They were a lifesaver right before Thanksgiving when I was madly in search of a brine injector. After going to several other stores in town with no luck, I happened to stumble across J&E via a Google search. Before heading over I called over to see if they had what I needed and they said, "oh yeah, we've got all kinds" and indeed they did. I picked up several other things while I was there and prices were very reasonable. I so appreciate that J&E is open to the public and available to home cooks like me. I can't wait to go back! My latest endeavor included being on the hunt for restaurant style taco holders (you know the metal ones that zig zag). I could not find these in any store and Amazon had them but outrageously priced. Not only did they have them but they also had several sizes. I went with the 2-3 taco size and my husband loved them. I was also needing some soup spoons and I love that they have tons of styles and you can by just want you need by the dozen. Have you lost a few spoons to the evil garbage disposal???? Well you can replace them here! I did get a different style than I order so I need to go back and exchange them but still a great deal. The owners of this business should be ashamed of themselves scamming kids out of their money and…read moreaccusing them of being the scammers to save face on yelp. My son and his friends went in and purchased what appeared to be Apple Air Pods. They were slightly discounted compared to other retailers but the packaging seemed very legitimate so they didn't question it. Upon opening them, they realized they were knock offs. Not only were they falsely advertised as Apple products with Apple serial numbers, but they do not even work. They are kids so another parent reached out to them about returning them. They were given the opportunity to make this right but refused to refund their money and even accused them of slander for commenting on their facebook page because they were unreachable. Now, the owner has the nerve to accuse THEM of being the scammers, saying they tried to return them with fake products to cover himself for the reviews they are receiving about it. He says he is "filing court papers" and has "filed a police report" in an attempt to scare us off which we know he wouldn't do because he can't back up what he is accusing them of. I am sure the police and courts have bigger fish to fry or we would reach out to them ourselves. Only writing this so other people can be aware of the way they operate. To the business owners, if you were in fact running a business with "great honest customer service" you would not need to write your own reviews saying such.
