Wish I could give my makeup job I received zero stars. I'm shocked at the good reviews. I had my makeup done for a wedding in June. It was such a horrible experience from beginning to end! First off, Ursula is a know it all. If you say you don't like something or just want to check your face mid service to make sure it's going in the right direction she gets very defensive and annoyed. I finally felt so uncomfortable, I just let her finish, paid my $150 and went back to my hotel completely upset and had to redo & fix my makeup before the wedding which was a total waste of my $$!! My make-up looked horrible! I have had my makeup done professionally numerous times as I'm in the entertainment business and I was appalled at what I received. Do not spend your money here!! Review for services on April 7 & 9, 2016 Had a facial with Elena a few days before my wedding and as I expected she did not disappoint. After the facial, I felt rejuvenated, like I had a youthful & refreshed face. Clogged pores were excreted and dead skin cells whisked away. Followed by facial massage with a tingly, minty moisturizer on my face... Ahhh‼ Two thumbs up for another great facial.... On my wedding day, Ursula served as my makeup artist. And her artistic talent was greatly appreciated and shined through. And the proof was in my beautiful wedding photographs as well as the compliments & gazing eyes of my husband. An airbrushed, natural look with soft, light color bursts for my eyelids, cheeks & lips. I am a supporter of airbrush make-up.. And the makeup was long lasting. Amazing. I had planned on going here for a facial based on the positive reviews, when a Rue La La special popped up. I immediately purchased the deal for a custom facial and scalp or arm massage. I chose scalp obviously. Why would you want an arm massage over a scalp massage? Elina and Ursula were both super friendly. There was a mix-up about my appointment time, but the staff was quick to offer me an appointment for the next day, and a complimentary eyebrow shaping. I haven't taken them up on that yet. Elina took me back to the room and had me sit on the table while we discussed my skin issues. She made some immediate suggestions and took careful notes. She said she would analyze my skin during the facial. The facial and the scalp massage were fantastic. I was so relaxed, I almost dozed off. The smells of the different masques she used were delicious. One of them smelled like chocolate which was heavenly. After she finished she chatted with me about my skin and gave me some advice to keep it healthy. She didn't try to sell me anything, but recommended some home treatments, and some brands that she likes. I went to the drugstore right after so I could follow through with her advice. When I left she gave me a hug and recommended I return every season. The next day my friend noticed that I was glowing, and I noticed that my pores were smaller and cleaned out. Ursula and Tamika were so welcoming!! Offered something to drink upon my arrival and then moved into the studio. Initial consult - $55 (each follow up is $37). I am willing to pay money for the perfect eyebrows and Ursela was able to find my natural shape again!! All with tweezing, no wax to droop the lids. Worried that it wouldn't collect every hair at first, but she knew EXACTLY what she was doing. My eyebrows and what they do: left eyebrow grows up, the other down, too thin, too short, I have one I prefer people to start with, (there's more...). Wholly cow, she knew exactly "my story" before I could even speak! That is a first- seriously understood every part of my grandmother's genes. She took her time with everything ensuring the best natural brow shape. It opened my eyes like I haven't seen them since my last esthetician who moved to MI in 2003. Yes that long. Not only was Ursula hilarious and welcoming, but I will be back for other services as well. I actually got so consumed asking about them, I forgot to write my tip when I signed my CC. Big NO NO. I rarely give 5 stars, so this is SERIOUS. I've been looking for the right person to tame my brows for quite awhile. I did a yelp search and finally settled on Ursula. I had been growing my brows out for quite a bit- and knew they needed some shaping. I made an appointment for a Saturday and when I arrived I was immediately greeted by Ursula and the receptionist. Everyone was very kind and I immediately felt welcome. It's a small studio, so I was the only customer there, which I also really liked. I thought by eyebrows were looking like Audrey Hepburn, but Ursula showed me I was more "Bert (form Bert and Ernie) than Audrey" and after getting some eyebrow education from her- she was damn right. The thing I liked most about the experience is that she did one eyebrow first, to show me how my current brow was shaping my face, making it look wider and sorta angry. So she does the one eyebrow and they you look in the far away mirror at the one side of your face (the before) and then you look at the other side (the after). It was really amazing. The shape she did lifted my eyes up and made my face appear more oval instead of wide and circular. The initial brow shaping for a first timer is $55, which I consider to be a good investment. It is an investment in yourself- and it something that comes with immediate results. People have already commented to me that I look more awake and brighter, or the simple "You look nice today!" without knowing what simple change was. I'd recommend her to ANYONE that needs some brow help. read more

