However, my main problem is that the majority of the time I come, they don't have what I need. Case in point: today I came to buy Green Gobbler drain cleaning and deodorizing sticks. The website said they had them. The gentleman that helped me was very nice, and asked what I needed, then took me to the aisle where their drain cleaning products were. They had other Green Gobbler products, but not the sticks. Another wasted trip.

Produce looks & tastes fresh and the selection is good. Additionally, the meats look great here and I will be back for those. Their pre made foods are tasty and a good value. The pre made salads are yummy and Mac & cheese was especially good. They had almost all the grocery staple items I needed. If you want to shop late it is the perfect time. It is less crowded. Vegetables and local meats. We joined their membership a year before moving here...that's how much I liked the store. Twice a month great sale prices on local. You receive a monthly discount to use on all your groceries too. Don't pass the deli department without exploding. Love the pizza by slice!! The store holds classes too but I'm so busy. Very clean!! Oh the local bread department is above 5 star quality too.

It seemed well stocked and we did find what we were looking for, a couple of large wicker rectangular containers that we will use to store our patio furniture cushion. There really is no one to consult if you have questions. There was a long line of people waiting at the register, but only two registers open. I don't understand this from a customer satisfaction stand point. Are they understaffed? Our cashier was nice enough, and the older man that I assume was the manager was also nice, though they tried to convince us to get their credit card, given the 5-10% discounts offered with each use. I get that it might work for some people, but we weren't interested, and, to their credit, there was no pressure. My recommendation would be to have more people at the registers when it is busy, and perhaps some people on the floor offering assistance, though I get that this might not be their business model.

Boise Bodega is right next to my hotel which was the Sparrow, and the Sparrow Hotel was immaculate…read more like weirdly clean. so that already set the tone for the day. walked into the bodega and immediately noticed everything was laid out very intentionally. not in a fancy way, just in a way that made sense. cheaper stuff first, then normal priced stuff, then the more expensive stuff. i liked that because it let me mentally commit to how much money i was about to spend before i actually spent it. felt respectful. the guy running the place had immaculate vibes. calm. friendly. not doing too much. he was wearing a UCLA sweatshirt which caught my eye because i've got family members who go there. i asked him if he went to UCLA. he said no, but he's reppin it for me. that made me laugh and honestly set the mood for the rest of the visit. whole place felt super chill. no rush. no weird energy. just a solid neighborhood spot that knows exactly what it is. grabbed what i needed and left in a better mood than when i walked in, which is not something i can say about most convenience stores. liked it enough that when i got back home i actually told people about this place, which i almost never do. usually i forget places the second i leave them. would go back. good store. good guy. good system.

Based on at least ten visits, (three last year before we moved here)…read more Great shop for; all types of pasta, sauces, custom ravioli, seasonings, olive oil, marinades, garden decorative items (seasonal too), soup packs (for crockpot especially), mustards and so much much more! We would bring back to one family the gluten free pastas. We are not gluten free..regular pasta for us. Now that we live here, this is our regular shop to enhance our home cooking recipes. Very good customer service. I highly recommend the soup packages, take a look at the salt percentage but the majority are on the low to moderate. We've been purchasing the same soup packages up north. If a veteran, let the cashier know. Oh.....the Star local monthly newspaper had a great article on The Milled Olive. Regarding prices vs quality....if this is your first visit, buy one pasta package and one marinade. You'll appreciate and notice the difference in taste. The price is worth the value. Bring some pasta home and treat your family!! Five plus stars!! Shop local also.

The Employees are super nice, the gun counter guys are funny, and the garden ladies are always sweet. Can't say enough good things about this place. Yes you will pay a few dollars more for that can of rustoleum or whatever but sometimes it's worth it. The snack section upfront is also pretty great!
