I paid extra to have a package delivered to this store to hold until I could fly home. Then I got notification that the package would be returned to sender. I called the store DIRECTLY asked them to please hold onto it just 2 extra days until I flew home. They acknowledged positively, but then my package was returned to sender. Ugh. read more

If you are trying to decided what UPS store to use, DON'T use this location. HORRENDOUS customer service and attitude! I recently went to return am Amazon item. I was busy pulling up the return code on my phone, to make sure it was ready when I got to the counter. In that process, I didn't notice the handwritten note on the door. I entered the store to complete my return. After a minute or so, the UPS employee behind the counter on the computer, and I had a nasty encounter! UPS Employee: "what can I help you with?". Me: "just a return for Amazon". Ups Employee: "Can't do that the systems down" Me: "Oh, okay thanks" As I am walking out of the store the UPS employee said "That's what the sign on the door says IDIOT". Completely, uncalled for, and horrible costumer service experience. It's not the first time I have had nasty service from this employee. I just brushed it off in the past. Great experience!! Fast service!! I stopped in on Saturday to send 12 very important over night packages. Gracie helped me. She was very accurate when typing out all 12 different address and PO numbers. She was very nice and helpful. I'll be back...hopefully Gracie will be there to help me again. This is a convenient location in the middle of Arvada and it will be my new, normal drop off spot for all my shipping needs. read more

Friendly service BUT I was told I could NOT insure food (even non-perishable) which is incorrect. My order was lost and I lost over $300 of goods because I was told I couldn't insure it. The workers were friendly and tried to help me, but they couldn't. Management never got back to me. I almost gave 2 stars for friendly service, but not acceptable that I never heard back from management. Since I left my review, an 'employee' has responded with falsified information and I have been told my mailbox is not being offered to me to renew... which I am more than fine with. I have never cut the line- in fact, as part of my review, I have detailed how long I have spent waiting in line on almost a daily basis, I have never asked for more than one piece of tape and almost always have the boxes sealed before I come in, and have personally witnessed Angie belittling staff, customers, and having an overall bad attitude. It's unfortunate that this is the response for a TRUE and accurate review of a store. Instead of fixing the issues at-hand, they try to attack paying customers... this is an interesting business model. I have heard multiple people say they avoid that location and as time has gone on, I understand why but always have the benifit of the doubt. I have mailed packages from this store multiple times. On two occasions the package did not arrive to its destination intact. The packages were opened, and contents removed. I was super disappointed. I tried to communicate the issue to the store, and never had a response from anyone. read more

One particular staff member (Mimi I believe?) needs to stop being so condescending and not take out her frustrations on others. I came in with a question, hopefully looking for a solution. A little girl had helped me get my package scanned to ship out, but I asked if there would be any issues with the address (the printing label had rearranged the address a bit). The little girl wasn't 100% sure, so she asked Mimi for clarification. Instead of trying to be HELPFUL, she scoffed and looked at me like I was ridiculous, then continued to tell me "We don't know any of that. We just scan the package. We wouldn't be able to tell you anything about the address." I wasn't really looking for a lecture on how far your responsibilities go, but a solution would have been nice. I had to take my package back home because I wasn't sure if it would get lost with the rearranged address, and she scoffed at that too. I just don't understand the condescending and rude behaviour. It truly is unnecessary and Mimi needs some training on how to treat customers. read more

