They're picking my car up on a Thursday (tomorrow) and agreed to drop it off before I have to go to work on Monday. Extremely Disappointing Experience I would strongly advise against using this car shipping company. They gave me a quote and agreed to a price, but then waited until only four hours before the scheduled pickup to nearly double the price. At that point, they knew I had very little choice because the pickup was imminent and I had already made arrangements based on their original quote. It felt like they deliberately waited until I was in a vulnerable position to increase the price. I was told that they could not find a driver. And let me say that all of them have fake names. I couldn't get a real name out of anyone, generic Mike's or Kevin's. After a week of not being able to find a driver to transport my vehicle, then I am told that there was a driver secured, but they backed out due to inflated gas prices and the price I was quoted was not sufficient the driver. They called me at 3 the next day and said it was going to be $1,300. The deposit was non refundable and that was in line with more reputable companies price. I should have just booked with montway or Sherpa. I went ahead and did it because I didn't want to lose my deposit. Basically they cant offer a check or another alternative for refund of $50.00. My card was cancelled for fraud and they cannot refund me at all since my bank card was cancelled and i got new one. They expect me to call my bank and get card re-activated. I am not sure in what world they live because thats not possible. This is a headache. This company is incredibly unprofessional. Hired them to ship a Tesla from CA to IL. Contract signed, deposit paid, dates secured. We were guaranteed a pickup on Wednesday between 10 am and 1 pm. They failed to pickup the vehicle. They failed to secure a driver. They failed to communicate these issues. Instead of providing this information to both the pick up person and the receiver, they left it to us to keep calling back for updates. When I asked about this, Adam kept saying he was sorry and asked me to accept his apology. Sir, no one cares about your apology. This is the only day I have off and am available to transfer the vehicle. Is your "I'm sorry" going to drive my vehicle to IL on time? We wanted to cancel but now it's too late to secure another driver for the day and Adam kept me on the phone pleading to give them another chance because all the companies use the same platform to secure a driver for shipment. I tried calling the number he originally called me on, didn't go through. Then I call the number the point person gave me, they then gave me an additional number to call. This company is a rip off. Didn't pick up on time then increased the price. Didn't deliver on time and again increased the price. Took an extra 4 days and $400. Stay away. I'm trying to warn anyone considering this company. You read the horror stories; this is one of them. read more
