I'm somewhat shocked that USPS apparently finally responded to the complaints people have been making about this location for years, but am very happy to be able to use my neighborhood post office again.

They sell all types of cards, generic gifts (like coffee mugs, DC sports hats, etc.) as well as chocolates. It's a full service USPS and has everything a normal post office would. In addition, the woman who works there (she's there most days, if not every day) is super nice -- she even offered me advice on a less expensive way to ship my package once!
