I highly recommend this center in the Sacramento area. All recruiters were very friendly . All questions I had during my process of enlisting were answered in an efficient and timely matter. SSG Bolton was patient through out my entire process especially during this pandemic and kept me motivated with his encouraging words in wanting to become a future soldier .

I went to a few different recruiting centers and a few different branches and was hardly given the time of day. At this center I spoke with sergeant Wisby, Staff sergeant Rodriguez, and Sergeant first class Mata. All of whom where some of the most helpful, down to earth, and overall realistic military personnel I've ever met. They were very thorough with every question I had and finally got me to live my dream of enlisting in the United States Army. Hats off to these guys for creating a friendly yet serious office. 10/10 would do it again with these guys at this location.

Was able to assist me with getting unit vacancies for the Army Reserves. New to the area and they were able to provide points of contact.

One of my friend's husband ended up getting enlisted (active duty) at the exact same recruiting station as me.

I just had one of the most awkward and uncomfortable interactions with a recruiter from Pacific…read moreStaffing, specifically Elizabeth Mann. I applied for a position and received an email from her asking if I was looking for work and to call her to discuss opportunities. When I did call, it went to voicemail, but she returned the call within a few minutes. From the start, the conversation felt off. She told me her "team" received my résumé for an HR Coordinator position but that they already had two candidates in the final stages. That was confusing, since she was the one who reached out to me. She then began asking about my professional experience, my current role, and my previous roles. The questions themselves were fine, but the way she handled the conversation was not. Each time I tried to answer, I was either cut off mid-sentence or met with long, uncomfortable silence that she tried to down play by saying she was looking into other positions. It didn't feel like she was actively listening or genuinely interested. It also didn't seem like she had taken the time to review my résumé before calling, despite being the one who initiated the contact. I also asked her what OTHER roles they might have available, for instance; Customer Service, Administrative/Clerical, Data Entry, etc. she stillllll wanted to discuss HR Coordinator roles. If you're going to ask me questions about my resume, ask them in the manner of which you have first done your due diligence to review it fully, so you can properly ask me questions that relate to my experience and the variety of jobs posted available. Side note: I have 8 years of experience across training and organizational development, Non-profit sector administrative roles, HR Contact Center experience, and Executive Level Onboarding. So please cut the BS when you call people and act as though their experience isn't a fit, maybe learn how to ask proper screening questions. She mentioned having three HR Coordinator openings, but the way she described them didn't sound genuine, nor did it sound like she had any interest in assisting with finding an appropriate fit. She said she would reach out about one position only if the two candidates currently in the final stage didn't work out -- which felt unnecessary to say and was very passive. She also mentioned another role in Auburn, CA, but by that point, the tone of the call made it clear to me that continuing the conversation wasn't productive and truthfully a waste of my time so yes, I cut it very short and practically laughed at her because WTH why even call? or why keep asking questions if you're not even interested in doing YOUR job. Silly. Overall, the call was rushed, disorganized, and dismissive. Based on this experience alone, I'm not interested in pursuing any opportunities through Pacific Staffing, just like I told her over the phone. I ended the call respectfully, but it was enough for me to decide I would not recommend this agency.

They tell you that when you work throughout the day, as soon as you rate and confirm your hours that you have worked through the app then you'll will be paid within minutes. Well that has not been the case. They have done so several times, either paid the wrong person my wages and/ or have taken two to three days later to get my payment loaded on my debit card. They have also removed job tickets off of my profile for no apparent reason and when I follow the instructions to call the office and request for the reason why they'll either put me on hold or just plain hang up the phone and not answer when I call back. They have the most unprofessional managers and talent recruiters on planet earth and more. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and think of other logical reasons for they're actions but in the end of the day they are just horrible, and I mean blatantly horrible when dealing with customers and employees. I have been cheated out of my time and money on numerous accounts and especially the West Sacramento office has given me the wrong address to curtain job sites and have reprimanded me for showing up late to work when they fail to provide me with the proper location, They have either given me the wrong equipment or not given me any equipment at all to maintain site policies and safety rules. I am writing this review to warn any and everyone I possibly can that "People Ready temp service" is the most unprofessional and dishonest organization I have ever worked for and will never attempt to work for them on any occasion whatsoever beyond today. They are the most immorally and unethically type of business I have ever dealt with. So whoever uses temp agencies to find permanent work or just day to day payout gigs, your better off using labor max or aerotek or even select staffing rather than go to people ready. Save yourself the headache and rising blood pressure because that's all you'll get out of these people. I wouldn't take this review down even if they paid me because I feel this will help someone out there from making the biggest mistake of they're lives. Thank you all who have read this, understood, and have considered all of what I just mentioned. Even if you do not agree personally all of this are hard facts that I have sat back too long and not said anything. Today I do. God bless you all!!!!!!!!!

Several adult females interact with underage boys inappropriately, including giving them hickeys, making out, and touching them, while staff members fail to intervene. I have also encountered unprofessional behavior from staff on multiple occasions. The dorm supervisor often displays a dismissive attitude, refuses to listen to students' concerns, and insists on being right. Some staff members have even encouraged students, based on my own experience, to seek money from older men. We are discouraged from voicing concerns publicly, as speaking out can result in retaliation; staff may warn you not to speak negatively about Job Corps. They are quick to place students on behavioral contracts, misplace important documents, and some staff members have even come to work under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The environment is chaotic and unprofessional. Staff have manipulated students into informing on one another and then revealed the informant's identity, fueling drama and mistrust. They frequently fabricate stories to start drama and are quick to require written reports from students. Currently, I am on dorm restriction for a week because I did not sign in for the 8pm minor accountability check. I was asleep in my dorm at the time, so staff were aware of my whereabouts but did not confirm I was there before disciplining me. The food here is unappetizing, and there are persistent mold problems. The kitchen is often dirty and has a strong odor of spoiled food and sewage. Male staff are assigned to check female dorms, and female staff check male dorms at night, entering every room. This practice means that, in the middle of the night, a male staff member might enter your room to check attendance, which many students find very uncomfortable. Staff are quick to label students as 'messy' if they raise concerns or ask questions about the rules that they fail to enforce. Overall, I do not recommend coming here unless you have no other options, as was the case for me. Protect your mental and physical well-being.
