Having problems with my mobile online account. Went in today at opening to hopefully solve my issues. Ms K Wakefield listened to my problems & quickly was able to determine the solution. After walking me through the fix she then took the time to let me use my I-pad to log in, set new password, & ensuring everything was working properly. When I left everything I came in for was fixed. That true customer service, all in less than an hour. (Most of that, because I am slow) This is why this is our Credit Union. Staff were still following masking protocol, but were allowing customers to choose if they wanted to remain safe by wearing one. read more

I needed an account specialist for a few things that I have been dreading to do and putting off since the beginning of the Covid19 lockdown. My adult daughter came along with me for company as we figured it would be a long event. We waited no more than five minutes after signing in before being welcomed back by Tyler Roth-Murphy. What a friendly, professional and knowledgeable young man! In about 1/2 the time I thought we would be there for, he completed my dreaded tasks, fixed two items that I never would have known to inquire about, and then got several things done in addition for my daughter. OMG customer service is not, I repeat, is not a priority here. I usually go to montono and it is better there. I can't believe how slow the are here. Only one teller in the lobby and everyone else is walking around visiting. Took about a 20 minute wait and now I know why I am moving to a different bank. My family has been loyal to this credit union for over 3 generations. My grandfather being one of their first members. I moved away from NM almost 20 years ago. I haven't used my high school bank with US Eagle FCU account for many years. It was a joint account opened for my sibling and I when I was a child after my mother died. I recently found a collection charge off account on my credit report from them. I called as soon as a i was made aware and paid it and told them it must have been a mistake because I never use that account. I was also never made aware of the account status. They said it was not me but my sibling who is also on the account that left it negative. I immediately paid it and informed them I was never made aware of the account status. They proceeded to read me back my current address and phone number, so they do have my contact info, BUT they they informed me they never sent any notices to my current address or made any attempt to call me. What they did do was send a notice to my childhood address where I haven't lived for over 20 years. I asked them to research it because I never received any correspondence or was never made aware of the negative status of the account or that the account still existed. They said that by sending it to a former address ( 20 year old address) that was their attempt to contact me. They confirmed they never attempted to call me. The back and forth went on for several days via phone and emails. I reiterated that I immediately paid it- even though the neg balance on the account was not my doing. I believe it was mistakenly reported to the credit bureau because I assume they had to be some kind of effort to collect a debt before it is reported. It is mind baffling because they have my current address and current phone number. Why would they not try to collect a debt if they had the current address and contact info on file? They have refused to admit their mistake and have kept it on my report. Please stay away from this terrible establishment. I recently visited the location in Bernalillo and needed to see a banker. We were attended to by an impatient woman. She was not very helpful nor did she care to explain anything. She was very snippy when I tried to ask questions and basically made us feel rushed and very unwelcome. She clearly is not happy with her job and really should not be representing US Eagle FCU. I have run into quite a few of their employees, at different locations, who have a poor attitude and do not seem to be very knowledgeable of their job or their services. A few times now they had to call superiors in order to perform what I would think should be a pretty basic function for them. Maybe they are simply not happy with their job, poorly trained, or just have no business in face to face customer service. All in all, it has me rethinking where I want to bank. read more
