I grabbed some army digital gray items to use for paintball. I just wanted something different from the familiar marine corps tan, desert beige, or old school green camo colors I see often back at home. As for the inventory, prices are comparable with nearby stores. Just verify the return/exchange policy prior to purchase. Service was ok. The lady was nice enough, but seemed anxious to close up shop towards the end of the day.

The same shirt in the same size could be tagged $11.95 on one and $7.95 on another. Also, clothing is not grouped by size, so you just have to flip through the item you want to find the size you need. The staff wasn't rude but wasn't extremely friendly either. Located right across the street from Fort Hood, so it's easy to find.

Second of all, the one we found was in TERRIBLE condition, certainly not acceptable for anyone to wear. They charged us $30 for it, and since they had overheard us talking about turning it in to CIF, refused to even haggle with us. The woman at the counter looked at me like i was ridiculous when i asked her if she would take $20 for it. Her answer? "well, since you need it, no." what kind of an answer is that? You wouldn't have a store, or business, if it weren't for soldiers. These surplus stores are such a scam and out to make money off of hard working SOLDIERS. So disappointed and disgusted by this place and its employees. They have a sour attitude towards the soldiers they are supposedly supplying for, go somewhere else where you will hopefully be treated better...

My son needed items for College ROTC, so Government Issue items limited our selection but we were able to get what was needed but paid a bit more, but we would shop there again and consider a military surplus store too.