Elina was amazing the facial itself was superb and the massage that went along with it relaxing and stress relieving. Also I received something that have never received during a facial an EDUCATION! Elina instructed me about the dangers of the sun and how important SPF is also gave me some great and inexpensive was to make all natural masks and exfoliants at home. I feel like I finally know my skin after 28 years. Ursula herself was wonderful and made me feel so at home the minute I walked in. Just had another FABULOUS Phacial with Elina and she ROCKS. What sweet, caring, knowledgeable skin-care expert. Love her and love her treatments. She used a Vitamin-C exfoliating micor-powder and natural oatmeal, honey and Indian clay (not in that order) to help my face and neck look A-MA-ZING! I had a great experience at Ursula's! I have a special event coming up and I wanted to be able to do my own makeup and have it look good, since I never usually wear much makeup. I also decided that since I finished my first year of grad school I would pamper myself by getting a facial too--which I had never done before. The facial with Elina was great--she did a comprehensive skin evaluation/consultation along with the facial and gave me tips on some products to buy and simple masks I can make myself. The facial itself was extremely relaxing and my skin felt great afterwards! I kept falling asleep--it was so nice. I definitely think I want to have a facial at least 2-3 times a year now! After my facial, Ursula did an extensive makeup application lesson with me, teaching me how to put on foundation, concealer, and everything else in the right order and so that it will last all day. She helped me realize why eyebrows are so important and after she did mine, they look soo much better! I never even realized how bad they were! Neither Ursula nor Elina pressured me to buy any products, and they both recommended inexpensive but quality alternatives that you can get from Target or the drug store. I ended up buying quite a bit of her products just because I knew for some things it would be hard to find matching ones elsewhere (i.e. foundation, blush) but never felt like I had to buy anything if I hadn't wanted to. During my facial I thought to myself "this is what life is about" It was the BEST experience. Not only does my skin feel clean...like REALLY clean, the entire experience was so relaxing. Elina said she got stuff out my pores that was older than me (gross I know but exactly what I wanted) There is no pressure to buy products here just a focus on making the customer happy. I thought at the end of the facial they would tell me I needed to come back frequently but she just said to return in 4 months! Since I started going to Ursula years ago, I have not let anyone else touch my face! She has done my make-up on several occasions, as well as brow sculpting and tinting. I have never had a facial before and was anxious going into my appointment, but About PHace was great from start to finish. The experience began with a warm greeting from Ursula (and a friendly hug!). Then Elina escorted me to the back room for the facial. We discussed skin concerns first, and she had me tell her about my daily routine. Then she dispensed some advice about using SPF and moisturizer. And then we proceeded to the facial itself, which was relaxing and very nice. Elina was warm, friendly, and seemed knowledgeable. At the end, she gave me advice on what I could do by myself as a daily routine -- customized to my skin type and my issues. She gave suggestions for affordable products you can get at CVS and didn't try to push any products on me. She wasn't pushy at all about scheduling another appointment ("if you keep up your daily routine, come back in 3 or 4 months if you want") and just seemed both sincere and passionate about her job. read more

