I've lived all over the country over the last 44 years. This is without parallel the very worst Post Office I've ever experienced, anywhere. The Post Office in Midwest City, Oklahoma is better. The one in Gainesville, Fla. is more reliable. The postal workers routinely destroy/misdirect my mail. Then they lie about it. This is a top-down organizational failure. I really do think Colorado should kick the USPS totally out of this state. read more

That aside, I've visited this location a couple times, and really these have been nothing but genuinely nice and helpful. Nobody wants to visit the post office, so having a representative who can maintain their composure and find the will to want to help the public day in and day out is just a super power and treasure. Lobby self-service kiosk out again. Unreliable. Wish there was a reliable, decent PO in Arvada.

Sent a package through them. Package never got delivered. Tracking shows it never left the Arvada facility. Went to see what's going on and they said they would call me in a couple days. Never got a call. Went again and they couldn't even be bothered to figure out where my package is at. Got attitude from the post manager. Never again will I ship through them. read more

Four Stars or Good Enough For Government Work. The Indian Tree branch is full service -- counter service, passport, parcel, PO Box, money order, etc. It has a decent sized parking lot, but it still gets a little busy near the holidays. There is a separate lane for pull up outgoing mail boxes with stamped, metered, and express mail. Of course, there are peak times when you do not want to be there, but if you avoid those times, it is very convenient. read more

The supervisor Dave (refused to give me his full name) at Indian Tree Post Office does not handle customers with a problem professionally. He did not care at all that they screwed up the confirmation of receipt for my very important piece of mail. I've been dealing with mail fraud, mail theft and the stolen identity of both my deceased mother and myself for well over a year. At one point my BANK STATEMENT was being rerouted somewhere else and had circled back around to me. Multiple credit cards in my mother's name/variations of her name and unemployment fraud (both of us) was happening as well. I did alert them a few times via email over a year ago about all of these situations. I had informed delivery and suddenly one day was locked out, so I couldn't see the mail that was coming to me that should clearly be in my mail box -this is how I saw a ReliaCard in my name to my mother's address. I was never able to sign back up for it and had gone in there asking about it twice with no resolve. I opened a PO BOX thinking that would solve the problem. (So I'm just over here giving them money trying to protect my mail) I had it for 3 months and didn't receive more than a few pieces of mail, so I know something is going on. The employees there know me and my story and I could tell knew more than they were saying. Mail theft/fraud is a felony after all. About a month ago I was not shocked to hear from them that the Postmaster was getting fired, the long time regular mail man had resigned and most of the staff was quitting. That says a lot. I need to add the Postmaster lied straight to my face saying my regular mail man had been out sick for a month and I HAD LITERALLY JUST PASSED HIM ON MY WAY THERE... in his mail truck. The WORST post office ever. I have been here several times and there is always a line out the door. Reason being: one person behind the six stall counter. Just to mail a package runs around a 45 minute wait EVERYTIME. Each time I've stood in line at least two people turn around and walk out. Then when asked do I want stamps I answer: "Yes, five international please." "Oh, we don't have any." Um, I just don't get this place. I hate coming here. I would rather ship by UPS then deal with all this drama. read more

FAILED SERVICE 1) Refuses to reimburse my money on a damaged piece of art from Poland with insurance paid in Warsaw. Painting needed a new custom frame. This happened in 2018 2) An express EMS envelope failed to be delivered in Warsaw Poland and this Post Office is now refusing to reimburse $65. NO WONDER THE USPS is operating a deficit these days. If -5 stars was possible I would want -10. The service inside the post office is fine. Friendly most of the time. The problem is with the carriers. They are constantly delivering other peoples mail. Clearly marked addresses. Can not help but wonder how many pieces of my mail I never see. Gross incompetence. There is no way our carriers are even trying to deliver the mail to the right people. My husband and I had the best experience in this post office. We were there getting a PO Box and we had a complicated situation; but the employees working (John, Christine and Karen), all helped us a great deal and were very patient with us. They were very courteous and helpful to everyone that came in. We were probably there an hour, (our fault, not theirs) and they were great with everyone! Great place! read more

I generally come here after hours to drop off boxes and random packages in the large after hours box. The times I have been in during hours the people were fairly nice, unlike most other post offices. read more

Three Postal Delivery people - the two men are wonderful - if anyone would answer the phone at the local Post Office, it would be a blessing - a crazy women delivering just the part of mail she wants to deliver, returning some - delivering my box to the wrong address and then it comes to me ten days late and - delivered by Fed Ex - believe it - and it is broken - wrap your head around that - it starts in Telford, PA at the Post Office goes to the wrong address, (same number as mine) wrong street - sent on January 14, 2018 - gets to my home address via Fed Ex on February 9, 2018! No mail delivery in Silverthorne - went to the PO to get mail every day for 45 years - so happy to have mail delivery in Arvada - get rid of the blonde and make me happy again - and pay damages on my package!!! read more

