I usually have a good experience with USPS delivering packages. I was waiting for a package from Amazon. At 6:01pm on June 28 USPS stated they tried to make a delivery attempt but location was unsafe. This is where I received many of many packages from all over. Now, the funny part is that I received a slip in my mailbox stating location was unsafe, ok I get it but the address on the slip was a whole other zip code. My zip code is 10456 the USPS Office zip is 10452...go figure. Here is the kicker, wait for it!!!!!!. I went to the post office at the above location and wait for it!!!! THEY CAN'T FIND MY PACKAGE. I felt sorry for Ms.Yvette who was pregnant going back and forth looking for my package. She even called the courier and wasn't in on the call. She then told me to call this number on the slip to complain. Went home pissed because it was hot outside, hot in the post office and had to wait on a long line for no package. I wish I could leave zero stars!!!! For the second time my package was marked as delivered and handed to resident. I did not leave my house waiting for it all day! Bold faced LIE!!!!!!!!! The first time it happened luckily the USPS truck was still in my area. I waited by the truck for the driver to return. He went into a totally different building to retrieve my package. I can only imagine the things they get away with! Not to mention when they claim delivery was attempted and notice left despite receiving no notice and a status of on the way the whole day. I've made 8 claims in the past two years, three being literally recent. Never once I've had any issues with USPS, but now their services are growing awful. I have receipts that this issue is consistent, where they claim there was no secure location to deliver however I'm always home (If not two people are home) or arriving 15-20 minutes AFTER their claim of inability and the mailboxes always have at least one box with an available key (if they can't deliver to the door). Recently, I keep getting reached out claiming they'll have my package delivered the next day and I always have them add the instructions to CALL ME if anything. They reassure me every time it will be delivered, knowing my circumstances that I cannot go in person; and every-time they don't keep their word. I have to open a new case where it's apparently "still in work." I'm going out the country next week, so hopefully my packages are delivered as told today. I'll update this comment tomorrow morning, because I'll be very pissed off if I have to arrive late to one of my classes to get that package as it holds very important items needed for this business trip. P.S -- don't even bother calling their number, it doesn't work and automatically either hangs up after "ringing," or claims to be "no agents available," despite me calling every hour. Which is ironic, that I get called from that exact number and told to call if anything, but it's impossible to get in contact. At one point it sounded like my call was answered then hung up on almost immediately when they've noticed. No joke, I've been chill the first four times it happened. But the consistency is growing insane, to the point I'll even buy myself a beach chair to sit in the lobby on the day they'll "deliver." (LMAO, I won't but the thought is funny). Just to add, twice had they delivered my package (after confirming details with me and everything) to the WRONG BUILDING. And this is so frequent (I haven't done claims for wrong delivered address as the kind stranger has been thoughtful in notifying or bringing it to us) to the point that person who lives there always comes over with our package to drop it off when it happens. I don't know how USPS functions; but all I know is it's absolutely stressful and irking to "falsely" leave notices then don't keep their word. I'm tired of calling the international number and dealing with this. (Updating tomorrow, but I doubt it'll come today because the tracking number updated hasn't been updated and last time I went through this, it updated.) My income tax check was never delivered went there for them to tell me they don't know where it is..I'm showing the inform delivery from 1 week ago it was suppose to be delivered and nothing. Oh my lord where can I begin?! This post office is the WORST post office of ALL TIME!!!! I wish I can give them ZERO stars because one star is beyond generous with the horrendous service they provide. I've been having issues with this post office for almost 4 years. They barely deliver my packages to my residence and if I do get my package it's always 2-3 weeks after I was supposed to receive it. They even "claimed " no one was home when I was home all day. These people are the complete worst kind of people. Customer service is even worse when I go personally to pick up the package because they never re delivered my item not once out of the millions of times I requested a re delivery. I'll literally be on the line for an whole HOUR waiting to receive my stuff because the staff are beyond lazy, disrespectful and rude. I even tried calling their station but they never pick up the phone and when they did I always got called a "fucking bitch" by the supervisor named Sabrina Robinson. They recently changed it to now you can't even call the station directly and it takes you to USPS customer service. When you call your literally on hold for than an hour which is extremely irritating. I also have tried making complaints