Worst post office ever. Slow service, unmotivated, slow, rude help with attitude and terrible mail delivery. This post office holds mail for days without delivering it. Sometimes if you call to inquire about missing mail, it magically appears. Carriers are slow and spend all their time yapping on their cell phones while delivering. I have never in my life seen such bad service. I just had an emergency order of medication expedited from my online delivery service last week on Thursday. The pills were supposed to arrive on Sat. according to my online notification service but they did not. Monday still no pills. Now I am completely out of medication and doing without. Tuesday morning I call the post office about my missing delivery. Later that day, in the late afternoon, the "expedited " package appears in my mail box with my daily mail delivery. read more

I see most people gave awful reviews but to be honest my experience was quite different. Maybe it was just the time that I went or just pure luck. The line moved quickly and the counter staff was quite pleasant. I've been at other post offices which have had longer lines and have been slow but I guess you just have to live with it. I noticed there was a machine where one could do certain transactions on your own but it was a bit too late before I saw it. Maybe better signage to try and divert some of that traffic to those self-serve kiosks? read more

So today was expecting a package and was scanned to be returned.tobsender bcuz receiver "moved" mind you I've ben at this address 20plus years!!! mmediately upon receiving notification I showed up and they located my package but because the sender (china) put wrong name address but everything else was right they refused to release package and decided to "return " to sender after finding out they where expensive shoes "that I ordered showing them receipt of transaction ect providing all the necessary information and evidence proving i am the right full receiver of said package.. they are all fucking idiots u have my name number and address if u wanna say something to me in person Pussies!! read more

A single thing. I have a trip coming up in late September. I applied for a passport at the beginning of August. (Cutting it close I know). I had my picture taken by one of the employees at the post office and PAID for the picture so that all the requirements would be met. I get an email today telling me that my photo does not meet the requirements for a passport. I LITERALLY PAID SOMEONE who is supposed to be a professional to DO things so that I don't have an ISSUE, and now I am not only Inconvenienced, but also pissed that I now have to retake a picture, PAY to do so, and then expedite them receiving my photo, to make sure my passport arrives on time. I filled out the form to stop my mail four days before it needed to be stopped. They delivered the mail anyway and one of the management folks said the driver never received the form. The form was completed at the post office on Commerce Drive and delivered to one of the workers behind the counter, who acknowledged my request and said he would pass the form on to the appropriate person. read more

THEY STOLE MY PACKAGE This is a review of the US POST OFFICE at 357 Commerce Drive, Fairfield, CT 06825 On July 9, 2020, I dropped a small, 2 lb. Priority Mail package into the parcel bin/drum, closed it, and opened it again to make sure it was no longer in the drum and was on its way. However, the USPS tracking system has no record of it. They show I created a label, but when tracking via tracking number online, I get, "Still waiting for customer to drop it off or have it picked-up." From reviews on Google, it seems someone else had the same problem about a year ago (ultimately their box arrived -- re-packaged in a first class box but emptied of its original contents). I met with the supervisor there who said, "Well, it wasn't scanned here," and "Nothing like this has ever happened before at this Post Office." I asked if he ever read the reviews about this post office; he said no. read more