USPS was supposed to deliver a package to me. My house does NOT have a mail box on the curb we have a community mail box. The package was marked delivered. I checked my mail box when I got home and the package was not in my box. I checked my front porch, sides of the house and behind both fences on each side. No package. I called the company that I order it from and they referred me to the carrier (USPS). I called them and started a missing package case on it. I waited 2-3 business days to follow up. When I followed up the supervisor I spoke with said the package was probably mis delivered. This has been a problem for the past year or more. USPS has marked a package delivered but it was never delivered to my house. I told the supervisor this and he said he would look into it. All I was looking for is answers to where my mail is being delivered. We have gotten to know many of our neighbors due to them having to bring us (or we bring them their mail) our personal mail as they often receive ours mixed into theirs. At this point the USPS rep said he had no further answers for me. Again this was over the phone not in person. He said the job of a postmaster is not easy and would LOVE for me to come in and work for a day. I kid you not this is what their response was to me. I told him tomorrow would work for me. He clearly was not ready for that answer and he replied with "well I would have to get that approved." We went on for a bit longer and I finally asked for his name. He said his name when I answered but I was at work (metal fabrication) so I wasn't able to clearly hear him. At the end of the phone call I asked for HIS supervisor he said he was not in today. I asked for his name and number. He REFUSED to give it to me. After finishing my work day I went to the post office and asked for business cards and a complaint form. The supervisor I spoke to in person said they did not have any business cards or complaint forms. When he realized I was the person on the phone from relayer he said and I quote "what is your problem?' I starred at him in disbelief and he then referred me to the 1-800 number or the website. I questioned why a NATIONAL business/company does not have any complaint forms or business cards. I also asked for his name and he said he did not have to provide that information. As I was talking to him I noticed he was wearing a badge with his photo, first name, and LAST name. When he noticed me looking at it he flipped it around so that i could not get his name. I was able to get his first name but not his last. He then informed me that I wrote down the wrong last name. So i asked him for his last name. He said that he did not have to provide that as it was personal information. (but it was/is on his work ID badge) I told him I was not going to complain about his personal life just his work professionalism. The conversation then took a very strange turn. He said I was acting suspicious and moving toward threatening. I asked how so, I am only asking for information for a complaint. I have not raised my voice or been unprofessional. He said I had all the information needed and proceeded to say "If I need to call the police I will, now I am going to ask you to leave the post office." I gathered my belongings and left at this point. As a whole USPS and their employees have no concern, proper process, proper follow ups, or logical solutions found or provided for me.I am again left with having to find my own resolution to my mail dilemma. I recored (video) the whole time I was in the post office on my phone. I understand that having a job and dealing with people can be hard but he could have been more professional with the situation. Dave F (?) is not a nice person to deal with at this location. A corporation of this size needs to figure out how to be sure the clients are getting their mail and that they are delivering the mail to the right homes. There is a ton of information someone could gather about me from getting my mail. I do not believe we will see any sort of resolution but I hope to bring attention to this in hopes to put and end to this mindless and senseless mail delivering. I will be contacting Levi Lopez (Postmaster of USPS Indian tree Arvada) about his "supervisor". I would avoid this post office like people are avoiding Covid-19. read more

They have been my local office for 5 years and in those five years I have had numerous issues with receiving my mail. For 6 months straight I did not receive any mail. When I called the office to inquire as to why they said they were delivering all mail that came to that address. However, when I asked my insurance company why I hadn't received my Insurance renewal card they told me it was sent to me over a month ago and not returned. After numerous failed calls and trips to the office, I submitted a complaint of mail theft. It then came to light that another person who goes by my name, and lives in the same area, had put in a change of address form and that they also forwarded my mail as well to the new address of the other person. Come to find out when this post office receives a change of address for a person they forward mail based on name only and do not check the address. During this 6 months, I called the office numerous times and went into the office numerous times, it wasn't until I submitted a claim of mail theft did it come to light that the post office wrongfully forwarded my mail to another persons address. To rectify this I had to submit a change of address and also had to contact all my creditors/business contacts to inform them of the mistake and that I was indeed still at my address of record. Now for the reason I decided to comment. Thursday of last week, I went into the office and sent a high priority piece of mail via their Priority Mail One Day service, cost of $5.95. As of today, which is 4 days later my mailing has yet to arrive at its destination. When I called yesterday to inquire as to any problems I was told that Priority Mail One Day does not mean it will be delivered in one day rather they will TRY to deliver it in one day. I informed the person I spoke with it had been several days and that the addressee was across the street from the very post office. They informed me that means nothing. She stated she would contact the driver for that route and ask her/he whether or not they delivered and then call me back with more info. I never received the call back. I highly recommend if you need to use the USPS use a different post office if at all possible. read more
