It is hard to make a review on a County Government. My review is not for the County Government but…read morerather on my experience visiting the County Government Building. 1. There is a parking garage which I prefer to use any day when needing to visit. Their fees start at $2 after 10 minutes. They accept both credit card and cash. The garage safely supports vehicles up to 7 feet high. You may park outside on the street and use meters but during the week it gets complicated to find parking lot. 2. The security team is friendly and informative yet this does not mean they will let people/items pass by them. They will scan you and your belongings to ensure everyone is safe inside the building. 3. There is a cafeteria. 4. There is a library open to the public on the very last floor. 5. The place is large and clean. 6. The staff is very attentive and provide informative costumer service, but they are not attorneys nor your legal counselors. 7. Depending why you are visiting is where you will be going. Lower level are Child Support Services. Registry in the matters of Marriage, death, divorce is also in the lower level. Court mid levels, library and actual marriage upper level.

I recently came to the courthouse to get a copy of my birth certificate. If you aren't able to come…read moredowntown, you can also get your birth certificate at two other satellite courthouses. One's in the northeast and the other is in the lower valley going towards Socorro. Keep in mind, this is for people who were born in El Paso, Texas. A birth certificate can also be ordered online. It takes longer to receive in the mail. Anyway, everything happened quickly enough. I parked in a parking lot across the street for an hour. I still had time left over when I got out! There are security guards who check your purse, pockets, etc. when you walk in. Your purse, back pack, etc. goes into a machine. It's like the ones you see at an airport before boarding the plane. The county clerk's office is downstairs to your right. You fill out a form about the purpose of your visit and get in line. The clerk was helpful and efficient. The only thing is...my name is misspelled on my birth certificate. I didn't even know it until he pointed it out. This is the office you also come to if you need a death certificate. The birth certificates are $23 and the death certificates are $21. I wanted an additional copy but he said it would be $23 more. Online it says $4 for additional copies. Overall, the process wasn't bad.

I've been using this port of entry since I was a little girl living in Juarez and is honestly the…read morebest out of the three in the Juarez metropolitan area. What makes this the best out of the three? This port of entry has like 12 check points and more than half of those are "ready lanes" which makes it faster than the other bridges. The only bad thing about it, is that once in a while the US Border side decides to close half of all the lanes and then chaos comes into place. Pro tip #1: Before you cross the border, please do yourself a favor and get the visa card that allows you to use the ready lane. If you only have a passport, you'll have to use the other lanes that take at least twice the waiting time. Pro tip #2: There is a website online called "reporte de puentes" which gives you a better idea of how long the line is. Pro tip #3: Don't come here without snacks. You'll be here a while and you'll start craving the chips that people sell at the bridge. Pro tip #4: Use the bathroom before you get here. There are no restrooms and no way you can stop to use one. Final and most important tip: IF you have the visa card that I mentioned on tip #1, always use the lane on the left side. This is the longest one, but this lane covers half of the bridge so it moves faster.

By the time you hit US soil you'll be retirement age and wanting to return home anyway. Borders are a joke. They serve no purpose but to impose misery and inspire Total Recall films. This is a family run cousin, in-law, Armijo projects buddy neighbor, and anyone else they know that only get the better assignments company. Period. Same, same, same as mike garcia, matter of fact-identical. Poor pay, poor onboarding, poor communication, poor resources. Poor. The website clearly indicates in writing "Come into our office and apply." What happens? You go there and in a very loud obnoxious tone told "FOLLOW THE APPOINTMENT TIMES WE ARE NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME-WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU PEOPLE?" I asked what time is that and then the female said "Can you tell time? Can you read and write? Are you deaf?" No, but now since I was already there maybe someone was only having a bad day. I came back in an hour and applied and was hired and sent to the International bridge. You need a diaper and sanitary wipes. No restroom allowed, available or permitted working? HOLD it for the entire shift or wet your pants. My partner one afternoon was in such bad shape from some bad meal he had and said he really needed to seriously relieve bowl movement. What did he do? He went into an area off the Stanton Street bridge and away from direct camera sight -relieved himself, came back to his shift with a solid wet and the foulest of smell stains from his backside pants and sat down like that for the entire shift with no TP or sanitary hygiene. I told my shift supervisor about what I observed and he replied "Did you help yourself to some of that?" Intolerable the obvious GED at best from roughly 50% of this business employees the rest either quit grade school or only need social media as a means to their continuous education, the drug and alcohol abuse prevalent amongst most guards working at this company, the wife beating arrests of guards on actual duty, moreover the dynamics of mentally challenged DNA incestual crossbreed guards and employees they hire at this at this business, but safety and professionalism is another thing. I quit the next day.

The work is mostly easy however the office staff is very unprofessional as well. Everything is inconsistent especially with pay , as it should be noted to make sure you have a good log on hours. People can call off whenever they want and not get punished for it , which leaves you working doubles. Even more so their shady business practices as well when it comes to your records. Definitely wouldn't recommend here even if you simply want a start. When you think that this has been going on for awhile they still won't change anything.