The worst customer service!! The girl that was at the counter was most unpleasant; throwing packages around and told me to "just wait a minute" for her to help me. When she finally summoned me to the counter it was very clear that this person hates her job and needs to find another one or work behind the scenes rather than in front line customer service. No need to be so negative to the customers that support her paycheck by using this location for shipping. I was dropping off an Amazon return and based on the interaction with this UPS store employee I would expect that bad customer service is not acceptable by either company standard. Do not ship your belongings from here unless you want them to show up at your destination completely destroyed! I even consulted the staff about which box to use and how to pack my belongings prior to shipping. Then, the box arrived 6 days late and was completely destroyed, with a tv I had never even opened destroyed, family pictures water damaged and broken glass everywhere. The box was water damaged, stained with oil & not even closed anymore, falling completely apart. I tried to go through the claims process with the store but they were astoundingly unhelpful. I am supposed to be getting a refund on the cost of shipping, but I shipped the package on May 25th and still have not seen anything now almost a month later. Furthermore, they are only giving me $100 although I bought insurance on the shipment and suffered much larger losses than this. Again, DO NOT SHIP FROM HERE! I usually have a good experience at this location but today I was treated so disrespectfully that I will find another location to use. UPS did not leave a package at my house even though no signature was requested and other boxes were delivered. When I got to the store, I handed over my ID and asked why the package wasn't delivered because it defeats the purpose of ordering online for delivery. I did not have an attitude. It was an honest question. The clerk rudely said she didn't know, it is the driver's discretion, and that next time they could just send the package back to the sender. I told her that I was only asking because I wanted to see if something can be done for the future. The clerk also told another clerk that I grabbed my ID. She extended it and I took it. I came in for notary services and to mail a letter. The employee called me over for help and I stated what I needed. She refused to serve me based on the service I asked for. I came in for a one stop shop. The owner is unprofessional and rude. Instead of solving the issue she made it worst. There are no special hours posted for notary service. It takes nothing more than putting it in the book and looking at my ID. I waited on line like everyone else. Thus business owner should go back to business school. Meh. Drove 30 minutes out of my way to find an open UPS that runs later than 4:30. No variety selection on packing peanuts, envelopes or boxes. Very pricey too. They also don't ship until Monday night at 6:00pm. But they're one of the very few who are open on Sundays. Horrible customer service. Asked if they had a box that I could buy and they had me fill out paperwork and told me it would be 16.95. Then after label was done, told me to slide my card and it went to 30.00. Wth?!! Small box was 10 then told me they charged for packing material. None of this was told up front- boxes are hidden in back with no prices - I could have packed it myself. USPS would have cost no more than 18$ total with 3 day shipping and that includes s box. I arrived at 4:30 in search of a quick notarization and I was pleased to see I was the only patron in the shop. It was a snowy night and I had difficulty getting from work any earlier and their phone was out of service. The employee behind the desk pointed to a sign on the wall indicating notarization between 8 and 4 PM. The website suggests making an appointment or "just stop by." Nowhere does it mention the notary hours. I asked politely for an exception the the posted hours, particularly since there were 3 employees in the shop and the driving was treacherous. To no avail. The notary was taping some boxes and indicated she was too busy to assist in the 2 minute service and I would need to return during "notary hours." Not even a consideration. I can say with certainty that I will not provide business to this UPS store in the future, and I would suggest you do the same. I am a business owner and they should no better than to treat their customers with such disrespect. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. Total nightmare, I pack according to guidelines, UPS put a fridge on top of my correctly packed package, it doesn't matter how you pack, when the dump a giant appliance on it and wonder why it is damaged, and then put the blame on me. I made a claim, they denied it, I appealed, and now it is being overturned because I have the photos, I have my clients' photos of the package, it was packed exactly how UPS wants, with a box cert rating much higher than it needed to be, double ply etc. They accused my of only using a 1 ply box, when in fact I have numerous photos of the double ply box, So after probably 15 hours of being on the phone with different UPS departments, and the store, I have to constantly call and email back to see where we are at with my refund. They never call or email me back even though I request them. When I call the damage department, they said I need to take it up with the store itself because I purchased the label through the store and they can't discuss it with me,(stupidest thing I have ever heard). The employees were unhelpful and rude. I really hope no one has to deal with this. Especially that my business used to give them about a thousand dollars per month. But now I have switched over to FedEx, the delivery options are better, the process is better, the customer service is better. It is only a matter of time before UPS goes bankrupt with Amazon and other better companies taking over, bring it on, people are over the shipping monopoly that they have. read more
