I filled out the "Get a Free Quote" form on CarShippingCarriers.com, under the impression this ONE company would contact me. I tried to not input my phone number, and it wouldn't let me. So I entered it. Within literally seconds of clicking submit, I had numerous calls and emails for several OTHER companies. This is beyond irritating. 15 minutes later and I have 11 calls, 6 voicemails, and 10 emails from several different car shipping companies - some have already called me multiple times. Had I know Car Shipping Carries was just going to spit out my information to a ton of different companies, I wouldn't have filled out this form. Who wants to be bombarded by that many forms of communication? I tried to post this review on transportreviews.com but the company removed it because I'm not a 'true customer.' I don't know how a company that only disperses your number out to tons of other companies to contact you gets 'true customers.' Since Nov 2020 Mitch Blumstein has hit me up nearly half a dozen times by phone calls and emails. We did not like his tone and attitude to begin with by the way he communicates. We also was not comfortable with all of the complaints recorded at ai.fmcsa.dot.gov I've told him, more than once, if we decide to go with Roadrunner we will contact them so they can stop contacting us. After this they assigned other people to keep calling us as if we still need to move 2 months later. Many times I've asked to be on the do not call list and many promises later they assign different representatives to call. Just this week they've called twice. The last representative's name is Charles Hawthorne and I told him what kind of harassments Roadrunner has been doing. I even told him I will will now leave harassment reviews for the RR. His reply "Okay, do what you need to do..."

The tow company arrived within an hour, which was the estimated time of arrival. My car was towed with care without any issues. The tow truck itself showed 295,000 miles. I know it's a truck. But my little corolla can still dream.

Unfortunately for me a careless driver smashed into my car recently. They got a ticket from the police for causing the wreck and I was left needing a way to get my mangled car to a repair facility. It didn't take long at all for the truck to show up after a call was placed to AAA. Cindy was the driver and did a great job getting my car on the truck quickly. She was apologetic when she informed me that she was going to have to charge me a fee because my AAA coverage only covers towing for five miles and my desired destination was more than that. That wasn't her fault but I appreciated the sentiment. I rode with her in the tow truck. At that point I was banged up and still upset over a situation where I was doing nothing wrong and was the victim of a negligent driver. Cindy was sympathetic but at the same time helped me put things into perspective by telling me about some of the bad accidents that she has had to deal with. I was actually quite lucky and should appreciate that. When we got to the repair center she gave me some advice on what steps to take next with them and the insurance company. I made sure to take a business card because I want to use American Towing & Transport again when I have need of a tow truck. Thanks Cindy!