through their website but I'm unable to do so because they're website isn't mobile friendly and I am never to submit my complaint. My daughter and I were expecting our passports to be delivered as a priority mail 1-DAY on Friday August 2, 2019. Our flight was scheduled for Saturday August 3, 2019 @ 10PM. We missed our flight and so I had to paid $912 to rescheduled the flight for Monday August 5, 2019 because the USPS failed to deliver them on time. We received our passport from the Supervisor on Aug 5, 2019 @ 10AM and what he said was" I'm sorry the delivery man was a new guy and he left all the packages that was supposed to be delivered in my building to the wrong building across the street from my building". The Supervisor handed me my package on August 5, 2019 but changed the delivery day on the system to August 3, 2019. To make it look as the package was delivered on time. I have come to the postal office dozens of times expecting better service. The workers are lazy, the lines are long, and they frequently lose your package. They are also rude. To one of the customers, they said "Can you read?" And it was insulting and degrading. The WORST service! Express shipping item was supposed to be delivered 1/17, it is now 2/5 & I still have not received the package or any info regarding it. Called this location (who also doesn't answer) over a dozen times and haven't received any progress, would get false promises on redelivery & never even received a notice slip (which shows they didn't do their job correctly). Erica and a male with the last name Rodriguez were completely unreliable and rude. Their 'attempts' to deliver weren't attempts at all. My front door is open (anyone could walk directly inside without a key/code) & the individuals who the package is for are DISABLED. They are home at all times and need the package delivered directly to the apartment door. Never once for almost 3 weeks have they heard a knock or doorbell from USPS. I cannot pick up because I work during all hours of operation. How are they supposed to receive their medication or similar important deliveries in the future when this postal location is UNRELIABLE. I am extremely disappointed in this profoundly repulsive service & that these workers at this location cannot do their actual job and fester daily with lazy and unprofessional character. My mother and I went to send boxes to Wisconsin to my aunt. We had one boxes but since it had writing we had to get the boxes from the post office. I understand that. So we took the things and put it in the USPS boxes. Since we had a bigger box, our things were separated into two USPS boxes. We sent the boxes on Friday. My Aunt got the boxes on Wednesday. One of the boxes was fine and everything was in it but the other box was severally damaged. Some of the things were missing. And to add insult to injury, there was a whisky bottle. I'm 66 years old and this is the first time I've commented on my post office that has serviced me for over 40 years. It used to be a pleasure going there to ship and receive packages also to call and talk to one of the postal employees. Now when I go in the employees take their time even coming over to the window to assist me. They all have these attitudes towards you like they hate you or just don't want to work. Now when I've been calling to respond to a delivery notices thats was put in my mail box. The phone rings and rings and rings. Not a soul picks up causing me to hang up and try again with the same results. No answer. Really sad situation. Undercover management should come down as a customer to see what is now one of the worst post offices I've been using in years. If I could give a no star review I would have. Where do I start, Well first they never deliver my packages I always have to go and pick it up. When you go to the post office they're so rude and so many people but barely workers at all, all the time. Once an employee cursed me out and was very rude and disrespectful for no reason. I tried to reschedule for my package to be redelivered but doesn't matter they still won't deliver it to my home at all. It's pointless to re-schedule a delivery. I tried going online to report what happened but they don't do nothing at all. Literally everyone that goes there could tell you the same thing they have a nasty attitude very rude and poor customer service from the employees at that location. The Bronx Morrisania post office is by far the worst post office I've ever been to. I am forced to attend this post office due to it being my zoned office. They are always short staffed and overcrowded. The manager seems angry and upset when the customers began to complain. They used to have a sign on the wall where we could write our experience at this site and now it has been removed. If they cannot afford the staff, they need to shut this place down and redirect us to the another site that is more accommodating. To make matters worse, there is no place for the elders to sit for the long wait and there is no elder line to help expedite their process. This is the worst Post Office in the City of NY. They changed my address without my authorization;it took me a long time to have my address restored. Now they changed my wife address again without any prior authorization and without our authorization;no notification in order to change the address, didn't get in contact with us. I wish I could move out of this zone. I hate this Post Office.
