I called RDE, and the owner came by the very next day. He told me I was lucky the pipe hadn't clogged with dirt yet. He went back to his shop, grabbed the right cap pieces, and repaired the pipe that same day. Great guy, super fast service. From the start, my interactions with their Sales/Quote representative, Glenn, were frustrating and unprofessional. He struggled to hold a clear conversation about product specifications and talked over me when I tried to ask questions. When I held him accountable to the original options he had presented, he even suggested I should just go with another fence company. On two separate occasions, Glenn promised to deliver a detailed quote within 24 hours. Both times, GMH didn't deliver. They did provide an excuse by saying they were waiting on me to provide quote options for vinyl but that is not true. Glenn stated "I just bought a trailer of aluminum and had to see what the freight was" before the quote and now I understand they were trying to push me a different product than originally provided. Over all I waited over a week to receive anything. When I finally got the quote and began asking detailed questions about the aluminum fence I wanted to order, the experience went downhill quickly. Glenn seemed unable or unwilling to answer my legitimate questions and started pushing a completely different product than what was originally discussed. After reaching out to GMH with my feedback, the company showed little concern. Instead of addressing the issues, they sent me a revised quote that was nearly double the original price, claiming the fence option I wanted had been discontinued. This was a clear case of over-promising and under-delivering. Before doing business with GMH, I strongly recommend that future customers: * Carefully validate the exact product specifications and options immediately available * Ensure everything discussed (including brochure details option) is clearly listed on the written quote * Get all promises in writing I truly wanted to work with GMH and had high hopes based on their initial presentation, but the entire process--from quoting to follow-up--was filled with unnecessary frustration and inconsistency. I received an email response from owner Curt, "You are currently out of our service area. You can try XYZ Company". His email signature's phone number had a 617 area code (Boston) and my property is in western MA, so I wondered if my query had been inadvertently sent to a Boston-area office. The site listed a different phone number for western MA, so I called it. I asked the man who answered if they serviced my western massachusetts town, and he said, "are you that lady with the crawlspace? Yeah, we don't do crawlspaces, and I have alot of work." I said thank you, wished him a good day and hung up. So, while I'm disappointed I won't get to work with RealDry, as I thought they had the expertise I needed, I'm annoyed to be lied to by the owner TWICE - first about the company's service area via email, and a second time, after he revealed he'd lied about the service area when I called their office close to my property and then additionally told me the company doesn't work on crawlspaces even though they prominently list crawlspaces on their website's homepage. If you're too busy, or don't want to consider the job for some other reason, just say you're too busy from the get-go. Don't lie - and don't lie repeatedly. It informs others that you're dishonest. The recommended "XYX company" was more than happy to come out and see the wet crawlspace RealDry was too self-important to bother with.

I had other contractors that saw my picture of the spot and all three felt something was spilled on it. Sorry to say I would not use this company again unless the father was involved.
