saying that they think they have determined that my portion of the co-pay would be $1400 and if I pay it all today, then they knock off 200. I did that by credit card for the air miles. Turns out I overpaid them a lot and they owe me a refund. It's July 21st, 2026 and the surgery was in March. They received payment from my insurance and cashed that check to pay for the surgery in May. I know this from all the calls I have been making and each time, they say "wait two weeks". The account has been flagged "high priority" and still not reimbursed. Myra said that they legally have up to one year to keep my deposit for the surgery. So my suggestion is do NOT pay the large deposit. Pay nothing (they ask the manager to allow that and usually do). Or pay a very, very small deposit and wait for them to bill you your copayment. Then after you pay from billing, it's done. No phone calls saying "wait two weeks" for months at a time.

I have three referrals from the VA to this place. I'm going to cancel all three and go elsewhere.

The eye lids were drooping and when he was tired one would cover his vision. Dr. Ko did the surgery on both lids to lift them. We felt comfortable with this doctor right away and I was taking care of my husband after the surgery. Everything went well, the only thing was, my husband told me, he never wanted to go through that again. There was a lot of after surgery care and healing. But now you can not even see the cut marks on each eye lid. He was happy with the outcome and the follow up visits. The doctor was informative and good at what he does. We would recommend him to anyone of any age if they have drooping eye lids. If you have this problem it can get worse as the years go by so he decided it was time.

He is very good at what he does and walks you through the process of a minor eyelid operation. I really didn't want to have to go through this again after the first time going through it in November 2023. All is well now and I'm hoping I don't have to return but if I do, it's a good place to go.

In total I was there for maybe two hours, and that includes going through a CT test and waiting for the results. I know that days and times vary with each different individual and someone may not have the experiences that I and my family have had. But I know for a fact that this is the hospital for us. The entire hospital is so beautifully decorated, clean, and quiet. Also, have you tried their food from the Cafe? If not, please do so. I highly recommend the rosemary with lemon chicken breast.
