The employee attempted to charge me a $50 cleaning fee, claiming that "U-Haul reviewed pictures and decided to charge it." What made the situation frustrating was that I politely asked for a broom so I could clean the minor dust myself in literally one minute, but the employee refused. It honestly felt like the goal was simply to collect an extra $50 fee rather than resolve the issue reasonably. I understand charging customers for excessive dirt or damage, but this was nowhere near that level. The truck was otherwise clean and well maintained.