Worth every penny. I am somewhat of a seasoned veteran in the world of facials. My face has been picked and pulled at, massaged with creams, oils, and whatever else the industry has thought to conjure up. But my skin has never felt as understood as it did under Elina's care. Elina taught me everything I wanted to know about my skin, and a bunch of things I never even thought to ask. As some of the reviews have stated, she doesn't push expensive products and places her faith on healthy home remedies as well as a few drug-store brands. My skin flared up right after coming to the States, and it has been getting worse and worse with every passing year. I used to be the kind of girl that didn't even need a cleanser, and now I've spent much more money trying different "designer" brands and friend-recommended treatments than I'd care to admit. So do yourself a favor and stop trying to treat yourself--let Elina do the work for you. read more

A place where they really care! My skin condition has gone really bad recently, and I went to Elina for a facial after reading the reviews. The first consultation is longer than a regular one, and for me, it went reallllly long~ because she really took time analyze my skin, and talk about my skin care routine ( and yes, I took notes). I agreed for extractions at last because I believe she knows what she is doing. And she kept her promise, no squeezing or bleeding, no discomfort at all. I would recommend this place to anyone who is not sure if they are doing the right thing to their skin, or just wanna know more about skin care. Wow. Just Wow! I must preach the good graces of this establishment and the staff!! I am a believer just like the many people before me. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!! I had my first consultation with Ursula for my eyebrows and then afterwards with Elina for my facial. I knew this was going to take a few hours of my day and boy, am I so thrilled that I had a day of pampering!! :) Upon entering, I was greeted by Ursula herself and the front office assistant. She was sweet! The office assistant and Ursula were so kind and pleasant as soon as I walked in.They offered to take my coat and get me water. Service as soon as I walked in and absolutely no waiting around! They were right on time and had a professional flow and mindset about them. I seemed like they had a full day but it never was packed or having people wait around on the couches/chairs. There was a positive and constant buzz in the room. A good thing! Imagine a whole bunch of your best girlfriends getting together, that's what it reminds me of! The decor is fun as well! I can tell she likes Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, The Royals-William and Kate, etc. The classic and iconic beauties! Lots of fun little items throughout the room. Entertaining to look at! Some of what she was talking about I was aware of but some things not as much. It is always great to learn and to hear from someone who has a passion for what they do. I have had many facials to microdermabrasions to peels to you name it. So I knew what to expect overall. I have searched high and low across Philadelphia and have never been happy with the end product. So I had high standards after reading the reviews about Elina and she lived up to every one. I am certain I have found my forever home when it comes to my facial and skincare needs. Elina starts off by giving you a amazing head/scalp massage, if you decide to do that. Great way to get relaxed for the work and pampering to follow. I typically ask for extractions in my facials and have had the full spectrum of estheticians who don't do it properly to those who have beat my face up to the point where it HURTS; and I have an extremely high tolerance to pain. Elina was just right and did so with precision! I was impressed!! She is extremely gentle and extremely effective. That is a talent not many have. Trust me on that! She showed me what came out of my pores and it was intriguing and shocking. Ladies and gentleman, it is important to get facials regularly due to the fact you can't see what is all there in and under your skin. Her work and the products proved itself after she was all done with my facial. My pores are so small, I can't even see them and my skin is just GLOWING!! Supple, hydrated, balanced, and youthful!! Amazing!! Elina is a goddess and she had great suggestions afterwards for my skincare. She also gives great cheaper, natural, and wonderful alternatives if one doesn't want to use designated skincare products. That's great to know to incorporate that into my routine and if someone is on a budget. I started going to Ursula for brow shapings a few months ago and I'm hooked. I never thought my eyebrows could look this good! After years of overplucking and generally just not knowing what the hell I was doing, I decided it was time for a change. I let my brows grow in as much as I could stand and headed over to Ursula's. Ursula doesn't sugarcoat it. She's going to tell you what a mess your eyebrows are, but she's also going to make them look amazing. If you promise not to keep plucking them, they'll continue to grow in and look even more amazing. It's pricey ($55 for the first consult/shaping, $37 for each visit thereafter) but it's worth it. Save your face and