I overnighted my son's test results discs from NY Presbyterian Hospital to a surgeon at St Francis hospital. The package wound up in Pennsylvania where it sat for 5 days. Today it arrived in Roslyn and I had to pick it up. The clerks at the post office called me a liar when I said they were sitting in Pa for 5 days and the manager refused to talk to me. This is my second visit here , first time I witnessed the worker being very rude to an elderly women rolling her eyes and shaking her head. My visit today It was past 9am one of them was getting dress at the window and then started organizing her area, then the second one came and started organizing her area meanwhile there were five customers waiting in them. I asked for some tape and she gave me one that was done, I asked her for a new one and she handed me a roll of tape which was old and full of hair, at this point I told here just sell me a roll of new tape and she finally gave me a good one. These workers are not professional at all and seem to be miserable working there. Worst customer service for such a small post office which I'm sure most of the customers are locals. One star is way too much to rate this post office. read more

Why isn't zero stars an option yet? I have never been inside the post office so my review is my solely based on getting my mail delivered, well, in my case, not delivered. I decided to forward all my mail. Sorry I did. Now I get mail at home, my forward address and not at all. I send mail out and it never makes it to its destination, I have ordered from Express.com twice since I moved into college point and both times my package was "lost". It's sad nothing can be done. I order from Amazon and my packages are delivered in 3 days. I pay for 2 day prime for a reason. Why would stamps go up if this service gets worse and worse. I mailed a letter to Manhattan and on the 3rd day it still wasn't there. Who knows where it went. We might never find out. Thank you to all the hard workers. Sure it's not easy. But the others, the ones that loose mail and don't deliver it. Get another job. read more

This office lost a package that the tracking system marked as "out for delivery". The final tracking message a month ago is "package delayed." How do you lose a package that is already on the truck to be delivered? When I call, the phone just rings several times, then is cut off. Horrible customer service. read more

August 20th, 2019-- 3:10pm. I dont know the name of the worker but she's really "big size" and African American. I just dropped two boxes off at this location. When I was next she told me to open the box and I asked which one because The one on her side was full of stuffs so I guessed it was the other one.. she stayed quiet, another person behind me told me "yes that one" so when I inserted my first box I asked her "the other one too? Or this one first" and she didn't give me an answer again! She obviously heard me, she's so freaking rude I swear! She rolled her eyes at me and shake her head. Like I'm sorry I don't work here so obviously I don't know, you can just give a simple answer like the other nice ladies. Then with her fake smile she asked me if that's it I can go, so I asked her for the receipt and she said "oh you didn't say you wanted one, next time you can just say you want one so I can print it out" I swear to God her attitude was so bad, she said it in such a sarcastic way! She expects everyone to know what she knows. During this whole time she was laughing with her coworker and making fun of me! I don't know why usps hired such a rude and nasty person like her, she makes fun of everyone's knowledge and accent. Even rude to old ladies. She must get fired, I'm tired of not wanting to drop off my packages just because she's there ready to give attitude. This usps location is the worst. read more

Going here is a necessity and having mail delivered from here is one too. I have had a certified check carrier make no attempt to ring the door bell or knock on the door to deliver a certified check ON CAMERA. The package carriers 3 out of 10 times also make no effort to even stop at my home, instead I observe on the usps app a status to my delivery reading that an attempt to deliver my package has been made but there was no answer at the door. ALSO ON CAMERA. To make things worsed in such occasions I contact the post office and usually speak to the same person whom 1. Tells me the carrier of the mail/ package out for delivery does not have a contact cell phone 2. That I will not be receiving my mail/package at the promised delivery date and I will essentially be, needing to schedule a pickup on the next business day. I have called the USPS main offices to file complaints and magically receive my mail/ package within 10 minutes of my complaint. Which tells me the carriers do have a cell phone. And also tells me the post office will refuse to cooperate with me, instead will try to insult my intelligence. This post office deserves ZERO stars. I am only going to rate it 1 because I am required to in order to post this review. read more

Not really sure where to start, if you go in for anything it takes a good 20-30 minutes even if you are the only person they move that slow. Then your actual mail service is even worse, for one full week I got other people's mail not like my neighbor that's not a big deal I'm talking blocks away people, I guess they couldn't read the big signs at both ends of the street with the numbers on it. Worst post office in existance consistently losing my packages or leaving them at the wrong address. They never ring the doorbell and just mark no secure location available, sometimes they scan the package as delivered and it doesn't get here for days after it's been scanned. . read more

To begin with, the post office is in a horrible location with barely any parking. The few spots that exist are all metered. The building itself is run down and dirty inside. Service is slow and the clerk I had not friendly. This review is based on 3 separate visits; two were for window services one was to speak to the station manager to find a lost package to me that was marked delivered. While he was searching for it for two days, my bell rang and it was delivered by a kind neighbor two blocks away who found it at her side door! When I called the manager to let him know he simply replied "oh that's good" and hung up. read more

College Point's Super Post Office. I love these folks! They're friendly, professional and efficient and, totally unlike my Mom's facility in Prince Georges County, MD, very responsive. Mark (the Manager) and Mike (Assistant Mgr.) immediately resolved a priority mail delivery issue that I had with my Mom's P.O. that had been dragging on for weeks. Mark said to me, "the customer's always right." It's because of individuals like him and his staff that I support my local post office and terrific mail carriers. Horrible service. Never ring the bell nor knock the door, no matter how many times I requested a redelivery, they still said: there's no secure location available. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is by fair the worst post office I have ever have the tragedy to deal with. Never in all my years living in 3 different neighborhoods in Queens have I seen so much incompetence, disorganization and lack of responsibility. They gave lost me numerous packages in 6 years and their response is always a stupid excuse blaming others , they say: well, I think it was stolen . Sometimes neighbors come to bring me my packages , sometimes I receive packages that are not for me. These are big size packages , letters for another address are left by my mailbox , I left them outside asking the mailman in writing to take them to their rightful owner and he never takes them back . If you complain to the mailman , he hates you forever . As I write this , I am waiting for a representative from the post office to take my complain of today but 30 min has passed and nothing yet . There is no much that I could do but cross my fingers for the next package since I buy in Amazon and most prime packages are sent through the USPS . read more

There's a lady named Bernadette that works here, she is beyond helpful and a very sweet and nice woman.

I live in College point for over 30 years, and since I used this office I didn't have any complains. For the last 3 years it has been a horrible experience. The customer service is bad, they are rude, disregarded and selfish. On the other hand the mailman another thing. He believes because he has been working for many years with the company, that he owns the place. I do have security cameras now, and he never knock on the door or ring on the bell. Throw mail and if I ask to pick it up packages, never comes. I had knee surgery and I have to go to the usps office to bring the packages.It's necessary for management to take care of this problems. Besides that we're customers who deserve respect from usps. read more
