Chris S. came about a month ago because suddenly we had several different wasp species building nests around the shed and house - including our front door. Chris said he stopped counting at around 17 nests by the shed! He took care of the wasp problem so we'll that even now it still seems to be under control. On a personal note, we had a sick cat at the time who would occasionally hide under the shed. Chris used a powder instead of the spray so as not to harm the cat should she hide there. I highly recommend Viking Pest Control ! We had a severe ant problem, they were coming into the house and biting my daughter whose room faces the front of the house. We have woods behind us and have also a severe amount of mosquito's. We were in a contract with another company who was trying to rid us of ants and mosquitoes but the bugs never stopped coming ! THE DAY Viking was here from 9am-1:30 for the inside and outside, the bugs were GONE ! I could swing my 2 yr old grandson on the swing without mosquitoes and saw no ants at all, was almost eerie how gone they were. An excellent Pest Control provider. I use them for controlling field mice and Stink Bugs that get into the house. I live in the middle of a heavily wooded lot so they had been a significant problem. 0 stars. Showed up hours late for scheduled appointment. The people on the phone when you call in are rude including the managers. The exterminators that come out to the house are different every time and each one has a different story about the issue. First guy sprayed the interior of the house when we were home. Most recent guy refused to spray inside since we were home saying house must be vacated for at least 4 hours to spray inside. So which is it? I have small kids they never told us to leave the house with the original interior spray. And then the "smart" rodent monitor that we had installed 3 months ago hasn't worked correctly since we got it and we still get charged. read more

The mighty mountain men from Viking pest did a damn good job of making my patio sparkle again. Had a minor beetle issue that I feared would become major so I called Viking pest. Within a day they had a massive, scratch that, gargantuan team of three norsemen come in and after a couple of "heave-ho's" my patio was beetle-free. The main reason is they have a gentleman by the name of Paul Kaplan that knows the business, is great to work with, but most importantly he gets rid of all pests. The man knows his business! While their workers are professional and kind, we have now been using Viking for several months and the truth is, they just can't eliminate some of our pests. Our house is a special case and they don't have the experience necessary to provide quality service. We are constantly taking off work to have them perform treatments over and over again for the same insects. I wanted to be happy with them, I really did...but unfortunately, our needs aren't being met by this company. Before you sign up for one of their packages, it would be worth your time and money to pay for services separately (to ensure they are successful and you are satisfied) before locking yourself into a plan. We made the mistake of signing up for a plan right away, and now we're stuck with ineffective pest control. read more

Viking does not stand by its work. We had flying squirrels in our attic space and they used one-way traps to exclude the squirrels and then sealed the holes with wire mesh. This was in January. By September the squirrels were back. Viking inspected again and told us the mesh was gone. We would have to pay for them to do it all over again. We had already paid $435. Viking said it was not their problem. read more