don't go here. Despite all the positive reviews, Ursula's did not deliver. She has a heavy and uneven hand. My brows came out crooked and she told me that this was because my face is asymmetrical. I'm now using daily makeup to try and hide her mistakes. Her salon is cluttered and does not seem like a professional spa. Additionally, I hope you like Motown tunes because you will get sick of hearing the same four songs on literal loop. I honestly can not listen to some of the songs I used to love. For the tremendous prices and shoddy work, please go elsewhere. Ursula is good with makeup, but she plucked my eyebrows so thin that I had to wait for them to come back for 6 months. I've never seen someone as unapologetic - Ursula loves Ursula. As far as the facial with Elina, while she is passionate about what she does, do not expect her to be on time or even show up at all. While she uses PCA products, so do other local salons and they will do the same level of work at a much lower price. The owner and the receptionist are rude and unapologetic about their attitude. I went to Ursula's last week as I bought a groupon and it was running out soon. While there every single appointment that called had groupon so I'm surprised that I am the first one writing about my experience so far. But anyway. My experience started really poorly. They asked me to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. As I work in the burbs, I had to choose between train times and so I actually arrived 30 minutes early (it was hot out/I didnt feel like walking around). So I fill out the paperwork in like 2 minutes and wait. They were nice and offered me water. I figured I couldnt be annoyed - I did it to myself. Until my appointment came and went. They didn't take me until 30 minutes after my time!!!! So waiting an hours. I was visibly mad on my face and they knew it. When Elina took me she apologized. The woman in front didnt care at all. Only when I seemed very angry did she go mention to Elina she should perhaps start to wrap up. I could hear Elina and the client laughing throughout and they hugged goodbye so I figured they were friends and that bothered me too - not being professional in respecting my time for personal reasons. BUT - things did a 180 once I got in. Elina was great. I chose firm for the body massage which was good. I actually fell asleep! The facial was good with lots of different exfoliators etc and my face looked awesome. BUT - I dont know how great of a facial it was in terms of really cleaning my face. Generally from my other facials, my face is a little red after and it van hurt a little as they dig under the skin to clean my pores etc - especially in the T zone. This was all creams. At the end, Elina and I discussed facial treatments. As she doesnt sell anything and was so passionate about it, I felt she was sincere. She told me what she uses and gave product and home made recommendations. I actually for the first time bought some of the products and am trying to take care of my skin - so something she said motivated me. So all in all - it is a very relationshipy/friendly place. But if you are kind of a rigid new yorker like me, timeliness and efficiency are not their things. read more

Ursula did my make up for my wedding. I wanted something classic that would not look dated when I looked at my photos years later and asked for a Marilyn Monroe type look. She nailed it. It was a nod to the classic 50s bombshell but with an updated esthetic. She is totally professional so easy to deal with. Also... My God what that woman does with brow! Every time she does my brows I'm shocked at how much well groomed brows can transform a face. You'll be glancing at your self in every reflective surface you pass. read more

I have a lot of makeup but I didn't know how to really put it on, so I have complaining to my husband that I really wanted someone to teach me how to put on my makeup without looking like an ad for makeup. Being the fantastic husband that he is, he researched it and bought me a gift certificate for a make up lesson by Ursula. I was blown away by his thoughtfulness and then I was scared. What if this lesson was like the "lessons" I got at the MAC makeup counter or the Lancome makeup counter? The ones where they make you look like a Rock of Love tramp and then expect you to buy everything. I made the appointment and packed some of my own makeup just in case she wanted to see what I've been using. I arrived at her studio and she was so welcoming. She took my coat and it was as if we were old college friends. She asked me what type of look I was going for and I told her I wanted an everyday look that I can do without a million products and under 10 minutes. This is her speciality. She began by cleansing and moisturing my skin with her own natural products. Makeup and facial products don't have to be made with crazy chemicals and they shouldn't be and Ursula gets that. She's a pro and has been in the entertainment biz so she knows what's good and what's so so bad. The lesson was 90 minutes and she showed me how to use products in many ways. She loves the "two birds with one stone" products so you don't need lots of stuff in your makeup bag. As she was putting in my look on one half of my face, she would carefully explain each step and after she was done, I would put the product on the other half while she coached me through it. While I was afraid of color, brow pencil, blush, and bronzerI am a true convert now. I even got a step by step how-to written down for me with an almost color by number picture I can use when I reproduce the look tomorrow. