It is also small and limited, so it could get really crowded depending on whether patrons show up at the same time or not. Those two issues make this post office a little inconvenient at times. I usually have a good luck in the mid-afternoon. The customer service is what you'd expect from US Postal Office...not too much personality, but they get the job done efficiently. I have never picked up my mail here, so I can't speak for that service. As far as purchasing some stamps or mailing a box, it's a fairly benign experience here. Thanks for delivering our mail with very reasonable fees everyday--rain or shine. (I was going to say snow, but it doesn't happen too often here in El Paso.)

They sell socks, hand creams, random nicknacks but not actual shipping supplies? Make it make sense. They also do not provide shipping receipts. This location is closer to my work, but another location from same company that is closer to my house do sell shipping bags and always provide a shipping receipt for all drop offs. Why is each location so different? And shouldn't postal annex prioritize shipping supplies? At the end, i drove to ups store to buy shipping bags then drove back to the postal annex to drop off the item to ship via fedex.

There are never any lines, the people here are great, attentive, helpful, friendly, and all those other qualities you would wish for but never get when you go to other post offices. Then there's the building! It's like walking into a museum with mosaic tile flooring, a high 50' ceiling with a beautiful sky light, magnificent arches that make you want to open a p.o. box just so you have a reason to pass under them, roman columns as you enter the building, and these stone stairs that make you feel like you're entering the past. I can only imagine who and how many people have walked the same steps, only wishing to establish communications with loved ones far away. I never hate going to the post office now that I've discovered this hidden gem. Plus, the food truck court yard is right across the street. So pick up some stamps, walk across the street, grab some good food from the trucks, HAND write a letter to a loved one, then walk back and send it off. It's like a blast from the past...