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Her studio is so relaxing and I kinda want to go back just so I can hang out and talk. Her products are great too and she totally doesn't push you to buy them (which is so great). Bottom line: go! They have makeovers, facials, sugaring, and quality products (I got the brow pencil and concealer). read more

There is a reason why this place gets so many 5 star reviews! I recently had a facial with Elena, which was absolutely wonderful. She is extremely kind, took a LOT of time to answer my questions, and gave me a lot of natural remedies to use that don't cost a fortune. One of my biggest pet peeves are those who insist on selling me a bunch of expensive products. Elena did not do this at all. She recommended an aspirin/yogurt mask as well as using plain old Milk of Magnesia for my oily T-zone, which literally cost only a few dollars. Elena is also extremely warm and friendly, and we had a great personal connection. I would highly recommend her! I also had a makeup application lesson with Ursula. I love makeup but am always apprehensive about going beyond my comfort zone. Ursula was very thorough and easy to follow. When I returned for my facial, I commented to Ursula that I was not happy with the foundation color that I had bought from her because it looked too dark for my skin. She took me back to the makeup room and tried on both my original color as well as a lighter foundation color, which looked too light. I really appreciated how Ursula took the time to allay my concerns and make sure that I was happy. I highly recommend this spa to anyone. read more

I went here for a facial with Elina a couple months back. I actually met her on the way up in the elevator, and she brought me in, got me settled with the new client questionnaire, and even introduced me to Ursula, which I thought was really sweet. The place is quiet and small, but very nice. Elina is AWESOME. Since it was my first time getting a facial, she described the process in detail, letting me know exactly what to expect. She gave me a BANGIN' scalp massage--I wish I could go back every day just for that. The chocolate treatment she used smelled good enough to lick off (I didn't, but I was THIS close.) At the end, my skin felt great and smelled good enough to eat (not in a cannabilistic sort of way.) She also gave me great, specific recommendations for products I should try and let me know that I only really needed to return each time the seasons changed to get new recommendations for that season. She's so personable and funny--within 2 minutes, I felt like we were old friends. I think someone on here said that it was distracting to hear Elina talking with a friend during her make-up treatment. I'm pretty certain that was just Elina laughing with a client--she goes from joking around with you to providing the most peaceful facial ever just like that. Just writing this is reminding me that I need to get back there again for my summer facial. I think Elina's tips and products she recommended (all cheap, available at CVS) have made a real difference in the appearance of my skin. One star is docked for the price--it's hefty, but when you think about how you only have to do it a few times a year, it's not so bad. Also, block out a good portion of your day. Elina had me there for a few hours and obviously went over the allotted appointment time. When we got out, Ursula was gone, and she was locking up because it was night time! I've been going to Ursula's for a few years now, and I can't see myself going to anyone else. I had a traumatizing experience when I was a teen with uneven eyebrows from the neighborhood nail salon. I found Ursula after searching on Yelp, and she has really changed my life. I schedule an appointment with her every couple months or so and she touches my eyebrows up for me. I never have to worry about them looking a mess because it just grows in nicely on its own (check out my picture for proof). Ursula's is great. I have now had a facial with Elina and a make up lesson and Bonzeye brow sculpting. Can I just say Wow! About 10 years ago, I gave up on my face. With extremely sensitive skin, everything I used to clean or moisturize turned me red and raw. My husband gave me a groupon coupon a month ago though, and I am glad he did. Elina gave me a facial with all natural treatments and a skin analysis. She told me what products might work on my face, and how to use simple household items for masks and gentle exfoliants. The products she recommended work with no redness or rawness or pain. My skin is starting to look healthy again. And if that had been the only benefit from my coupon, I would have been over the moon. But today, I went for my brow sculpting and make up lesson with Ursula. Yes, I took in my old make up that was 14 years old and left it there when I walked out. I had always thought my brows were pitiful, when she was through working her magic I was shocked at how good they looked. And natural. The difference in my face was astounding. My husband even noticed and remarked on the eyebrow difference. Then, Ursula taught me how to use make up to look my best, and still look natural. It is a make up place for people who don't want to look like they are made up. She would do the left side of my face, and then guide me in transforming the right side. The bad eyebrow. You know what I'm talking about (if you don't you're either in denial or have a face as symmetrical as Gigi Hadid's and should be praising thanks to the eyebrow gods) that eyebrow that no matter how much effort or money you put into waxing, threading, plucking or brow pens, brushes or powders it continues to spite you and remains uncooperative. I'm no exception, I have a great eyebrow and then I have one that no matter how much I try to shape and uplift it to be the best eyebrow it can be, it never ceases to forsaken me and we live in constant conflict. Or at least we did, until I came to Ursula's. Everything about Ursula and her studio is warm and welcoming. She is very prompt as I've never had an appointment start after the scheduled time. Ursula does not wax or thread, she plucks and shapes your eyebrows and your skin and brows will thank you for it believe me. I have been getting mine waxed since I was a teen and I'll never go back to that. Ursula maintains optimum arch and and shape with your brows while keeping them as natural looking as possible (also that awkward redness and harsh definition that screams "I just got my eyebrows waxed" to world is no more!) She's very informative and very friendly, it's like going to visit a friend you've known for years even the first time you go. It may be a bit more pricey than your average nail salon wax but let's be honest here you can't put a price on good eyebrows! And yes I said eyebrows as in plural because I no longer have a bad brow thanks to Ursula! I've also had a facial done here with Elena. This was my first facial experience and it was phenomenal! Elena has about a 15-20 minute consulting conversation with your prior to your actual facial. It can be a lot of information at once but it's very informative and she's totally non-judgmental so be honest with her about your skin care routine and she'll tell you exactly what you should be doing according to your skin. The facial itself is super amazing and relaxing, I basically fell asleep! She does not try and push any expensive products on you, mostly everything she recommends can be found at stores like CVS or from items you probably have at home. I'll admit, when I first read the reviews here and signed up for a facial at Ursula's I thought to myself, " who are all these crazy people that are so zealous about this facial place? I'm going to try this, but I'll never be one of them." Well, I was wrong! Target sessions with Elina are like physical therapy for your skin. Since my teen years I have hated my skin -- I've tried everything short of extreme and never had consistently clear skin, until now. The target sessions are an incredible value (for me, they ended up being cheaper than a few trips to the dermie and a few months of prescriptions, and much less harsh on my skin with no nasty side effects). Elina will never try to steer you towards more expensive products than necessary; she strongly favors cheap, natural remedies. That's awesome because your sessions with her really are the investment, you may even end up with a much cheaper skincare regimin at the end of the day. But Elina's facials aren't for everyone. You have to be willing to work with her. Do not even bother going if you are not willing to get serious about sunscreen. And sometimes you have to be willing to take a bit of a leap of faith (she'll get you to put things like yogurt or baby food on your face -- super weird) but trust her, it is worth it. Just be prepared for questions from your roommates/significant other like "why is the honey in the bathroom?" (because you were making an amazing Elina-ordered mask out of it, duh.) I've never met anyone who takes skin as seriously as Elina. She practically cried with pride and joy when she saw how clear my face was at my last session. And I smile from ear to ear when I think about how nice my skin looked at my wedding and how nice it will look into the future because of her -- five stars, each one earned many times over! read more

I first went to the salon for a facial which I loved:) Elina gave me so many great tips on how to care for my skin which was practical and cost effective:) As I was there I had the opportunity to meet the owner Ursula who I immediately liked. She showed me the airbrushing makeup techinque I was immediately intriqued. I went back a night I had a black tie she transformed me into what a felt like a super star. I have been to Ursula's multiple times over the past few years to try out their various services. I am a fan of all of them. Makeup lesson - like every other girl around, I've obviously been wearing makeup for years and thought I knew how to put it on. Who hasn't tried to follow those diagrams in magazines which tell you how to apply eyeshadow for "day" and "smokey eyes", right? Well it turns out I wasn't clueless, but I definitely learned a trick or two which really makes my makeup look great. Also, she doesn't push products on your at all during the lesson, but you definitely might want to buy a few of the things, such as foundation. This is also like a professional foundation matching session. Recently she changed her brand of foundation and the one I'd been using was discontinued. After I purchased the replacement, I discovered at home it was too dark. I contacted Ursula and she immediately arranged for me to come back and get something that would make me happy. The one we chose was even better than the original and I left there super satisfied. Facial - what can I say about Elina and the facial that hasn't already been said below? It's a one-of-a-kind experience and Elina is obviously a pro. Try it at least once. There are differnet combos, but go with the one with the scalp massage. Of course that's the best choice. Massage - I am pretty sure they don't have these anymore, but I got a few from Elina maybe a year or two ago and they were wonderful. Brow sculpting/shaping - You are going to have to seriously grow your brows out before trying this one. No joke, don't touch them AT ALL for a few months and then go visit Ursula. Mine are looking great and she is definitely an expert on the subject. The only downside is that it's sometimes tough to get in or get an appointment. There is no regular secretary, so you have to either email or call and then wait for their reply. read more

Loved my facial with Elina, who was more about education than giving you the temporary fixes to skin issues. (as all the previous reviewers have indicated). She is a bit intimidating in that she will tell you exactly what you have been doing wrong, and how much your expensive products aren't doing what you think they are. My favorite part of this facial was at the end when Elina reviewed things I should do next. I.e. Yogurt Mask every 5 days, changing my cleanser and moisterizer and a few other tips that will prevent the buildup of oil and bacteria in the summer months. She didn't push me to make another appointment in 6 weeks, but was more interested in making sure I was going to follow through and visit her seasonally. The 2 hours i spent at my first visit was great, I think i even fell asleep at some point. I trust Elina after one visit and will be recommending her services to anyone who asks. read more

I've never had a facial before...but the one I got with Elina? So amazing. She was detailed, had a wealth of knowledge, and was very upfront about what I was doing wrong in regards to my skin. She was so nice, yet stern about the basics my skin needed. She didn't try to push expensive products or even push her personal routine products on to me. She suggested what would work with my skin type and her suggestions were even great for my wallet. Yes, it was a bit expensive since this was my first visit and consultation..however...it was worth it. Actually, it's expensive to not get the best care for your skin and have to later shell out a lot of $$$ to correct what could've been prevented earlier. I'm so glad I went. I went to Ursula's several years ago to learn how to apply make-up. She transformed me as she's done for other reviewers on Yelp. She also provided me with tips to use when applying make-up on my own. Since then, I can apply my make-up with such ease. Recently, my aunt told me that I looked like a model. Just left Ursula's About PHace and I am on cloud nine. My eyebrows have never looked this fierce...never ever. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is just as pleasing. Ursula knows eyebrows and makeup and before you leave her studio, you will know a little more than you did before going to her. Tameka is also very pleasant and welcoming.
